Survivor 2010?

I was actually gonna try and participate in one, one of these years, but if no one's all that up for running it, I'll give it a go again on planning up the competitions, games, fights, rules, favoritism, flaming, prizes, etc...

It's gonna take some time to kick in, but...if we focus on maybe like a end of March/beginning of April time period, would I get enough people to sign up?
 
Busta, I don't mind running/helping run it. I took part last year and I'm not really interested in taking part this year. I think Mark might be interested too so we can do it if you want to take part. o_O
 
I'll be more than happy to watch survivor from the sidelines this year, dont really wish to participate in it this year, but I'm still all for it running again :)

My first year here, I wouldn't mind taking part if you are short people.

Or even if you are not short of a few people, I'll still put my name up if it happens :D

Yeah, Vikki, if you, Mark, and Mitsuki wanna run it this year, I'll gladly join as a participant since I've helped run 2 of them haven't been in one yet as a participant. :mrgreen:
 
Busta, Jessica wants to run it too. I'm not sure if Mitsuki and Mark want to though now. XDDD I'm getting a bit confused.

But Jessica and I are definitely interested. :hmmm:

I'd love to take part. I have a lot more experience, devotion to tasks, and time on my hands this year
 
Dagger, I think that if you and Jessica want to come up with most of the running of it, and Mark and Mitsuki aren't up for it, they will no doubt be there as helping hands to do the administrative things and the whole set-up of Survivor.

And m.bison, I'm not sure what about Survivor, but yeah we need to make sure that whoever signs up for it to participate is serious and determined to finish it and not just want to back out after Day 1.

So yes, Survivor IV will take place.
 
Is there a thread that describes exactly what Survivor is? It sounds interesting :hmmm:
 
Survivor is more or less like the TV programme. There are 3 teams, they get given challenges and the teams that lose must vote a member off.
There rules are less strict too, there were no rules last year until someone complained and they got changed. I'm not sure how strict they will be this time around, but flaming is allowed.

There should also be some archives of last year's survivor.
 
Survivor is a Reality TV series that puts a buncha random people on an island and they have to complete challenges as Teams and as individuals in order to be the last one remaining.

How we do it is take the total number of sign-ups, split them into like 2-4 teams. Then we put them in one isolated spot on the board where they can't see any other part of the forums and cannot communicate with any other members on the site. The rest of the site can see what is going on in the Survivor Forum though, they just can't talk back and forth.

The coordinators will post challenges that the teams need to complete and when the challenge is over the losing teams get to vote off one of their members that they feel is the weakest link, or the biggest threat.
 
I'm definitely up for it, but there's a chance that my activity over April will become quite sporadic but I should be alright for it.

Also, the flaming rule should stick regardless of whether people complain or not.
