#1. It's the unique one out of the bunch. I love the designs in the background, along with the colors. The pink circle stands out a little too much, though; perhaps they could have put text on it. I think I know who made this. =p The focal points and stock placements aren't so great on the others; the stocks don't seem to fit right on the other tags.
 
2 and 3 really stood out for me, but I chose 2 in the end. I love the simple colors here and the effects in the BG. It's quite interesting to look at. I must say, the white borders on the side kinda distracts me though, but it's still very well done.

3 was good and I like the slightly blurred effect of the BG. The colors red and green were also a nice touch, as well as the text. But I just like 2 a tad bit better than this one.
 
Oh no. I don't remember which number I voted for in the poll. But I was truly meaning to vote for the second. So ehmm, sorry for that. ><

Second one wins for me. Its angle is just so unbelievable. Quite life-like.
The others were good too, but this one just stood out.
 
Number 2 for me, very cool, nice blend and the font is pretty cool. ^^

Number 1, is ok. Render blends a little bit, but I don't like the same render on the one sig. >_>

Number 3, I like it, but i'm not digging the whole black and white.

Number 4, once again, I don't really like the black and white.
 
Number 1, it just seemed the better one out of the whole lot. More appealing to me personally.
 
I vote for number one. The background and the render seem to go so well together, although I must say I'm not a big fan of the pink spot.
 
#2, it was the first one that caught my eye straight away. The colour of the background goes really with the render and the vector brushes are nifty. The borders look pretty neat as well. Good job. ^_^


Just as a note, after Coco's misvote #2 really has 6 votes, not 5.
 
I voted number one. I felt it was a great use of color and I'm a fan of L so it immediately caught my attention. But like what was already said by Sashman I didn't like the pink spot either... But it still was great!!
 
I'll go for the first one as its an interesting use of what seems like traditional Japanese and colourful art style, specially considerings the faggy subject from Deathnote which usually goes hand in hand with grimdark backgrounds feeling sorry for itself. So yeah, pretty colours.....
 
1 is the best easily. placement/composition is great colors are attractive. simply the best of the bunch
 
I voted for option number three earlier today simply because it's the over all better-looking of the bunch without being cliche. Yeah, I really am sick of seeing big bad L in every other thing I look at. Nothing against whoever made it, it's just that L doesn't do it for me anymore... the render choice threw me off, nothing more.

I liked option number three's background the most, and the obvious attention to detail on the render capped it off for me. Very nice work.

First of all, I want to say that all of said entries were impressive, so kudos to all the applicants.

In the end I chose the first one mainly because it had the best colour combination. That and the fact that I've seen that Lelouch Image WAAAAY too many times to appreciate it. A lot of what makes a signiture unique is the IMAGE you use for it... and well the more "uncommon" it is, the better.

So yeah, 1 gets my vote XD
 
I'm torn between 2 & 3, Iove the images and backgrounds inthem both, I thiiiink Ima go for number 3, I liek the B&W with red and turquisy colour makes it stand out that little buit more

I was actually in the middle of making my SOTW entry for this yesterday when I saw the thread up. >.>
 
I like #3 the most. The red areas look awesome against the black and white. The background is pretty sweet as well, though all the entries have great backgrounds, in my opinion.
