Yeah, I've totally been in the mood to make something Death Note, so that's why I suggested it. Not to mention with how popular it is...I think it'd be fun for some of our graphically inclined members.

And yes, congrats for winning Mark! Your sig of Rydia is so very lovely!
 
Death Note sounds interesting, I think I can whip up something good for that. Would be interesting because I know there are a lot of Death Note fans.

AOTW are easy. That and not many do it anyway, so it's just my luck. xD I finally took a break from it though. I don't wanna make Obama or McCain all pretty-like. =/

Non-rectangular sig...hmm, nice one. And now that RandomPokes (Hana) is back, this will definitely be interesting, assuming that she enters. =]

Can we do an abstract theme sometime soon? It would be nice to see what everyone can come up with.
 
Theme: Sprites.
Rules: Animation and transparency is allowed. Must also fit within forum sig limits and size requirements
Additional rules for this week: You must making your signature using a sprite as the focus. (example signature)

You just had to make sure to use an example, huh? xD Where do you even get sprites? I searched high and low for a good quality one when I had that call-out with GFX Guilder, so I finally stuck with the actual 'Sprite' drink which turns out to be a 'sprite' too. :P
 
I hope the guidelines for this week are clear for everyone ^^ I noticed we hadn't done a sprite theme, and I thought it would be really interesting to try something different...

...I'm just worried that by making the themes more interesting / challenging, that casual GFXers will be scared off...but at the same time, if we pick broader themes, people criticize, so it's like lose-lose =/
 
Sorry it took me so long to get the voting threads posted guys. I've had a really bad day and haven't been feeling well...They're posted now.
 
Anyone have any ideas for the next few SOTWs? It seems if we try to make it too difficult, we get very little entries, but if we make it too easy, we get criticized...

So, ideas please?
 
Hmmmm i like hard ones to be honest. Id like a theme along the lines of 'the city you live in' 'country you live in' etc
 
I'd love to do another Star Wars theme for SOTW. Or perhaps "Anime" would be a good one too. Then just have it any style, just those topics.

I hope people don't mind a Kingdom Hearts themed AotW :| I lalways find KH stuff diffifult personally so I guess we'll see >_>
 
I hate KH, it's kind of hard to do something with the characters. -__- but I guess it's alright if it was hard anyway, we don't want easy anyway. >.>
