Sorry for the delay.

The theme this week is Survival Horror. Please remember, that while posting isn't necessary in order to count your vote, it is encouraged.

Also, please remember that you CANNOT vote for your own entry, and you will be disqualified from this SOTW, and the next two SOTWs if you do so.

i think two is better, it kinda goes more with the theme of Survival horror as SH games tend to be dark and gloomy for the most part, and 2 is dark and gloomy, and to be perfectly honest, it scares me more than number 1 did
 
Hmm...I love Haunting Ground and #2 is creepy...but i'm gonna have to go with #1. It had nice effects, text and colors. I really liked the zig-zag line going down the signature off to the right. Both are really good entries though.
 
#1 by far. The lighting, colours and text are just perfect.

#2, while using lighting effectively, feels a bit too empty for me.
 
Though this was a tough decision, I vote for #1. I've played Dead Space and, quite frankly, it scared the living shit outta me. I never finished it because I was just too darn tired to go through That One Room near the end, mostly because I didn't think my heart could take the strain. And while this sig has great effects, polish, chainlink line, and excellent typography, what sold it for me is the slashers in the back. Running from twisted, savage, and evil monster hordes is scary. The creepy armor of Isaac adds to the atmosphere. Unlike the second signature, the first one is brightly colored but still manages to be spooky. Lots of things can jump out of the dark and make you jump. But it's the moment when you're running for dear life with no way out that's truly horrifying.
 
I voted for #2, like King Cailan Theirin said, it goes more with the theme. You know?
I really like the effects and colors in #1 and it looks nice, but it's not scary or creepy. #2 is simple, dark, and clean, and the lighting's nice too :)
 
Only two decisions? I was gonna enter for this one but GIMP is a jerk, but it seems I stood no chance anyway :lew:

Anyway, I voted for number one. I don't like how in 2 I can't particularly see anything, though it is perfect for the theme, I just think 1 looks better...
 
I prefer 1. 2 fits the theme but looks very bare IMO.

The text with the line next to it is unique and looks great. I also like the detail but it looks a bit crispy. :sad:

:ohoho: number 1 for sure.

the lighting and colour is sexy, I think the depth could use some work, not that it matters though as its a hot tag :ryan:
