[S/D] Eureka Academy: Second Semester

My thoughts on the matter have been forwarded to oli and i will do what he says on the matter... I just dont see how MY char should in this instance be the one to bow down to your char, other then shear weight of numbers, as in "i'm outvoted deal with it"

But as i said i'll do whatever Oli deems appropriate...
 
Excuse me, but Veerle is the Leader of the DisCom and will step in if she feels her Members are being disrespected or questioned over something as simple as doing their job. In my eyes the black sect members and the StuCo are easily on par with some of the teachers in power ability. Just because they're students, doesn't make them any weaker.

The DisCom's aim is simple. The Rules. Keep them. NO ONE in that school is above the rules aside from the headmaster. Veerle had every right to put your character right on calling out her Vice in public when it would have been far more diplomatic to speak to her in private. Besides, you got her name wrong and that was way beyond disrespectful in Vee's eyes.

One more thing. Octy got an apology.

When it comes down to it, you should have gone to Delijah's DisCom senior (Veerle) or the Headmaster if you had a problem with how she handled doing her job. -shrug;- Neither my character, no Tipsy's were wrong in how they reacted.
 
Why send him anything at all then? He obviously read over everything already, to which he obviously told everyone how it goes down in this thread. Yet you still feel the need to ignore what he just posted and PM him anyway? Hot damn, that's amazing.


Seriously, just deal with it and keep going.
 
All i did was give him a quick 4-1-1 of my motivation in an attempt to prevent this from happening... I'll get a post up soonish, say tomorrow or the day after...
 
I would have said something in my defense if i was up earlier, but i would just like to have pointed out that Nelson did get an apology, though it was more for Delijah's terse way of speaking (as thats the way she is). And she had explained herself that it was a reminder, even reiterating it that it was a reminder, not a threat.

And personally, if you had read my post properly, you would have easily seen that seeing i emphasised it a lot. It just showed how much you actually DID read of my first post because i clearly said that she stated it in a calm, professional manner and how that ever turned into yelling and being demanding is out of my ability to comprehend.

In actual fact, seeing as though you said you are rping, then you should roll with the punches and if you want an apology, you'll get it in the RP sooner or later if the characters feel like it, not by saying you seek one in the OOC thread.
 
i only just realised she had been accepting i didnt see your post saying she was... im going searching :D and i re-read them all... you only mentioned about thinking about her as a possibility you never told she was accepted, but with you being busy i understand, shell be a late comer and join in the next day

I'm hoping to get another post in soon (once I've editted in Toki and Aria's posts to my last one, obviously) Lol. Aria's not even sat near anyone atm so if someone who isn't interacting wants to approach her, feel free~

Though be wary as she isn't the easiest person to get to open up.

I'll have a post up asap, I know it's taking me a while sorry :ness: And Oli, for a heads up, if it ever seems like Bartholomew is irritated by Headmaster Akabea at all then I don't mean any offense by it--OOC I like him, and personally think he's a cool character :D But it's just that it seems like his apparent youth for such a powerful position would be something that would irk Barty to no end XD So I'm not actually trying to rage against him or anything.

EDIT: Also, that applies for anything Bartholomew says to/about anyone that sounds a little off, I'm rereading the one I'm working on and he does kind of sound like an ass sometimes :lew: So please no one take offense to anything he might say in this RP, it's not me talking it's just the character.

Btw, how are the kids gonna enrol into the classes? Just rock up or you want to have an actual sign up thread for that as well? (or use the admin thread?)
 
I say we have a limited sign up thread, I'd say put a cap of how many people enroll in a class to prevent one teacher being swamped by so many classes. I'd say the cap should stand at about 4-5 people, and the students can't register for more than three classes.
 
Oli did say something about only 3 class per student as a max, so i think you can actually enroll in less. That gives you more free time. Its kinda like University for me actually.

We have 33 students. Give and take some people's activity, that number may be more like 26-28.

With 5 teachers = 5 courses.... itd divide into.... shit.... if each person can have 3 classes as max then, if we use 30 students as our number, thats 90 places needed. which equates to 18 places per subject needed max to accommodate for the students.

With these numbers, i guess if we wanna make the classes seem more realistic, we can have an even lower number and ahve a first in first serve sign up thread i guess.
 
Perhaps, but if we limit to one/two class(es) per student, that would give them a bit too much free time, don't you think? :hmmm:

Then again, taking to account registering for missions, I guess that would make the above question invalid.
 
If we were going by real school standard, definitely too much free time.

However, im seeing this thing more as University style. 1/4 school stuff, 3/5 missions and the rest free time including interactions, training, fighting and maybe going down to the town.

But we gotta wait for Oli to comment on that.
