I once had that problem posting a new RP, what I did was told Jesse, Jesse told me to split the post up into smaller posts and post multiple posts while her merged the posts. I'm sure he would do that for you, it is his job after all :hmmm:

I have an idea, I'mma try something, it seems that it will accept most of it so I'll try posting and then maybe editing it in somehow :hmmm: Here goes nothin'.

Okay guys, i got exams until the 17th. Luckily, Cuclainn is just building so we can sorta ignore her. If you really need to, take control of Arya Oli.
 
I wouldn't want to G-mod. I'll do something so that Arya will be there waiting for you to control...Plus I find it hard to make things up in this RP for some reason :P
 
Hey, whoevers with me, ya know what I just realized? It's like...midnight where our characters are and we're up working so diligently :wacky: We should get some sleep?
 
waste a whole post sleeping? I say we time skip. Time skip to maybe almost complete. Then we move onto 100% completion. We can make it that right now, for our characters, we are in the past of the other guys and when we finish, we will be in the same timeframe. You catch my drift?
 
I'm fine with either sleeping or not sleeping, I was passed out for a great deal of the evening anyway, but would also still be tired from what happened to me :hmmm: I'm fine with skipping some of the construction too if that's the general consensus. I'm not sure about the specifics of what I'm doing anyway, and would only be able to do a very short post if I did one where I was still building stuff :hmmm: Also, Squee, do you have all the furniture and food we will need in your house? (i.e. beds, chairs, etc. and large amounts of food supply)

Also, something I thought of is, will someone need to be constantly manning the airship's controls? O_O Because if that were the case, we would have to take turns or something and be on alternating sleeping schedules :hmmm:
 
I think Tipsy has the better idea. I vote we do a time skip, anyone else with him?

And for your question, Skylar will be manning it, as I have it planned that he sets up the control room as soon as everything else is set. He hates to teach people how to do things, so Skylar will handle it. Steam Punk and auto-pilot can go together pretty well :ryan:
 
Lol, Skylar will most likely want to see everything fully functional before he does anything, so yeah that's not a problem. What will we shoot with THAT thing though? Lol
 
I'd like to see the demonstration too, and the time skip is fine with me :dave: And I would suggest that maybe the cannon could be facing some sort of hatch door in Skylar's hangar that can be opened, so that his house endures no structural damage :lew: You could shoot something that's outside maybe.
 
Ok, let's not blow off Skylars doors now :mokken:. We'll find something to shoot, Skylar has plenty of inventions of his own...But not his doors :hmph:

Nah, jks. It can gut medium sized battleships, so its got a hefty punch. Find me an equally large object. We can fire out into the open through open doors. I mean, otherwise, how are we gonna get the ship out unless the roof opens up?

You decide since the area is your place.
 
I actually pictured the hanger pulling the ship to a lower level, and if you recall a while back I said there was a nearby cliff going up, they would come out there I was thinking. but then again, that isn't very logical...I'd hate to be stubborn, but Skylar would never allow anything to blow open part of his home XD
 
Is the ship going to have vertical lift though, like a helicopter? :hmmm: Or would it need any horizontal space to gain momentum? I mean I don't think it even has a helium compartment, does it? O_O

And like I said, I agree with Tipsy, just fire it through an open door if possible :hmmm:

Also, Squee, I'm just gonna have Dominic crash on a couch in Skylar's living room if that's okay, I didn't know what kind of living arrangements you have and whatnot XD But that's the only other room I've been in besides the lab.
 
wat i had in mind was that the gun has yet to be planted inside the ship when i fire. so its like outside the ship. We can move it to an open doorway to fire. Then the next time skip will be the ship being 100% completed. I would think most airships are capable of some form of vertical ascent wouldn't it?
