So since the award thingy has been added, there also have been members or maybe staff I don't know with 2 silver stars and such, can someone from the staff who has an idea explain how did they get the other silver star or is it a staff only thingy? :monster:
 
This is what I gathered from Jace:

The stars represent which usergroup you are in, but now they show if you are in multiple usergroups. One for being on staff, one for either Senior or Veteran Membership, and one for donating money as a Friend of FFF at least once sometime on FFF. LG has antoher also for being a Site Owner.

I don't think the donation feature works anymore. I think I recall LG saying he had removed it when he became the Site Owner.
 
So there's no way we can get the other star, you say? D= You should include the member who have been here for +3 years in "Friend of FFF" :wacky:
 
So the Gold star = Staff Silver = Veteran Where does the other silver star come from on staff, and who's donated money? :gasp:
 
Good. Someone brought the stars thing up.

In order to get a Vet's Star (the silver one, I believe), I was told, you have to have at least 1,000 posts and have been on FFF for over a year.

Rockman X has 501 posts and joined in January of 2007. Why does he have a star when I, who has 705 posts and joined in November of 2006, do not?
 
Because he use to have over 2000 posts before he was banned.

That was during FFF's darkages when Darkblade ruled over FFF. It's actually a copper colored star. You don't want to donate to that guy anyways. :wacky:
 
I thought you gained a star for reaching the Senior status and another star for reaching Veteran. I certainly don't remember donating money at any point on FFF...and I have two stars, plus a bronze one.
 
1 silver star for senior and veteran status individually, a goldish one for being on staff, depending on positions you get more goldish stars (admin/site owner, RPG mod/mod for example)
 
Copper Stars = Friend of FFF
Silver Stars = Senior Member, Veteran Member
Gold Stars = Site Owner, Admin, Gmod, Section Mod, RPG Director

Since the Donation is now obsolete, I may consider removing the Friend of FFF usergroup.

Also, EVERY single member who is a Senior Member is a Vet Member as well right now, I am wondering if maybe the Senior Member group is a bit redundant...

I still don't get why some people have two silver stars. If you get a silver star for being a senior and a silver star for being a Vet. Then all Vet members should have two silver stars right? :confused:
 
Yea, according to that I should have three stars. One for Friend of FFF, one for senior member, one for vet member... but I don't. Not that it really matters but I still don't like the idea of Friend of FFF being deleted.

by the way I find it funny that Aztec is Friend of FFF the dude got banned, 1,2 . . . umm . . how many times? o_O >_>

Because I used to have over 2000 posts. At some point last year the post count got reset, thus why I only have 500-whatever.

I can't believe this is actually something people are griping over, they're just stars ffs. If you want one so badly, just keep posting until you get one.
