[SU/D] - Spirit Shards (New)

Urgh, I would have loved to bring back my previous character from the previous run. I see the applications are closed though. If there are any need for additional role players, I'll be keen. Otherwise, I'll just be reading in on the story as it progresses.

Oh Yeah, sorry. I tend to copy and paste my bio after writing it on Word, must of forgot to delete it before pasting again:P

Vircon, your bio is now accepted. Thank you for making the changes! I'll add your character to the front page.

Just so everyone knows I'm gonna start the RP next Saturday or Sunday (my time) so if everyone can get their bio's up by then (including myself) I'd appreciate it :)

Feel free to talk to me if you have any ideas for your character in the plot etc

Hm.... i kinda noticed, but.... Vircon's character is born in Relucesco, but is an Umbran..... How does that work?

Edit >_> *Character plot reasons*

Although most of what I said is in his history anyway lmfao

Name: Ireth Mithricil

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Home Planet: Umbra

Home Town: City of Magi

Race: Tremerca – Tremerca are often referred to as “rabbit people” due to their ears. Their ears are much like the ears of a rabbit, as they are long and tall and rest on the head. Due to this, they have extraordinary hearing. However, this also poses a problem, as the slightest noise can wake them or bother them much more than it would a normal Human. Therefore, you will often see a Tremerca with a large white puff in their ears to suppress their hearing.

The race is somewhat magical in nature, but not extraordinarily so. They can use magic to a certain degree, but odd are that no one will ever see a Tremerca as a powerful Mage. (This is also due to Umbra not exactly being known for Magic.) One of the other traits that make this race stand out is that they’re not very tall in comparison to other races. In fact, the tallest known Tremerca is 5’9. They are fast and agile creatures, but because of this they are rather frail. A fat Tremerca is an oxymoron.

Tremerca have slight Relucesco blood in them, which is why they can use magic to a certain degree. However, most of it has died out, which is why a Tremerca that is able to use magic is becoming more and more rare. Odds are, most people will see a Tremerca on the battlefield with a sword or a lance. Tremerca that can use Magic are typically more far up on the food chain, and don’t press themselves with most issues.

However, that also stems from the fact that by nature, Tremerca are usually quiet. This isn’t to say that they’re shy. They simply prefer to look, listen, study, think, and scheme rather than speak. While Tremerca aren’t violent… odds are, if there is a scheme or a plot going on, it would be a safe bet to assume that a Tremerca is behind it. It would not be wise to trust one.

Ireth is pretty tall for her race, but due to her race not being very tall… to most people she’s just short. Standing in at a mere 5’2, most people she meets tend to tower over her by a lot. If one counts her ears to her height, she stands in at around 5’6. Her hair is a grayish kind of silver, and it reaches beyond her back. Ireth prides her hair, and does whatever she can to keep it straight and clean no matter what. The length of her hair is also very long, as it goes down to the bottom of her thighs.

Her eyes are one of her unique features. Her right eye is blue where her left eye is red. This attracts a lot of attention to her, but as one of the rare females of Umbra… that’s not a good thing. While she loves having unique eyes, it brings her more trouble than they’re worth. She weighs about 94 pounds (slightly below average for a female Tremerca). Just like the rest of her race, she’s small and slender.

For clothing, Ireth wears a long dress that goes down below her knee. She also wears a long woolen scarf at all times. Not because she’s cold, she just happens to love the way it looks on her. Her arms are usually covered by the sleeves on her dress, but the sleeves are detachable, so she’ll often be seen without them. However, more often than not, her arms will be covered when she’s not alone.

Personality: To say that Ireth is unhappy with her life would be an understatement. As a Female, she’s had it drilled into her head from a very young age that she is good for nothing more than breeding. As such, she has never been happy with her life because she feels as if it’s not her own. Therefore, feelings of happiness are not only rare, she doesn’t know how to react to them because she’s not sure how one is supposed to react to them.

She asks for permission to do anything. No matter how small or how big, she’ll ask before she can do it. Because of the way she’s been brought up to serve others, she feels as if she doesn’t have a right to do things on her own. She’s very confused about playing her role to breed more men and living her own life the way she wants. Ireth knows she has a job to do… but she doesn’t want to do it. She also knows there is a much larger world out there… but she isn’t sure if she wants to see it.

It wouldn’t be a stretch at all to claim that she hates men. How could she not? She’s endured so much because of them, been treated badly by them, and being controlled by them that she can’t stand being near them. However, she doesn’t have a choice… just like everything else. It makes her angry that she constantly have to live up to the standards of men she doesn’t know. Yet she knows she can’t do anything about it, and if she tries, she’ll be punished. In fact, she’s so scared of being punished that she’s often scared of… just about anything she isn’t familiar with.

All in all, Ireth is a rather confused, unhappy, and imaginative young lady. She’s never had a friend in her life, and in all reality, wouldn’t know what to do if she had one. She’s very polite (because she’s been raised to be), and has an inner desire to try and make Umbra a better place. However, she doesn’t believe she can do anything.

First impression: Most people from Umbra would simply see her as a slab of meat they could do anything with. After all, she’s a woman among a race of mostly men.

Specialty: Spellsword – A mixture of a Mage and a Warrior. She is a mixture of both, a master of neither, so to speak… while she longs to be a Mage, she just doesn’t believe it to be possible. She can use both Fire and Lightning, but due to her limited training, the fact that her Race isn’t the most adept in magic, and the fact that Umbra isn’t known for Mages, she’s not very powerful with either.
(Due to the nature of her magic, water is her ultimate weakness. If she’s wet, she can’t use fire because of it, and she can’t use lightning or it’ll only hurt her.)

Weapons: Pictured above, Ireth uses two katanas; one being red, the other being blue. With the red katana, she can shoot fireballs and streams of fire with it. With her blue katana, she can shoot streams of lightning from it. She can do the same with her hands, but the katana’s help her direct it.

Armor: None, Ireth is far too small to wear armor. It’ll only weigh her down to the point where she can’t move.

Skills: Cooking – She learned how to cook at a young age as part of her training to be made into a desirable wife.

History: Ever since Ireth can remember, her entire life has been controlled. Her caretaker/Father is a Human who took her in out of the “goodness” of his own heart and has since then done nothing but control every aspect of her life. He has raised her to only speak when spoken to, and to always be as polite as possible to any man she has ever met. Her schooling and her entire upbringing wasn’t for her as much as it was for any potential husband she could have.

In school, boys picked on her and called her names. In middle school those same boys made advances towards her, and in high school they attempted to grab and grope at her against her will. Being a girl, she could never do or say anything about it. No one would ever take her side. They saw her as nothing more than a lesser being they could do with as they pleased.

After begging her Father for ages to practice magic and combat, he let her. However, he only did so that perhaps she would do her “womanly duties” if she was pleased. She turned out to be rather good at what she did, but her training was cut short due to constant complaints from Men who saw her train and the fact that she still refused to date a man. Eventually, her Father would become upset with her and start beating her.

He showed her what women were supposed to do by forcing her to watch a woman be “used” at a local whore house and threatened the same fate on her if she continued to misbehave. Eventually, she gave in and started to date men, but she wouldn’t let them touch her. She would always run away or scream until they stopped trying to have their way with her. This brought shame onto her Father, who would then beat her for it later.

To this day she hasn’t slept with a man, and to this day she still refuses to date men. However, her Father still controls her by locking her alone in her room all the time. She’s deathly afraid that one day he’ll make due on his promise to turn her into a common day whore… but she tries to hold her head high… but it becomes harder and harder to do so. Ireth finds herself saddened and depressed… and not much cheers her up.

When she does go out, she tries to disguise herself as a man... without much success. Most find that her voice is too light or she walks in a way that’s too feminine.

She just hopes that one day she can escape her fate.

Yeah don't worry about it. Talked it over with Toni to make it work out this way, cause part of it was character plot and some other stuff, but it all good.

Ringo, as I said I love Ireth! She's accepted  I'll add her to the front page and the info page later today

There are no more spots in the RP. I'm not longer having the Guardians as available characters. Sorry :(

Thanks anyway!

Just gotta fill in the themes and "Other". :reptar:

Race: Demon

do4Cv.jpg

Appearance:

  • Eyes: From what could be seen at rare moments, Sinore bares dim-grey eyes. Due to his hair falling over his eyes, no much can be noted about what shape they are or even the eyelashes and such.
  • Hair: Sinore’s hair is measured out to be at least shoulder-length, but it could be longer due to the fact that no one has ever got close enough to him to determine the exact length. His hair is very long in front, back, and at all sides. At the very tips all around, are dips of crimson red, and the remainder of the hair is pitch black. Sinore chooses it to run freely rather than tie it up in some kind of ponytail or something.
  • Skin: Sinore isn’t much of a day person. Like, he could be, but just chooses not to. Due to this fact, his skin is rather pale, and almost looks like he’s a walking zombie or something.
  • Height: Five foot five. Nothing really special about that.
  • Weight: Sinore weights 110lbs, which is translated into 50kg. He’s very skinny, but also bears a good deal of core strength. He has hardly any body fat, maybe just bits and pieces here and there.
  • Attire: Sinore’s clothing isn’t really anything that stands out. He wears an all-black outfit right down to the nitty gritty. His pants are made out of a special leather that doesn’t make all that cringing noise when leather is rubbed against bare skin constantly. It’s soft to the touch, and comfortable to wear. To hold up the pants, he wears a sturdy belt. Sinore wears a black, sleeveless-shirt that has a mark of a red lightning bolt going from the top left all the way to the lower center. Finally, Sinore’s outfit is finished off with a black trench coat.
  • Accessories: Being not much of an accessory person, Sinore doesn’t really care about what else he brings to the party, but one thing that is very obvious is the gauntlet-like glove he ALWAYS wears. It’s made out of some kind of sturdy material, It locks around Sinore’s left hand not by choice, but it senses his demonic aura

Personality:

When unstable being meets confused, and lovable jerk, you get one fucked-up personality.

It is true that Sinore stays true to his demonic heritage, and at times can seem cruel beyond imagination, but he may surprise you. Underneath the thick exterior of Sinore there lays a heart of some kind. He tries to hide that side of him with cruel attitude, and questionable actions, but when faced in the proper situation, the more gentle side of Sinore emerges.

Sinore doesn’t really like to share when anybody. Yes, he is one of those loner-I’ll-do-it-myself kind of guys, but what else can you expect from a Demon? All his life he’s been ridiculed in a sense, and from that stemmed a certain emotional wall that kept him from getting too close to anybody for any unneeded reason.

Sinore will obviously state that he does enjoy a good game of sparring. He actually has a good attitude when doing this, and it’s the only thing that he could think of that could actually keep him in a Zen state-of-mind. It’s weird, but Sinore also enjoys played chess, and drinking herbal tea. It’s definitely weird because who ever thought of a demon with a nasty attitude liking tea and such? Well, Sinore is the first one in history to like such things.

There’s one thing that Sinore doesn’t like, and that’s when people push him to do things that would seem disrespectful in his eyes. It’s like if someone was forcing him into something that he didn’t want to do, he’d take that as a slap to the face or otherwise. In that respect, Sinore gets angry. When Sinore reaches a certain point to his anger, there is hardly any stopping him. The only thing that can keep him from harming others in a fatal way would be for him to regain his composure or something. However, with Sinore’s little disregard about himself or others, that would be a rare occurrence. He just has to remember to keep his cool.

If you were to see Sinore in battle, you would see him do any trick in the book. He can fight clean, dirty, or a mix of both. He takes no shame in the way he fights because in the end, it gets the job done. That’s all that Sinore really cares about. Though, at times people seem to think that he’s a bit of a nut job with all the different tactics he uses, and how he utilizes them in battle. He could toy with an enemy for some time, and not even be consciously aware of what he’s doing. It could very well be his downfall, so that’s one thing he needs to keep in mind.

Simore utilizes his affiliation of the Chaos nature with his fighting techniques. He can utilize different forms of portals for a whiplash kind of strategy, or a full on assault of different blasts, beams, and rays. It all just depends on how Sinore approaches a certain enemy, and what the environment is.

First Impressions: Conniving. Untrustworthy. Just a couple words that can describe first reactions when someone meets Sinore. It might be due to the fact that Sinore is a Demon or maybe just the notion of fear he brings to his being, but whenever someone meets him, the fear is uncanny, and the way they react is undoubtedly in anxiety, and pain. The way Sinore greets a first-timer(person he meets for the first time)doesn’t help the reaction, either. He reverts to his demonic nature, and as such, gives off the notion that he is an evil bastard.

Speciality:

Blood Lightning

A very close relative to the Chaos nature, this is an ability that stems from darkness and a very tainted form of electricity. Sinore is the only one who can use it as it is his own unique birthright. His ancestors were the creators of this power. The name itself stems from the blood that was spilled over such a power, as it is nothing to be taken lightly. Blood Lightning can be manipulated into two different elements - darkness and electricity. It can even be as far as being the only compound element in the Demon race.

It’s debatable that Blood Lightning is considered magic because it doesn’t stem from any form of magic, but the power it can bring to the table raises questions. With the limited users, there hasn’t been much opportunity for anyone to research it, and actually deem a limit to it, but from what has been written in the history books, the user can conjure up storms and from that the name “Blood Lighting” comes into play, as the user’s own blood is required to summon up this form of lightning.

It’s apparent that there are at least some limits placed on this power as it does require the user’s blood(in this case, Sinore’s). It’s true that this might be the only limit, but when one runs low on blood supply, the odds are that the user is most likely going to be in a sense.

Blood Lightning can be implemented into any form of solid weapons, such as swords or anything with a steel blade. Due to the fact that Blood Lightning requires the user’s blood(Sinore’s blood in this case), the blood has to be placed carefully along the blade of said steel weapon, and from that stems the aspects of darkness and electricity.

While no specific techniques are accompanied with this action, the fact that Blood Lightning changes the properties of the weapon itself, and each swing can produce a small amount of electricity that can be transferred to a nearby source by a constant wave-like motion. In other words, the electricity gathers along the steel blade, and then when the sword itself is swung, all of the said gathered electricity follows it through, and transferrs a wave--like beam of lightning to the nearest source(enemy). However, due to the fact that this is still in the required state of needing blood, the amount of power in the lightning is severely low.

Demon Forms:

First form:

When Sinore enters his first transformation, a cloud of black and reddish-white smoke surrounds him. With lightning in and out striking the outside, He undergoes his transformation. Before anything can be seen, Sinore’s eyes flash a red shade, and then it happens. The cloud of smoke tightens, and as it does, the energy from the lightning and such get absorbed into Sinore’s body. The force from the cloud is so great, it tears off Sinore’s torso attire, and he is left shirtless. Furthermore, large wings grow out of his back. Horns form on the sides of his head, and they would appear to be in a swirl type of appearance.

When the cloud of blackness disappears, the first thing that you would see is that Sinore’s skin has gained color. To some strange phenomenon, Sinore gets a tan. His eyes are a darker and deeper shade of red, and his hair has gotten longer in the back with the front of it(the part that was covering his eyes) completely gone. On another note, Sinore grew about seven inches. His wings seem to be significantly long, and tall. Sinore keeps everything else. His sword is now hanging off of the side of his body due to his back being overtaken by his large wings.

Final Form:

When Sinore ascends into his final form, the transformation is evident in both size and power. First, the skies darken, and lightning strikes on the ground in a controlled frenzy. When the lightning hits the ground, it does so that it creates the demonic sigil of the Dark Prince himself. From the corners of the demonic sigil shoots rays of dark light(a black beam of light) into the sky to bring forth a demonic gate of hell itself. It is from that, the essense of Lucifer himself grants Sinore the final form power, and thus begins the transformation.

First comes a foggy smoke covering Sinore which forms his pale tan colored skin. His horns rise upward, and dent backwards. Sinore goes down to a six foot height.

The black light then strikes down on Sinore which comes at him in the form of his Blood Lightning which then forms a layer of dark brown armor that literally speaks of the devil as it bears engravings of Lucifer’s face around the shoulders, arms, and chest. A slight engraving on the mid-section, but it’s pretty vague. Sinore grows two extra eyes on his face that are all colored Crimson Red. On his shoulder plates, chest(and mid-section) plates, and arm graves there are stone-like eyes on them. It almost resembles rubies. A part of the armor covers Sinore’s face right up to the middle of his nose.

Sinore’s wings are shaped more like demon wings rather than angelic wings like in his first demon form. He has a tail in his final form which is rather medium length. It’s long, don’t get me wrong, but just not incredibly long. A dark red, almost misty-like aura surrounds Sinore at all times. Kubai Sezubo is connected to Sinore’s left arm as he can grow it out of either hand; left or right.

Weapon:

Kubai Sezubo(Black Despair);

A sword forged from the depths of hell itself. It comes in an all-black-with-red-trimmings appearance. The entire length of the sword(as a whole) is forty-five inches, and in feet, that would be almost four feet. The weight is light - very light. If a number was placed, the weight would be somewhere along the lines of 25lbs(11.34Kg). It’s due to this light weight that allows Sinore to incorporate Kubai Sezubo with his quite, and agile style of fighting.

The blade of Kubai Sezubo is pitch black, as is the majority of the sword, but along the hilt there is a pattern of crimson diamonds that are embedded into the hilt. Lastly, though not least Important, is a chain that hangs at the very bottom of the sword. The sheath that it comes with is also black. Kubai Sezubo rests on Sinore’s back as it is pretty much latched into his demonic aura which in essence makes itself glued to him until battle time.

Armour:

Humanoid Form: No armor.
First Demon Form: No Armor.
Final Demon Form: See transformation in Specialty.

Skills:

Transformation:
A very common skill among the demon race. It’s pretty much how they can expand into their true demon forms as each demon who is born on Umbra takes a more human form to blend into the crowd in a sense.

Flight:
Being of the demon race, Sinore automatically has the ability to fly. In his human-like form, Sinore can fly at normal speeds with a limit of three minutes without taking a break(3 posts). In his first form, Sinore can fly at one and a half times his normal speed for three minutes strait, but at five minutes with a break in-between times. In his final form however, Sinore can fly at triple his flying speeds, but only if he chooses to. He is limited to one minute of flying time at that rate, but can go seven minutes at 1.6 flying speeds.

Hand-to-Hand Combat:
Being able to throw in his fitness into battle, Sinore combines levels of acrobatics, adequate accuracy, and hand-eye coordination for the fighting he does hand-to-hand. He might not be a pure master at it, but there is no way in hell he is a beginner at it, that’s for sure.

Demonic Aura:
As a barer of the demon race, Sinore has the skill to bare a demonic aura. Each respective demon has their own unique aura, and it just so happens that Sinore’s is nothing special(yet). However, there is one thing that is quite noticeable about it. His demonic aura shines a deep, dark red color. It appears to be in a fog-like appeal.

Adequate Swordsmanship:
Another battle-related skill that Sinore can do. Even though his only sword is his Kubai Sezubo, he is quite proficient at using it. Though, Sinore can use any sword or bladed weapon. He’s trained quite consistently to be good at handling more than one type of sword just in case if he were to get more than one, However, the one sword he has is more than enough, so why have more?

Unique Blood:
In the partnership that Sinore’s Blood and his main ability Blood Lightning have with each other, Sinore’s blood has a unique attribute to it. While normal Demons have the normality of the demon race’s blood, but due to the fact that Sinore’s whole power revolves around his own blood, his is unique in its own way. Like, it hold a special property that is indeed specific and quite valuable(in a sense) to electricity. It’s like the conductor for lightning itself, and as such, his blood is unique.

Impatience:
Self-explanatory in its own right, Sinore has about much patience as a fat kid has for not getting his cake. There is no waiting for this guy. If something doesn’t happen right away, he gets pissed, and pretty pissed at that. It’s one of those skills that Sinore has that is rather embarrassing to some people, but not like he gives a rat’s ass about what others think,

Athleticism:
Yeh, pretty self-explanatory too. Sinore is fit, and pretty damn fit too. He’s not a bulky person, but no way is he the type to be fat. He can handle enduring adventures and can take a beating too. His stamina is above average, and strength is at that level too. The only thing that this doesn’t cover is his personality traits, but oh well. It’s not like Sinore can’t help that. This is just a casual skill that allows Sinore to do flippy tricks, and other acrobatic-like things. Oh, and it helps his build. So, yeah there’s that too.

History:

Not very uncommon for a Demon to be born out of the Tree of Life. But while this may be true, the Demon race are widely discriminated by the other races among Umbra. It could be due to the fact that they are of different cloths or just that the other races fear that the Demon race could one day take over, and overthrow Umbra, but that remains to be seen. Just the main reason for the Demon race being discriminated against is purely because they’re different and pose a threat.

This is the deal with Sinore.

Born out of the Tree of Life AS A DEMON, Sinore was immediately deemed a nascence, and over the course of his younger years, Sinore endured a lot of this. Not treated fairly, getting the lower hand of everyone’s mental beat down. The cycle continued for numerous years. It wasn’t until just five years ago(Sinore at human age 16) where Sinore found a chance to break free into a small group of teenagers who were being shipped off to the City of Magi. That is about the only place that they will take any race without judging their place on Umbra. As long as they were willing to work, and perform at a perfection status and nothing less, then there would be no discriminating.

About fourteen months Into his studies at the City of Magi Learners Academy of History, Sinore encountered something that took his interest at first glance: The Shards of the Spirit Gods. Sinore was in the Library of the Academy, and this is when he stumbled upon the book that took not only his interest, but for the next year, it would be all that he obsessed over.

During this time, Sinore began to obsess so much that it took over his being and he began to outcast himself from socialism, and just spent all of his time in the library studying everything about these gods.

When Sinore would dig deeper and deeper, he would stumble upon something else. He accidently stumbled upon the war that broke out so many years ago between the two gods that were said to create Umbra and Relucesco. And in that process, the shards of the spirit gods came to be. At least, that’s what is said in the book.

This legend awoke something in Sinore. Not only did his eyes become filled with darkness, but his obsession grew and grew until it completely changed him. He now was determined to collect all of these shards, and claim full control of their power. This realization woke something else in Sinore, but it wasn’t no life dream, but his hidden demonic powers that laid dormant until that very moment.

Up to date, Sinore lives on the outskirts of the City of Magi in a cottage with a vast collection of different history books about Relucesco, Umbra, and the myths that surround both worlds.

Thanks, Draco, for asking me in.

I wanted to draw my character appearance for a change, but I realized she looks more suited to be a guardian. That's not a compliment.

I'm really sorry that I have to stop here for now. Will continue and finish by tomorrow latest. Likely earlier.

Done. Do look it over :D

Name:

Azula

Age:
24

Gender:
Female

Home Planet:
Umbra

Home Town:
-Unknown-

Race:
Spawn

Born from the Tree of Life, Spawns can almost be considered 'Mistakes' if not for the fact that majority are as normal as can be - for the most part anyway. The only differentiating feature is their ability wield a partially visible physical force to meet their various needs.

This 'partially visible physical force' is later called the 'Blur' despite the initially colloquial naming. Depending on the Spawn, the 'Blur' can be used in various ways - be it in battle or for other purposes. This will be elaborated upon under weapons.

A general trait of Spawns is their albino-like appearance (white hair, deathly pale complexion) except they do not get red easily under sunlight - if any. Their eyes are naturally red, and has a slight glow that is easy to recognize. Dress code to be elaborated upon.

Appearance:
Argenta.jpg

Azula fits the stereotypical mold of a Spawn. Red mantle, red hood; deathly pale complexion, silver hair. She is of average height (comparing her fellow Spawns), at about 167cm. Her hood is always drawn unless required otherwise, and it has came to be an image associated with her person.

As in the image, many other Spawns wear similar attire, excepting the necklace which Azula personally owns. The hood can be drawn even lower to cast a shadow over her face, and emphasize the glow of her eyes - it doesn't have any especial effect save to scare the easily frightened.

Personality:
The life of a Spawn meant a life of relative isolation and distrust. Umbra may have it's fair share of people who exude malice, but for some reason, many tend to think rather negatively of Spawns. Owing to this case, Azula developed to be a sarcastic loner who seeks solace in her exclusion from social situations.

She tends to be awkward in ordinary conversations, and is only able to converse properly by being sarcastic... or fighting. It is in battle that Spawns shine and express themselves. To Azula, fighting was an art in itself. It is her tool of expression, and she always strive to portray an elegant charm in her strength - to mixed responses, really.

First Impressions:
(Honestly, first impressions ought to be different based on the different circumstances under which they meet Azula.)

For the most part, many consider it scary to have dealings with a Spawn largely due to their eyes and their ability to use the 'Blur'. Similarly, people tend to be guarded around Azula, preferring to be more careful with their vocabulary and actions. 'One wrong move, and my neck may be snapped' is a common thought that passes a person's mind whenever they encounter Azula. Her sarcasm doesn't help matters either.

Weapons:
The 'Blur'

This is a partially invisible force of nature of certain color (very similar to the 'blur' one sees above a flame) that somehow links itself to Spawns upon birth. It's nature well studied enough for detailed explanations other than that it is physical in nature and only Spawns exhibit impressive skills in using it. The color of the 'Blur' varies from person to person - Azula's Blur is red. It does not manifest unless specifically summoned by Azula herself.

The Blur is limited to a maximum range of 5 meters around Azula. It can be used to propel Azula a little higher in the air, or cushion her fall, but extreme heights are, of course, impossible to reach. The maximum height possible is about 3 meters - and that's with some luck.

The Blur does not weigh down on Azula, but floats around her whenever summoned. Azula can use the Blur to swing about or mold it into a weapon. Although it is capable of hitting hard, it inevitably breaks apart when met with a physical force (whether at Azula's behest, or from an enemy attack).

In other words:

Case 1:

Azula summons Blur. Swings Blur at enemy's head. Upon impact, enemy stumbles. Blur breaks apart.

Case 2:

Azula summons Blur. Uses Blur to deflect enemy attack. Upon impact, Blur vanishes. Enemy's weapon repelled.

Case 3:

Azula summons Blur. Uses it to reach for greater heights by making it into a block that she uses as a step. Upon force exerted on the Blur, it vanishes.

That should be clear now. One physical impact from the adversary, no matter how weak will break the Blur. Azula will have to call another Blur to be used, but that takes some good reflexes to be able to work in sync - and there can only be one Blur at any given time.

The summoning of the Blur expends the Spawn's mental energy. Upon complete depletion, the Spawn loses consciousness and cannot be awakened by any means for at least two hours. When reaching depletion, the Spawn may experience severe headaches which should make combat impossible.

The Blur's physical nature disallows Azula to use it to protect against magical attacks, but it is one of the best protection against physical attacks.

Costs 1% mental energy per summon (No matter the size and force and obviously not something extreme like a planet). Azula regains 5% mental energy every 45 minutes.

Speciality:
'Blur' Manipulation

The physical nature of the Blur allows for its use as a weapon or as an additional helping hand. The level of manipulation again varies from Spawn to Spawn, but Azula specializes in the combat aspect of manipulation. She can create a temporary weapon out of the Blur to hit an enemy once, or use it as a shield to deflect any physical attack.

In other words, she can summon a Blur in the shape of a sword to slash at the enemy, lacerating him. Or she could summon a hammer to smash his head in. Anything is possible (without being too extreme, or overpowered, I assure you), but of course it has to be within her limits.

The Blur is purely physical in nature and deals no magical damage of any kind. Assuming an enchanted blade is being used against Azula, her Blur will not be able to deflect or parry any attacks, but it can hit the person wielding the blade. An enchanted armor makes no difference, however, as it will just be regarded as normal armor.

Armour:
None. Azula's pride and joy is her ability to protect herself solely with the Blur that she possesses. She may have had a few cuts and scars from time to time, but never a wound deeper than a superficial cut. The Blur can deflect most physical attacks, but some may not be deflected - depending on the opponent, and how much force he exerts.

Skills:
Acquired Poison Immunity

Azula had been spending years building up an immunity to various weak poisons such that she can now eat several weak poisons without harm. (Largely to avoid being poisoned by the paranoid people who desire to kill Spawns for their safety)

History:
No one knows how Azula came to be, and Azula tends to be rather quiet about it. Born of the Tree, Azula was quickly taken as a daughter of an old couple, who promptly gave her up when they realized she is a Spawn. Left alone as a baby, she was adopted by another old couple who didn't know her true nature until she was about 4 and started exhibiting her skill in wielding the Blur.

She was thrown out and somehow ended up being adopted briefly by a Spawn who taught her to be more skillful in using her Blur. The Spawn also helped build up her poison immunity, and does so for the next 10 years until several people poisoned this Spawn to death. Azula was lucky to have avoided the poisoning and didn't stay to help bury her foster parent - as the people were gathered around waiting to ambush her.

Wandering around, she meets another Spawn who helps clothe her, and provide shelter temporarily. A wanderer by nature, this Spawn decided to leave and deems Azula a burden. He left her at a home for Spawns and leaves.

Azula spends the next 9 years living under the radar until a few bullies threatened the home. She killed them by accident when in a rage, she swung out her Blur so hard and at such perfect angle. It wasn't intentional at all, but the deed was done. She was chased out, and later learns the home was burned down anyway.

Haunted by the guilt of having destroyed the home, she wanders around, living on wild herbs she picks (and poisons). This, she does for the next few years until the present time. She has visited various cities and villages, but never stays for long due to the stigma of being a Spawn.
