Wasnt sure where to put this.

I came across this site when looking for tips on how to do text. Its not a foum or anything, sorta like a blog, this guy basically just posts up his work, theres a few tutorials aswell. I couldnt believe it though when i seen his signatures, theyre something else, definately inspired me. I wish i was that good :ness:
Scroll down and have a look at his sigs, specially some of the ones near the bottom, theyre like aweome :gasp: The goddess one would be my favourite.

thats just pure awesome :O

His work is sex when it's at his best, it seems weird though, some of his work is much better when it comes to larger pieces rather than smaller pieces, which is somewhat odd since it means there's a lot more space to fill up. :wacky:

That's unreal :gasp:

Hi Guys.

Thanks for your kinds words. This is a nice site you have here. :)

I just wanted to encourage GFXers interested in honing your
craft to stop by my blog. The entire site in dedicated to inspire
and educate tagmakers to get better fast. I've posted over a dozen
standard tutorials, many of which are exclusive to the blog. Also,
there are many five minute video tutorials to work on specific issues like text,
splatter, lighting and other techniques. I update my site with
new art, tuts and interviews several times each week, so stop by and
visit when u can.

Cheers!

But yeah il definately be checkin back, i started tryin to follow your beyonce sig tut, although its kinda hard, but im gonna give it a shot anyway. :)

Many of you guys talk about my artwork on my Start Page.
That's but one of many pages on my blog.
And...my best work is not on the Start Page :P

Whoa, the guy followed you back here Lew. XD Nice going.

I might take a crack at some of the tutorials. I like trying out different styles and such.

Kandy, you're doing fine with how much time you do have dear. =3

And I need to stop spending 4 hours on a sig when my betters are usually the quicker ones.

I like the abstracty ones. Very vibrant. =P

Subtle, yet very appealing effect.

Wow. He's definitely one of the best I've seen. I couldn't tell if he had a style since he did so many different tags but he pulls it off so well. Also, you were right. His texts are really, really good. Never too overwhelming and always in the right spot.

I wonder how..? :gasp:

Am I spotting use of Topaz add on filters in a few of these?

Great tools. Great graphics.

That's what I thought too, DLFlux. Topaz works wonder, especially if implemented in the right way. I know some people would overuse them to the point that you can totally tell there's Topaz added, but the work here are just right. Great job, LastHope! I wish I can do quality work like you. Those signatures are just pure perfect and the variety of style is amazing. I wish I can get Topaz again. -__- I used them in my earlier works but I want to make use of them now and see if there's a slight difference.

I hear you there. Topaz is a brilliant brilliant brilliant filter. I was totally GUTTED when my thirty days free-trial expired. I can't help but wonder what certain signatures would look like if I topazed them D=

Brilliant link there Lew, I bookmarked it to look around since it kept spazzing my internet, but what I did see, and what others have posted in the thread, is incredible. That's one talented GFXer there.

Do you know if Topaz is supported on CS4? Downloaded vivacity (sp) again yesterday, haven't installed yet, only CS, CS2 and CS3 are mentioned.

Off topic, but your second sig Mr Nicks, did ya do that on your own or from a tutorial, if that latter, can you hook me up? Me love you long time. :monster:

I checked utorrent, and apparently there is a version that's supported by CS4, but people aren't sure if it's a virus or not...I'd avoid it. I can't find one for CS2 anywhere either D=

And, no, it's not tutorial made. I tried something new and it worked, I think. xD

Hmm. Fair enough. I downloaded the trial from the official website. Didn't want to waste time installing if it wasn't supported.

Aye, it works pretty well. It's the brush work that caught my eye. :D

I once tried re-installing Topaz and I got a virus. >.> So after that incident I avoided it like a plague. I'm thinking of just buying the damn thing, but it's soooo expensive.

Ahhh i was wondering what topaz was, so thats how he gets that sharp smooth look to his stocks, thats a really really nice effect. I might look into getting it, iltry the 30 day free trial and go from there i think.

What does Topaz do? :gasp:

Those are some awesome sigs I have to say. O_O I might try to look at his tuts, I only get things from here and there and try to mix them. <_<

Im loving this one
