Tattoos

I have had my first one nearly finished off, the tribal wings are fully black, all i have to get done now is the shading to give the cross some depth, and recently [as in yesterday] i had my nephew's name (nathan) on the right side of my torso, [between my armpit and my hip, but closer to my armpit] and that was bloody excrutiating

I want to get a small tatoo on my shoulder of either the sun/moon or the Japanese kanji for strength. And/or perhaps a few small stars on my hand area.

Mom gets in the way of this, of course. :P She says the only way she'll let me get tatooed this young is if we both get one of the strength kanji, to symbolize all we've been through together, since that harbors more meaning.
 
None. =\ Hopefully soon i'll get one. I'm thinkgin about getting "I am Jacks..." because its a quote from Fight Club(my favorite movie) and my first name is jack.
 
well i got a skull n cross bones on my chest as a pain test. and im getting a arm piece,,, tongiht,, hopefully.. ill posts pics when im done
 
im thinking of getting a tattoo of cloud, zack and sephiroth in some sort of fight scene all down my arm, any ideas of where i can get some pics from? for inspiration etc?

and maybe ff7 cid aswell

As for pics, there'll probably no be many of all 3 together, unless perhaps one from the Nibelhiem incident. Perhaps still shots of Last Order or Crisis Core might help for inspiration.

As for Cid, where would you want him? I'm not sure what stance he'd look best in, probably his FF7 artwork, or perhaps with his spear out and looking angry.
 
Id advise you not to get that tattooed on you. Your gunna have that forever man, do u really want to have computer game characters on your arm for the rest of your life?
Its your choice but id urge you to think it over.

im getting the mario 1+ and instdeath mushrooms on my wrists, so life and death and right and left arm, coz even if i grow out of games, they will always be a part of me and ill never regret it,, i see tattoos as more of a journal of things important to you or that where important in your life, not only thing that you liike NOW
 
Get the number 666 as a tattoo. That would be a killer :wacky:
In a more serious note, lagunasdream is right, computer game characters scare away the chicks. No really, it's not a good idea. When you grow out of games and stuff you'll be embarrased. Not nice. But
 
hmm, not nececerrally, ... n i do, i have the 666 in a circle on the back of my right hand on the fleshy bit between my thumb and index finger, but that scarification not a tattoo

I dont like any of them tbh. They all just seem really lame. But thats my oppinion though.

No. Just don't. Tattoos are forever, they'll scare away girls, and not to be modern or sound like commoner or something, but honestly, you'll only attract the freaks, and I mean like, weird piercings all over their body freaks or tattoo all over their body freaks. Basically people that make little children cry.

I'd advise you heavily not to do it, LD and Laro are indeed, correct. I'll be honest, tattoos can look good, but not the over the top ones. Stick with something plain and simple, and if it has something related to FF, and get something that is simple, like the logo (excluding the title) and just the outlines, but even that I can't gurantee will be all that.

n no look on google at pics of Kat Von D and masuimi max, there gawjass, and have LOADS of tattoos, doesnt make them freaks,, i have piercing and tats n shit, that doesnt make me a freak.. your just blind to people that arnt "comformed" like you

I quite like kats tattoos. But imo theres a huge difference between hers and the ones shown above, theyre artistic and far better done that the ones linked. I would never call someone a freak for having them, thats just pure ignorance imo. I have 4 anyway. I just think theres a nice tattoo and then theres shite tattoos, but its all oppinion really innit.

Well tattoos and piercing don't make you beautiful, it's a fact. It only outlines your character which is probably fun, outgoing and cool. I don't say myself that tattoos are for freaks, I just say that skin is precious and whatever you put on it stays. Not healthy.
I would like a tattoo myself but not all over my body. Just a little one which would be hiding underneath my clothes. But a game character is a bit childish :P you'll be 80 and you look at your arm and see wrinkly Cloud laughin at ya. Get a tattoo if you want but I suggest something else.
 
No, no I don't have a problem with all tattoos. I think some look quite cool. I didn't even say they were bad. xD

I was in fact, planning on getting one, a small one however on my the upper part of my left arm.

I'm just saying it is when there is a ridiculous amount or a silly looking tattoo. It just looks like a desperate call for attention and makes people seem they want to express themselves to the whole community despite the point the majority don't care.

EDIT: Express yourself, I'm not saying don't, but when not everyone cares there's no point in going through the pain of getting a tattoo for them. Let is be expressed through less painful or scarring methods.

Character tatoos are really hard to pull off for tatoo artists. I have a tatoo on my back and I have to get it touched up every 2 years. Character tatoos mean you would have to get it touched up a lot more than that. Ink fades.. If you get a red filler it turns to pink most of the time after a few months.

Also to find a good tatoo artist who can do characters, it would be pretty freakin hard in my opinion. This is forever as well.. although it might sound cool now, think about later on.

I hope this is a joke =P Tats are fine in my book, and no they won't drive away girls, unless they are prudes. So think about what you are getting good and hard.
