well i just started a new job in a tattoo shop, just to get an oar in cos i'd love to be a tattoo artist.

I think perceptions of people with tattoos has changed a lot, im only 21 but my old man is covered in tats and he used to be treated like a criminal. I've always loved them and got my deposit down for 2 full sleeves and a neck piece and im looking for ideas, was going for a good/evil theme and i never stop playing FF7.

i feel like FF is a big part of my life, i met all my friends through tats and talking to clients etc about ff so i thought that was probably enough to want to get cloud/zack and sephiroth incorporated (sp?) into my design.

some people seem totally against this though

Indeed. Im 50/50 about my Muse logo as it will be there forever. But Im getting my Skelig angel wings on my shoulders and some song lyrics. Tattoos that mean something to you for a very long time are so worth it. But my guy has a Biffy Clyro one, had it for about 4 years and is regretting it now, hes going to get rid of it. Biffy are one of his fav bands and that got me thinking about my Muse one.

Again, its up to you as its your body dude, but have a good hard think first.

GOD!!! I hate that woman, my guy is OBESSED with her. He actually wanted a tat of her name and a love heart!!! I was so annoyed. He said he wouldnt even have his wifes name tattooed on him in case of divorce, but will have his kids names

yeah i am doing a apprentaship now, 3 long years left roughly tho =/.. but as soon as i finish im going to cali anyways, gunna get my name in with the big bois f tattooing =D tho my main strong point has always been cartoons, and games nad anime, it makes up like 2-3% of all tattoos done, so its hard when you use the styles i use to find clients, tho i am not looking as of now lol.. but i just hate people who are against them tbh, coz yeah 15 years ago it was looked down upon,but now its a true art form, and a "beautiful one" and hey if a girl cant take that im tattooed, then she aint worht it, i dont want someone looking down on me, if they ghot a problem and keep it to themselfs fine, if they dont wanna keep it to themself, ill give them a problem.. lol.. but generally i find girls like wow i love you tattoo, where did you get it, how much, did i hurt, so i say they can have a attractive nature to them

I like Kats tatoos, but she is a very butchy girl in my opinion. She is very very masculine to a fault, as well as egotistical, just like the the owner of miami ink.

I mean most "Good" tatoo artists are pretty humble. I would have to say though, if you are already have a lot of tatoos, or plan on getting some - I don't think that this will large impact on other people.

I love FF don't get me wrong, I've played the franchise for years. I just don't think characters are ever good tatoos. I think the symbols in the games are alot better, but this is pure opinion based. Don't let me disuade you, just remember.. Forever, is the word of the day.

I agree that she is quite egotistical, she comes across very arrogant and full of herself on that show i think, whether shes good at her job or not its no reason act high and mighty, well not in my oppinion anyway.
Thats quite well written considering you wrote one of them with your bad hand, i cant write anything with my left hand at all. How come u did it yourself though? Why not let the tattoo artist do it for you, that way they would be straight and even.

I have considered getting the Fender logo tattooed on my forearm, but I decided against it.

The other day, I bought this beautiful eagle belt buckle, and I since have been obsessed with eagles. I have since been thinking about getting an eagle done somewhere. It would be really out of character for me though, and given how quickly I grew out of the idea last time, I'll likely end up not bothering.

I love tattooed men, although Id draw the line at face tattoos And they'd need to be done well, there's nothing worse than a bady drawn tattoo, you're stuck with taht shot for life, so to the previous poster, if you want to get tattoo's get them, its your body and I really dont think if a girl really likes you she will be put off by afew tattoos xD

Okay so in February me and Steve are both going to get our new tattoos.

I'm going to be getting three.

The first one I really want is similar to that of the one on Lady Gaga's back:

When I first saw it was like: =0 That is so pretty!

I already have a guitar on my lower back so I'm going to have the vines sort of wrap around it.

I'm going to get a dragon (which is very petite and delicate looking with intricate detail) up the side of one of my arms and I'm still debating whether or not to get a small dragon or something else on the back of my neck.

I have this on my back with a red diamond... but coming up later this month I'm going to purchase another tatoo for my lady (her 18th tatoo) and I think I'll get a new symbol. The above is a XenoGears symbol (Nisan Cross) in which to me means something totally different than what the game attributes.

It's more of a fate symbol for me. I predestined to do something.. and will keep doing it till my last breath so to speak.

Now for me to get another tattoo it obviously has to mean quite a bit to me, so I'll post it when I get the idea of it later this week.

I love tattoos and I seriously want one myself.
Everyone that I have told I want one tells me to not get one becouse they think I just want to be cool and regret it later.
Which is why I say that if you take a tattoo just becouse it looks pretty then don't take it. Every tattoo should mean something atleast.

Yes that is the Vampire Knight symbol but the reason I would want that somewhere on me is becouse I love the way the pattern is placed and the rose is a important flower to me for reasons I'm not completely willing to share.

The problem is were should I actually put it. I thought of maybe my right or left shoulder, but not really sure.

I love tattoos and have two right now and getting one very soon. I only get tattoos that have a special meaning to me or something that has made an impact on my life, so don't judge or say rude comments about them. Thanks!

My first is FF related and it says "Embrace Your Dreams" with angel wings on the side.

My second tattoo is on my wrist and it says "Be Safe" in white ink. I love it because its barely noticeable, no one ever sees it.

For my third tattoo, Im getting another FF related tattoo. Its going to be a ankle bracelet, with charms hanging off. The charms are going to represent each main character from Final Fantasy 13, for example Lightning is going to be a pink lightning bolt. Im still trying to come up with charms for each character, if you have any ideas, plz share them. The characters Im putting are: Snow, Hope, Fang, Serah, Sazh, Lightning and Vanille. Im getting this tattoo bc I have had a really really crappy year or two and the only thing that has taken my mind off of it was Final Fantasy 13, and I really like all the characters. Plus only I will know what each charm means and no one else, unless I tell them.

I'm going to be getting a rose and rose vines wrapped around the arm of the guitar soon as well. Just need to save up a bit and get the guy I want to do it booked in.
