Nice to see this title revived. I remember that this was one of the role plays I had been anticipating a lot back then. I joined and played the Phoenix. However, for this remake, I'm thinking of taking the role of the Elemental. I've just submitted a character in The Heroes.

If it gets approved, I think it'll make a good bio for this character in the role play. Coincidentally, she has mastery over 5 elements. I suppose that counts as all the elements? (Anyway, more can be added if need be)

EDIT:

I just realized someone has already taken the Elemental. I'll change that character to take the role of 'The Black Mage' then- one of the heroes. Since that character I have submitted does not have mastery over ALL the elements, I suppose this role fits her more than the Elemental. >.>

OK, sounds good Kevin. I love her pacifist nature. I think a less violent Valkyrie will definitely make for a great contrast. I assume her History is slightly different though, to fit with her race and status.

And Music, sure. The black mage is your's. Your profile for her is very nice and detailed, but be careful she doesn't become overpowered. If Vikki and yourself agree, perhaps your character and her's could be rivals.

Nice. That confirmed, I shall be playing the Black Mage then. However, I'd like to ask. Seeing the many roles there are available, I'm wondering if we are going to wait for all these roles to be filled up before we actually begin.

After all, I actually think that if each and every one of the active role players in this site were to gather, we may not actually have the same number as the amount of roles you have. It's an estimate though, but nonetheless, the question here is: when will we start this role play?
 
Hmmm I kinda wanna use my two approved RPB characters for this... but Claret isn't classed as a singer and Ryne isn't elemental.

Could I just edit them a bit? :wacky:
 
I'd like to have a couple more characters in the Heroes section. Any who want to join then can meet the characters in their journey.

You don't seem to have answered my previous question, but, when will we start the role play? If we have to wait till all the roles are filled up, I think the roles there are available are far too numerous for all the role players in this forum. There may not even be enough role players to take all these roles- even if some take two roles.
 
We don't need to necessarily have all the characters filled. It's just to allow the newcomers to join the roleplay if it's begun, so that they can have a place in the story. Two or three more Heroes, and we'll begin.
 
I'll give this a go, so long as I get a bit of guidance as I have never RP'ed in my life (I don't mean in a way that will annoy people, but perhaps a few pointers in the right direction). And also as long as this doesn't mean I'll have to spend a lot of time on it. I mean I'll spend enough time so that I'm here and posting every now and then, but just so long as the RP isn't relying on me being on every few hours of every day, etc.

I'm not sure how things usually work, but I'm willing to give it a go, as I've been wanting to give RP'ing a go for a while, and you seem desperate to get this started (and it's been almost a year in the making so you must be really anxious to get this off the ground).

As for who to be... I know you've highlighted who is who and taken which spots on the list, but as for the ones that aren't claimed, but someone had asked months ago to be them, are they still claimed by them for if they return, or are they open?

And another thing... Since I'm a noob at this, would it better to avoid picking an orange character, or are these most crucial and need the spots filled up and perhaps I should take one of these?

No, this will be moving at a semi-slow pace. A post every couple of days is fine.
Also, take any character not explicitly mentioned to be taken. Those from last year are obviously no longer interested. And feel free to take an orange character, as they are crucial. Your bio doesn't have to be done all at once. Add to it as the story continues.
 
In that case I'll look into being the Shapeshifter, and the Serpent (might pick another instead of this one).

I'm working on their bio's to see if I can get anywhere with them but I'm new at this so it will take time to develop them.

If I'm allowed to add the bio's at a later date like you say then that is a relief, though I'd still need to get a clear view of what the character should be before I put them out there so I still need work on them.

EDIT - I was wondering... Would the Serpent be considered good, bad or neutral, if I was to be the Serpent character? Or would this be among the creatures unbalancing the world?

The serpent can be any of the three. I deliberately made the vampire, werewolf and serpent character's alignment vague, allowing you to shape them to your will.
