SOTW 110 Voting Thread

If I've missed anyone out, I'm sorry, my internet's being a total whore today, so if I've missed you to just send me a PM and I'll correct the issue. I don't think I have, but I just want to make sure ^^ and if you haven't sent your entries yet, you have 24 hours to send me them, and I'll edit them into the thread.

The theme this week was Reality TV. Please remember that posting isn't necessary for your vote to be counted anymore, but it is encouraged.

I voted for number four.

Ooh. That's sexy. Stock placement is really working for it. The idea of combining her shiny body and adding the glow about her is simply genius. Subtle fading effects are smooth and appealing. The cursive text is a little too girly for the tag, I think, but the 'superstar' and the black bar are perfect.

This is a fabulous tag. Very, very good job to the maker.

Don't get me wrong, it was a tough choice, I kept looking through them and they're all so gorgeous. <3
Anyways, what got me in No2 was the focal point, it was very well done, the way the effects become more gentle towards the edges. I'm a sucker for text, too and I really like the way the text was made in this one. =)

It was a tough choice between 4 & 5 for me, but in the end i went with 5. I just Loove the way you smudged it, im a sucker for smudge.

 

[Big Casino]

1. The text is a little hard to make out and the positioning could be alot better.

2. Everything here is placed really well. The text is stunning. Im not fond of the lighting in the BG though, i think its too much. Also a little tip. When your using topaz clean apply the filter before adding your text. That stops the weird static outline that appears around it same goes with borders.

3. This is a nice one, nice effects and all that. Maybe bring the text in a little closer to the focal though as it seems a bit lonesome where it is.

4. this is stunnig really. The subtle smudging of the stock, the light blue colour thats been added. Its so appealing and professional. My only negative is the text, im not fond of the fonts or placement i think it throws everything off which is a shame cuz everything else in this sig is amazing.

6. This gets my vote. Love the lighting and blending. Theres nothing really special going on but everything has been very well put together and placed excellently. The text is simple and appealing, i like it. Maybe remove the white lines at the side though, they seem off.

7. nice use of vectors but the render is a bit small for the canvas size, make it bigger maybe?

I love the effects and the pose of the image! It looks so alive!

The lighting is brilliant and the faint use of metallic looking blues and maroons is simply gorgeous!

Lovely text and that black line next to 'Superstar' looks awesome!

#4 is absolutely stunning and makes Leona look very sexy. The colours blend right in there together and I'd definitely wear it as my sig.

Anyway, I'm going for #4. It's brilliant.
The combination of the silver and the touch of blue has been accomplished to perfection, and as Coco mentioned the stock placement is excellent as well as the smudging which all in all really bring it together. Amazing work to the creator!

Going with number 4 as well. It caught my eye right away - the flow, the color scheme, the hint of blue. The text could have been a lot better though since the cursive font doesn't seem to suit the overall tag, but it's a minor thing really.

1 is pretty good. I like the soft look, but the rounded corners need some touch-up.

2 is good. Definitely digging the text there. The lighting's pretty nice, but the effects for it's kinda messy.

3 - pretty nice. I like the little orbs on the left, but the ones on Kelly looks a bit awkward due to the red glow. The white lighting surrounding her is also a bit distracting. Other than that, nice simple piece.

5 - This would have been my second choice. It looks kinda similar to 4 and I love the soft smoky look in the background. The smudging looks really nice here.

6 - Again, very nice tag. The effects are quite amazing here and the text suits her perfectly. Now that I'm looking at it a lot more, this is one of my favorites too.

7 - Ooh vector. Looks very pretty and I like the solid color theme. She could have been blended more in though but I guess it would be hard due to the style.
