The theme this week was graffiti, and here are the entries I received. Please remember, you must post for your vote to count ^^

Ooh the 3rd one easily. it fits the theme so well, and its really vibrant, I really like number 1 aswel, but the 3rd one is just amazing, loving the text on the can too!

1 and 3 are both awesome entries I must say!

Though I feel that number 3 fits the theme more.

The graffiti background looks amazing and I especially love how the spray can has 'graffiti' written around it! It looks awesome!

The lighting is gorgeous and the colours all fit together nicely. Wonderful blending and I really like how the spray can pops out. Feels 3Dish/in ya face. Nice border too, though I feel a white border would have made it stand out a tad more.

Well done to all!

#3 because of the fantastic colours and the render positioning. The layers were well put as well, the other 2 also deserve some credit as they have clearly done a nice job on these sigs.

All of them were really good.

1.) The lighting on this one was superb, although I think the render of the girl could've been blended better ('cause otherwise it looks sort of out of place in the overall scheme >.<). There colors were nice, the stamping on the back really makes it look like graffiti, good job to whoever did it.

2.) This had a good concept, just graffiti, nothing else. I think what really hurts it is the roughness of the render/stock/brush, which to me, makes it clash with the otherwise perfectly fine border. Otherwise I think this was nicely thought out.

I just noticed the 'Grafiti' as opposed to 'Graffiti' as well. But that's just grammar-knotsy me. >.>

3.) I thought this was the best executed out of the 3. The stock blended well, the graffiti designs and arrangement reminded me of those tribal style tattoos or whatever that I think match well with the theme...Color scheme is very light and very well done, much like #1, and I like the subtle effects present throughout the tag. Well done.

I'm voting for 3.

I should be in bed but couldn't help but vote still... -__-

Number 3 got my vote, definitely. The colours :-)awesome: I'm so predictable), and the text placement on the can is awesome, I really enjoyed just looking at all the add ons on that siggy, I also really liked number 1 specially for the colours. But I went for number 3. ^^

Great job, all.

I vote for number 1, it appeals to me more than the others. Adore the colours, adore the lighting, and especially adore the text! Brilliant.

Both 1 and 3 are brilliant. Funky and colourful, 1 seems a bit more edgy to me and 3 is a lot smoother.
I voted for 1 though because I feel like I would actually see something similar in real life sprayed across a brick wall. It has a more urban feel imo.

#1: Magnificent, the color scheme is awesome, and the text is well done, although I'm not sure about the dark bit on the right, I still love this piece.

#2: I don't know >_> this one colors were like "DON'T PICK ME :gasp:" and the text is really out of place <_<;;

#3: It's pretty awesome, I like it, the girl, the paint can and the background looks like a wall, however the right side of the girl is way out of place, I think the one who made it should have done the same thing he did on the left on the right. although it's great.

My vote goes to number 1 >_> I just like it the best, #3 was pretty good but #1 got it for me <_<

1 is very appealing to the eyes. It has that rough style element to it, which is something new and I like it. You can especially see this on the text and the way it was made. The black line is even good. As for the right side and its darkness, I admit that at first glance I thought it was a bit icky, but I actually like that part because it creates a shadowy feel overall, especially with how the artist used the girl and casted the shadow on her. Brilliant work there, if I may say so. You just really have to look hard and realize that the dark theme on the side is an intention, and then you have the vibrant design covering most of the tag...it's really aesthically appealing. The lighting is definitely superb too.

2 has that messy feel overall, which can be seen as artistic, but I thought the colors used was a poor choice. That and I'm not sure the design overlapping the border works, if that was the intent or not. Text is a bit too plain just sitting there like that with no main focal to be placed next to, so that's definitely a challenge. But it's still a good try.

3 is also pretty good but I see a bit of markings on the left border. =/ That and the border on the left does not match the size on the right...I don't know, I'm just very picky about that because of the fact that they are both almost the same size. I can understand if it's intentional though, but typically with those, one border is a massive size while the other is not and you can totally see the difference. But anyway aside from that, it's an awesome tag and I think that even with two stocks, this still really works and that's talent right there. The design in the background fits the theme and the colors are eye-candy.

After much thought on the matter, I'm going to have to go with number 1 though do to the rare rough style. It has a different type of element than what I'm used to seeing, and that's something that I mainly look for.

1 and 3 are both very good but I think im going to for 3.
I love how the spray can is put in! It looks like its coming out of the wall in my eyes and the colours look so warm and friendly.. even if it is graffiti.

1 and 3 are nice, but in my opinion really didn't fit the theme well enough so my vote goes to 2.

I'm not sure how you can say they don't fit the theme well. If they didn't fit the theme, they wouldn't have been put into the poll. An explanation as to WHY they don't fit the theme in your opinion would be nice because as far as everyone else is concerned (and most importantly Mark and I who run SotW) both 1 and 3 fit the theme perfectly fine.

1 in my opinion has nothing to do with graffiti while 3 it does have a little, but it is not the main focus just a background. That in my opinion does not marit it to be considered a graffiti sig.

Here's how 1 and 3 fit the theme perfectly fine.

1) Look at the background. It's a graffiti TAGGED WALL. The girl is also pretty punky looking.

3) Again, a tagged wall AND a graffiti can at the front.

Ergo. BOTH have perfect elements to be counted as a graffiti theme tag.

#2 is just graffiti writing and graffiti typoed. Yes it fits the theme, but it's more simple than the others which is probably where you're getting confused.

Graffiti theme did not mean "ONLY GRAFFITI IN THE SIG" it meant "Graffiti ELEMENTS"

All three have these elements, hence being put into the poll and none of them being DQ'ed.

My vote goes to #1. It's fresh, funky and just so damn hawt. I love the lighting and the text as well.

#3 is a very close second. I almost didn't vote cos I love both entries so mcuh D:

I was sure I did a reply to this.... :gasp:

I really liked the colours in number 1, and it generally looks very well done. I wasn't sure about the girl in it though, the lighting on her was good but to me she blended in with the background too much colour-wise, didn't really stand out from it.

The colours in number 2 also look very nice and the pattern is good, but this one didn't really stand out to me since there was no focal point really...

The background on number 3 is very vibrant and the colours go so nicely together, and I think the spray-paint can is a nice touch. My only criticism is the placement of the can, because to me it looks like it's spraying the girl. <_< Unless that's what the artist meant to do. >_> But to be fair, I don't know where I would put it to make it better. :gasp:

Soooooo my vote goes to 3, because it stood out the most to me and was the most vibrant and colourful. :monster:

Oooh, very close this week, but it's another double win for Lew!

#1 Coco
#2 Penelo
#3 Lagunas Dream
