[Sign-ups & Discussion] The Gates of Tehera

I've gone through those stages, you know. I'm going through a stage where motivation is hard to find, for all RPs, including my own. But keep up the effort. If you post every now and then and don't make it your first priority, you'll get back into it.
 
Yeah, I'm not too fussed about you all posting every single day. Go at your own pace, regardless of whether you can or cannot think of a post to type out. Writer's block is a pest that can't be tackled so easily.
 
By now I just wanted to say a few things...

I'm already really enjoying this rp, even though it's so early on. This is one of the funnest ones I'm currently in.

Also, by now I have started to have Mystro begin breaking form his state of total Apathy, but for now that's as far as it'll get. As of now, his progress of moving into the world of the rest of the people has started...

Also, my plans for Mystro are to make him feel emotions again :mokken:

And lastly...You're all awesome...especially Ringo...Not sucking up, just the spaceballs refference in his first post made it ace...
 
Meh, I'm glad that you think so. However, lately I've not been satisfied at all with my writing. I write something, and I can't help but think it's bland, mediocre, bullshit. I guess that's writers block for you. :hmph:
 
I came up with the inspiration for this character at about 3:30am in the morning. I loved the concept so much that I had to put him on paper. This is what I came up with. I've wanted to write a character like this for years, and I guess that's what was bothering me. I wanted this character to exist so badly, I wouldn't let myself write anymore until I wrote him.

This character is the reason for my writers block. I blame him because I've always wanted to create something like him. The quintessential evil character. Ruthless, cunning, hateful, disturbing, sick, depraved, lunatic. I wanted to make a character that everyone would hate, loathe, and fear. My thought process was simple in creating this character. If you saw someone following you, and you just turned into an alleyway to discover that the alleyway is a dead end, and you saw him upclose, the second you heard him speak was the second you pissed your pants.


I hated the mere thought of this character the second I thought him up, and once I did, I knew he had to be written. Which is why I love what I have created. Pharaun Blackrune is going to be the character that you love to hate, the character that you know exists somewhere deep down in a human being every now and then. Shoved down in that dark corner of society that no one likes to talk about.


He is the definition of evil. That little dark part inside us all that makes a man snap and causes people to lock their doors at night.


On another note, please keep in mind that this is all fiction. I realize that someone may get rather... Offended by Pharaun. However, it's all fiction, and trust me, controlling Pharaun, I won't go that far. XD


Also, I'm writing this at 4:12am in the morning. Any typos and/or plot points will be cleared up iwhen I wake up. Enjoy.

Personality: Pharaun isn't a Jack of all Trades. He's good at one thing, and one thing only: Creating havoc, chaos, despair, pain, suffering, and ruining the lives of everyone he meets. It would be wrong to say that he likes chaos. He loves it. The drive of hearing the screams of one he tortures, the thrill of skinning the flesh from ones bones. Pharaun doesn't just crave it, he needs it.


Necrophilia, Thanatophillia, cannibalism, and more. Pharaun doesn't discriminate on ways to make a man or woman break. He loves them all. Hatred and chaos incarnate, destruction and despair redefined. Pharaun is the face on the wall, the shadow outside your window, he's everything you fear and more.


His voice is of many. Manipulating it to whatever he wishes. Low pitched one second and high pitched the next. He speaks in riddles, and rhymes at times, mostly to annoy, confuse, or scare his victim. Once he picks a victim, he will stop at nothing to make them wish they were dead.

History: Pharaun was there when the treaty was signed long ago. He was one of the many demons trying to stop it from happening. However, despite his efforts, it was signed and the silly little humans got their peace. True to his nature though, he would wait. Wait until “no one gives a flying shit about it anymore” and take that time to strike. Until then, he's traveled the world, murdering, torturing, and manipulating along the way.


After all, Hitler didn't come up with that “kill the Jews” nonsense by himself. Pharaun was the puppetmaster pulling the strings. Stalin? “Small time, my love.” Jack the Ripper? “Personally responsible, dear.” Most acts of senseless violence have been enacted simply because Pharaun was around.
Most recently, he returned to Tehera to stand in wait. After all, many years had past, and odds are, they've forgotten about the stupid treaty. However, unable to contain himself for long, he committed one last act of senseless violence along the way.


19 Years ago he met a saw a woman, an Air Elemental by the name of Alyss, Alyss Dispidia. She saw poor old Pharaun for what he was, and she made the mistake of trying to kill him. Pharaun being stronger, more powerful, and older than her by a long shot, bested her in combat easily. Now... Pharaun being what he was enjoyed his victory so much he had to have a little... Prize on the side. She was supposed to be dead. Little did he know he would become the Father of the Bastard child named Raistlin.


Her unconscious moans and screams when she awoke was enough to keep tabs on that bastard child for years. The Father had to be the stupidest sack of shit Pharaun had ever seen. Air + Air Elemental = Air Elemental child. Not a Fire Elemental.


However... As Raistlin grew older, he noticed that “hot piece of ass” that went by the name Remilia Scarlet... Pharaun had a new goal while he waited to attack the treaty... He wanted to [expletive deleted] his bastard child's little girlfriend while his bastard son watched.


Pharaun was going to have fun with this... He was sure of it.

Your character's so wicked it's hot, Rincewind. Also, just out of curiosity, will there be a point where all of us congregate and meet up? Or will we keep on with our separate scenarios?
 
I plan on having Raistlin and Remilia meet up with everyone soon. I would go into a little more detail about that... But I think I'll wait until you guys read my next post. :britt:
 
Sounds cool, I'm not sure how Asuka's going to act, but I might end up making her change somehow . .. mature I suppose. Hm, we'll see. At any rate, I'm interested to see how this Pharaun guy plays into the story, specifically with Raistlin.

Well, so long as it doesn't screw up what I'm planning, then I'm all for whatever your plan is. I just have to see how well my plan is gonna work first before that happens.
 
Oh no, it won't screw up anyone's individual plans. The plan I have is to affect the town in general, more story-wise. It should be happening pretty soon and quite sudden, too.
 
Oh, ok then. Expect something extremely random in my next post. I just need some things to get it rolling.
 
Actually, Squee... If Mystro is touching Remilia's wrist, then he is the one reading her thoughts. So, just by touching her wrist, he should now know what Pharaun is and what he is dealing with. Other than that, it's okay. I don't mind Mystro touching her... As long as it isn't anything perverted. :ahmed:

That's okay, Squee. I see where it can get someone confused. I made a poast so you can go ahead and have Mystro fight Pharaun, and I updated his character and battle theme, as well as the battle theme of Raistlin.

... I've now got to poo... :hmmm:

And on that note, just in case something bad happens to Mystro that could possibly...kill him...I have another character in mind. Mystro's cousin actually, so just in case that does happen, can I have permission to make him? I won't until I know something might happen to him. I don't think Ringo will kill me before I can even tag team, he's evil, but not that mean :mokken:

That wouldn't be a problem whatsoever. Like you've said, we'll see what happens and then should Mystro die, I've no problem you bringing in a cousin.
 
Aw. That's fast, but the fight should be an interesting plot device for my character. :D By the way, just got a post up, I guess I'm not interested in knowing what the enemy is really capable of.
