[RP]-Rift in Reality.

Naomi watched everything with a mild interest. Watched as the girl acted like naomi was accusing her of things, then tried hard not to laugh rudely when sarah choked on a cigarette. Watched as sarah walked away and finished her cigarette. She looked up at the sky. looked like rain was on the way, brilliant just what she needed, she hadnt even had a coat today. She turned and headed down the street from the school, going through the graveyard to tell her older sister about her day before going home.

Rachel had died because of a severe "accident" that accident being the father having accidentally drank a little too much and had "accidentally" pushed rachel, who then fell down the staircase to the floor below. all accidents of course, but well... grudges were easy to hold on to. She stopped at the grave and sat against it lighting another cigarette in rachels honour, rachel had smoked when Naomi was younger and naomi had thought it was cool at the time. oh the naivities of youth
.

Shortly after finishing the cigarette and talking to what was technically herself, she stood up and headed back to the house, where no matter what she would probably get shouted at. if she was lucky he hadnt reached the second bottle yet and hed still be in his "friendly" mood

((ill ignore the godmod there fleur lol))

"Tough break then, I guess.... School is going to be anything but normal when Monday comes rolling around the corner. I do wonder though... do you know if that kid was always being picked on or he just went nuts on the spot in there?"

Mimi smirked a little at the girls reaction to her last statement. The twitch of her eyebrow gave away her real thoughts on what Mimi had said and that was satisfying enough. She wasn't sure why she was such a bully sometimes, she really did long to have real friends but if she was nice and friendly to this crazy gangster and this... weird Greek girl then her popularity might diminish. She couldn't have that now, could she?

"Daniel was a Homo." she said bluntly "Of course he got picked on all the time. Wow, you're not very observant." She rolled her big blue eyes under her pretty yellow glasses frames.

"I don't really know. But I do feel bad for his family though. His and all those who were hurt today."

"Families don't care." She replied. "They just pretend to, anyway, I'm Mimi." She introduced herself to the Greek girl who she'd never formally met before.

"You should know if you need any help with anything around the school you can ask me, maybe you can even join my friend group?" She had a bit of a strange tone to her voice, it was still sickly sweet yet with a hint of nastiness. Mimi was known for inviting 'losers' into her 'friend group' just to pick on them.

Looking around, Harry saw some students start to leave, taking this opportunity he bolted for the exit, wanting to get away from the stench of blood and the general atmosphere.

Looking around when he got outside he started to run until he was outside the school building, taking in the fresh air he tried to calm down his racing heartbeat and walked around a corner to be out of view, leaning against the wall and taking a deep breath. "I hope that's over..."

-----------------------------------

Still relatively scared, Natalie eventually mustered the courage to move, pulling her book firmly to her chest, trying to resist the urge to cry as she noticed the girls around her leaving. Not wanting to be left alone she followed after them, leaving the room and walking swiftly to the Courtyard.

Seeing a group talking together she jogged over to them, still clinging to her book "H-Hi, what are you all talking about?" Natalie tried her best to force a smile, something difficult after having witness an attack not long ago.

Alex Glaive

“Oh, yes, my name is Katyusha, Katyusha Koudelka. What is your name? It helps to have a name to go with the voice.”

"Katyusha. Nice name. Mine's Alex Glaive. Are you waiting on anyone or are you done with the things you need to do here. I don't mind walking you home if you don't mind. Besides, I wanna talk more about what happened in the gym. Poor guy, I doubt murdering a person is not what he had in mind after waking up from a nap. I wonder what caused him to snap?" Alex muttered as he looked at the blind girl then to the other girl who has yet to give her name.

"Families don't care. They just pretend to, anyway, I'm Mimi."

The way she said these things, it made her wonder just why she was saying such horrible things. Nonetheless, the Greek girl decided to introduce herself to Mimi. "My name is Marianna, but my parents call me Maria. It is a pleasure to meet you." She smiled a weak smile, no doubt she had doubts about Mimi, something that both the Japanese girl and herself could possibly agree on.

"You should know if you need any help with anything around the school you can ask me, maybe you can even join my friend group?"

Marianna was wondering why Mimi wanted her to be her friend. She was wary, nervous and to lesser extent, scared and excited. While she wanted to actually make friends, she wasn't sure she'd be the right fit considering her remarks, but first impressions are usually misleading.

"S-Sure, I'm okay with that." Marianna said, continuing to show her weak smile.

"H-Hi, what are you all talking about?"

Marianna turned towards another girl, one with black hair and orange glasses. While Marianna said nothing, she would of course like to see how Mimi would respond.

And it only got more interesting.

People were starting to make connections between this incident and that of Timothy Duncan since limp boy had seemingly been sleeping. Whether the connection was real or not was a good question seeing as attempts by the teachers to revive the limp boy were unsuccessful. The connection's line darkened as even the paramedics were unable to bring him back.

Arik watched as they took the boy out to the ambulance, following silently behind them and then into the courtyard. He took his usual place against the western wall, leaning against it in the shade as he often did after school. Despite there being an assembly, it was still usual for Lisa to find him and they would go to his place for awhile. Settling his headphones back over his ears, he picked up on the song easily, his fingertips drumming the melody against the wall. His eyes kept flickering across the courtyard, watching other groups congregate, squirrels who had just found a stockpile of forgotten nuts.

He hadn't been expecting the hand on his shoulder; most people didn't even want to be around him. Jerking his head around, he found himself looking into Lisa's emerald eyes and shining grin.

"C'mon," she said, taking him by the hand and half running, half dragging Arik with her towards the street.

A couple of minutes later, she still had him by the hand but they were walking together.

"So that was weird wasn't it?" she asked him, the first thing she had said about the incident in the gym.

"I only saw the aftermath of it."

"Yeah. You and your music."

"I'd guess that the limp boy stabbed someone with the pen seeing that there was blood on the benches and the pen itself was tipped in blood."

"His name is Daniel and it wasn't just one, it was four. He had been sleeping then got up to leave when he suddenly started stabbing them before going unconscious."

"I'd been hearing that."

"I heard them say that he could be the next Timothy Duncan," she said holding his hand a bit tighter.

Arik couldn't help but wonder if Lisa had something for him. Sure, they had known each other for about 2 years now and she had always been a bit feely but the way she held him these days seemed more urgent. If that were true, then she would be dismayed to find out that Arik didn't return those feelings.

"Another case like that? Unlikely. Just two unrelated incidents. Nothing to worry about."

[OOC: I’ll be posting with Vivian again around night time or if someone else happens to start following her.]
Katyusha Koudelka
Now that she had a name to go with the voice, she felt a little more comfortable. With perfect pitch, she would never forget his voice either. It definitely helped when you were blind. She would have smiled… if it weren’t for what he said next. She must not have stuck around long enough to hear it. All she heard was a punch… she hadn’t heard a stab of any sort.

“M-murder? I-I do not understand? What happened in there? I only heard a punch… and then everyone got so loud so I left. A-are you sure he was murdered? Surely, you must be mistaken?” Katyusha was on the verge of a slight panic. Someone had just been murdered, and it took place less than 30 feet away. What would her Father think when he heard the news? He would get very defensive, and quite possibly want to remove her from the school… but she didn’t want to leave another school again.

Tomoe Tomohane Temahari

Temper temper

"Daniel was a Homo. Of course he got picked on all the time. Wow, you're not very observant."

The condescending tone was really hard to not miss. Tomoe's mind of course took this in strides, labelling it as egotistic preening in order to further cement a sense of superiority and hierarchial order amongst the girls that were present right now. Obviously Mimi felt the need to jab at Tomoe's question. After all, her response was rather matter of factly as if Daniel being bullied was a matter of nature. Tomoe knew that Mimi was just being nasty in a stereotypical "Miss Popular" way. Unfortunately, her mind also picked up on something a bit more to do with herself.

Uh oh..... heat building up in face, head cocked backwawrds, not-so-friendly voice.... not good.... Hold it in!

Of course it was her instinctive and hot blooded side. In her mind, Tomoe had always thought that her mind and her body seemed mismatched. Even though she could recognise and logically compartmentalise most situation, her body moves contrary to the most peaceful situation she devises. In this case, Tomoe managed to rein in and control most of the situation.

I am observant on what i want to be observant about. You may see the need to know and talk incessantly amongst your friends about everyone at school until you know every little bit of detail, but i do not see the need to do so.

She could feel the heat rising from her heart but Tomoe managed to tame it down so that she sounded a slight bit snappy at most, but nothing offensive or provocative.

Close one....

Thankfully, the Marianna managed to divert the direction of the conversation back on track, though her impression on Mimi further diminishes as the discussion continued.

"I don't really know. But I do feel bad for his family though. His and all those who were hurt today."

"Families don't care. They just pretend to, anyway, I'm Mimi. You should know if you need any help with anything around the school you can ask me, maybe you can even join my friend group?"

Tomoe was no stranger to lies and bullies. She caught the slight tinge of insincerity in the offer from Mimi, but even if she didn't catch it, the grapevines did spread the word around the school that Mimi isn't a charity case that offers genuine frienship to just anyone. More often then not, they turn into the gopher or the lackey. Tomoe just hoped that Marianna noticed and watched her back. She wasn't sure if Mimi's offer extended to her, but she kept quiet, just in case it wasn't. That way, if it was only to Marianna, then all Tomoe needed to do is keep quiet. If it was also to her, then she would have to answer, though Tomoe had a line in mind that was ambiguous and polite, but most importantly, didn't pin a sense of obligation to herself.

“M-murder? I-I do not understand? What happened in there? I only heard a punch… and then everyone got so loud so I left. A-are you sure he was murdered? Surely, you must be mistaken?”

"I'm not sure myself since I left early as well. But something big must have happen if it brought the police and ambulance here." Alex muttered as he saw said people rush past him and into the gym.

"My guess is that someone is seriously wounded and stuff like that. I'm not one to check things out. Let the police do their job and we'll get an update soon enough. Besides, it's going to do nothing but give us another assembly on Monday about how we should cope with this mishap and how to deal with it and I know I'll be skipping that assembly for sure. In any case, you got a ride? Both my parents are out of town for a business trip and and I don't have any money for a taxi." Alex muttered as he yawned again.

"Hello." Tara spoke to the girl. Oh that was the blind one, wasn't it? People talked about her like she was some kind of abnormality, but aside from the milky white eyes, there was nothing that stood out about her.

As police and paramedics alike rushed in, a confused Tara glanced at them in passing. Gleaning what had happened from the chatter of other students, including the one standing next to Katyusha, she sighed and held her head in one hand.

It wasn't unexpected really. The poor kid had been picked on non stop for a while now. There was only so much anyone could take before they cracked.

"I'm Tara." She nodded to Alex. "And I agree with him. It's probably best nobody travels alone today. Would you like company going home?"
______________________________

The words of Mimi, the one who people called "Queen", found Chris wanting. How irritating that this girl was making jokes at a time like this. He had liked Daniel. Stood up for him a few times. It was a pity the guy had ended up doing something like this.

Oh well. Being angry would do nothing in this situation. "I'm Chris." He nodded to the others gathered around. At least those who didn't know him. "Nice to meet ya."

Katyusha
Katyusha thought about it for a while. She hadn’t walked home a day in her life, normally someone called her Father and then her Father came to pick her up. However, the one that normally did that was Mr. LaForge… and he had left her to go deal with the commotion. She was just about to answer him when the other girl suddenly spoke up again. Her name was Tara… a pretty name as far as Katyusha was concerned.

Just as he said, she also agreed that it was a good idea to not travel alone. It would be nice to get to know the two of them better… and it would be nice to do something different for a change. Katyusha could just imagine the surprise in her parents voice when they found out she walked all the way home for a change. However, she didn’t want to be rude and just assume that they would walk. She would offer them a ride. Surely her Father wouldn’t mind…

“Nice to meet you, Tara…” Katyusha said, turning back around to face her general direction. “W-would you guys like to walk together? I could have my Father give us a lift… he is somewhat protective though. So he may…. Well, he may interrogate you both. He is just… very protective of me.” Katyusha smiled nervously as she continued. “But, I would not mind walking together, not at all.”

"I'm Tara. And I agree with him. It's probably best nobody travels alone today. Would you like company going home?"

"Nice to meet ya Tara." Alex replied with a smile.

“W-would you guys like to walk together? I could have my Father give us a lift… he is somewhat protective though. So he may…. Well, he may interrogate you both. He is just… very protective of me.”

Alex sweat-dropped as he heard interrogate. While he didn't mind it so much, it was definitely unnerving to have someone asking you questions that makes you very uncomfortable.

"I can do away with the interrogation for now. I get enough of that with the kids at the dojo I'm studying at. I'll take the idea on walking. It's cheap, easy, great for exercise, and the weather is very nice. Oh I wonder if the dojo is outside practicing in this kind of weather? I guess I'll check up on them if we stop by on the walk." Alex muttered as he whipped his knee long braided hair around his neck like it was a scarf before tucking the tail end into his shirt.

"All set." Alex stated with a slight smile.

Katyusha smiled as Alex spoke. It was nice to finally have someone to talk to that wasn’t out to do awful things to her. Plus, he sounded rather interesting. Tara, the girl, also sounded very nice, and from the tone in her voice, she sounded as if she were someone that she could depend on. He agreed to walking, and to be honest, Katyusha was hoping that the both of them would rather walk. It had been so long since she walked a long distance, and she really wanted to hear the sounds of the town around her again.

“That is great. It has been so long since I have gotten to hear the sounds of the city.” Katyusha said, the excitement in her voice evident. “And you said something about a dojo… I take it you do some form of martial art? That sounds amazing. I-Is that fun?”

William was vaguely aware of activity going on around him, but he could not bring himself to be part of it. He simply stood, staring at the spot where his friend's life had been taken. Now that the intensity of the stabbing had sunk in, William was effectively paralyzed.

"You had better go on home, son." One of the police officers laid a hand on William's shoulder. "There isn't anything else that you can do."

William nodded and forced himself to walk away. Mechanically, he pushed his way through the doors and tried to walk towards his car. Lost as he was in thought, it was only a matter of time before he bumped into somebody.

"Sorry." he muttered.

==========================

Walter sat in his chair and watched events continue to unfold. There was a lot of panic and confusion but Walter's eyes never left his twin. William just stood there like an idiot, not moving until he was practically forced out by the police.

The last thing Walter wanted to do was follow his brother out of school. He had just gotten a new car from their father and the very idea of even sitting in it made Walter's skin crawl. He'd find another way home, somehow. Unfortunately, most of his friends had already left. He sighed again when he realized he was standing around like an idiot, just like his brother. Annoyed with himself now, he strode from the assembly hall and fell into step behind some girl with long red hair.

"That is great. It has been so long since I have gotten to hear the sounds of the city. And you said something about a dojo… I take it you do some form of martial art? That sounds amazing. I-Is that fun?"

Alex smiled a bit.

"I do and I guess you can say it's fun. But it more about hard work if anything else. A genius like me struggles in something physical like martial arts. I guess it was the only thing I can take that did not require me to remember various positions on the field and such and I don't regret my choice, despite the bumps and bruises I get." Alex mused as he looked at Tara and Katyusha.

"A walk is always nice. Where do you live?" asked Tara. "I usually walk home anyway, so the exercise won't hurt."

She was somewhat dubious about the boy's "genius" status, but didn't question it. After all, she wasn't the kind to start a fight. She wasn't the kind to back down from one either, but to start one? No. So she left her thoughts unvoiced.

"Anyway, let's get out of here. I'm tired of this place."

Katyusha couldn’t comprehend why someone who was a “genius” would want to do any form of martial arts. Surely he would much rather read books than fight? However, it wasn’t her place to judge. If he had fun doing things of that nature, then he had every right to do so. She just hoped those “bumps and bruises” he was speaking of didn’t happen often. Katyusha’s own bumps and bruises hurt when she got them, and she typically got them often by bumping into random objects like water fountains in school.

Tara had asked where they lived. While Katyusha didn’t know what the place looked like, she knew it was about three miles away from the park nearby. All in all, it wasn’t too far. “I live about three miles away from the park. It should not be too far. What about you two? I would hate to drag you the opposite way you need to go… I do not wish to be a burden…”

“I live about three miles away from the park. It should not be too far. What about you two? I would hate to drag you the opposite way you need to go… I do not wish to be a burden…”

"No need to worry about that Katyusha. I know the park you are talking about. I live within the same area as you do. I have no problem walking there. In any case, depending the location, it might make things harder for Tara. So, how about we get out of here before something else goes wrong." Alex muttered as he started walking towards the front door.

(OOC) Ok moving this along to night time now. Sorry I took so long to post X_X

Mimi Walker

I am observant on what i want to be observant about. You may see the need to know and talk incessantly amongst your friends about everyone at school until you know every little bit of detail, but i do not see the need to do so.

Well Mimi could understand that tone anywhere, Tomoe was having a go at her... but Mimi wasn't going to let that get to her. She told her self that Tomoe was jealous, she had to be, that's why she was being so subliminally mean.

"It's ok Tomoe, if you don't care to know other people at school that's your choice. You'll forever hangout with those gangster friends of yours, but that's ok, I wont judge you." She smirked.

The courtyard was certainly getting busier now, the Principal had shooed everyone out of the gym. Two new people had found themselves engaged in the conversation Mimi was having with Tomoe and Maria because of it.

One was another new girl, Mimi hadn't quite caught her name and the other was that loser William. She had no interest in William at all and decided to snap at him first.

"Wow William, watch where you're going will you? Are you blind???" She flicked her hair behind her shoulder and turned her attention to the three girls. "I'm not interested in talking to you, my new friends need my attention."

She then looked at Maria, but addressed the other new girl with the glasses. "Well we were just talking about the unfortunate thing that happened to Daniel but that is old news now. Maria has agreed to be my friend, this is definitely a good day!" She flung her arms around her 'new friend' and giggled.

"You should definitely come over on the weekend! We'll have so much fun." her voice was slightly sinister. "Sorry Tomoe and....whoever you are, I'd invite you but... you're scary..." She pointed to Tomoe "You probably need to get that stick out of your bum and you..."
she said now turning her attention to the other girl with glasses. ".... well I don't even know, who you are!"

She finally loosened her grip on Maria and stood back, putting her hands on her hips
. "Well anyway, it's been lovely seeing you all. We'll except for you William. It was probably more your pleasure than mine...anyway, I need to go, I have studying to do. It's hard to stay cute and intelligent at the same time but I've managed!" She giggled and waved her hands at the small group before heading home.

Mimi's home was quite close to the school and it took her only Ten minutes to walk there. Once home she realised her parents were still out and she sighed. Home work and meaningless TV would fill up the empty void until bed time.

~~~~
10:30pm came slowly but came eventually and Mimi decided that now was probably a good time for sleep. She hadn't anything else to do so why not... she slipped into her pink floral pyjama dress and took her glasses off, placing them on the desk next to her double bed. Sighing the pink haired girl reached over and turned the lamp off, closing her eyes trying to doze off to sleep.
At 11:00pm she still hadn't fallen asleep and heard her parents come home, arguing and slamming doors. Her father was probably sleeping on the couch tonight even though her mother was the bitch who slept around she thought...no...think happy thoughts.... deciding those would help her sleep better, and they did. Within 10 minutes she was fast asleep and dreaming...
Mona Koharu
DreamScape
Mona awoke laying in a pile of leaves, her long purple-black hair sprawled out across the ground and her beloved Katana 'Oriental Rose' laying besides her. She fluttered her long lashes, trying to adjust her eyes to the dark forest she was laying in. Tonight it was dark and scary, the trees had hardly any leaves and there was a strong wind blowing through them making a loud moaning sound as it rushed past her.
She shivered, rubbing her arms as she got to her feet.
"Poor sweet Mimi, you must have had a terrible night."
Mona said to herself as she picked up her Oriental Rose and fastened it to her side. "This forest reflects it well." Her voice was quiet but strong.
"I wonder what we will dream of tonight?"
Then, almost as if answering Mona's question she heard a voice. It was coming from the distance.
"Help me... help me please!"
The small voice cried from far away. It sounded as though it belonged to a young girl. Mona decided it was her duty to check it out, a young girl calling for help was unsettling and it was not in her nature to ignore it.
"I'm coming sweet-thing" She called loudly, hoping the girl would hear her, but the girl just kept calling for help, like a broken record.
Mona disappeared into the thick of the forest, coming to a clearing with a well in the middle.
"Help me please!" The voice was louder. Mona peered into the well, it was dark in there but her power to control darkness meant she could easily see in it. At the bottom of the well was a small girl with a brown bob-cut. Her dress was smelly and soaked in muddy water.
"Oh little one, I'll help you out... somehow..." she called down, looking around for a way to help the girl
~*~
(OCC) Ok everyone, feel free to meet each other in the dream world, if you want. You'll connect best with people you met today but can still connect with others if you want. Also if you like, anyone can hear the girl calling for help, you can choose to follow her call if that's the direction you want your character to head.
Alex took one look at his watch as he checked the time.
"Shoot. I'm going to be late. Tara, Katyusha, I'll meet you on monday. If either of you are in the area, drop by my house at will. My house is the sky blue one with a bird bath in front of it." Alex yelled as he ran out of the school. Eventually, Alex reached his described house as he pulled out his house key and unlocked the house. entering the closing the door behind him, Alex smiled at the empty house.
"Well, I guess I'll practice a bit, then play some mmos before heading off to bed."
***
At 10:30 after a hard round of practice and gaming, Alex took a quick shower before landing on his bed. Remembering the events of the day, Alex smiled.
"I hope I get a chance to see Tara's house as well as Katyusha's house." Alex smirked before sleep over took him.
Dreamscape: Raijin
Bolts of lighting struck the forest area as a stray bolt slammed into a machine shaped like a man. Opening one eye, the machine man Raijin looked around the area as well as the surrounding.
"Alex, your day was chaotic as well as pleasant was it not?" Raijin muttered as he pulled out his sword and gave it a few swings before re sheathing it. He did the same for his gun.
"Now, what information you want to process tonight?" raijin muttered as he raised his hand. All the bolts of lighting gathered into his hand as he absorbed it.
"Help me... help me please!"
A small voice registered to Raijin as he turned to the direction of the voice. It was nothing that concerned him, but a plea for aid is not something to ignore easily as Raijin started walking towards the source in absolute stealth. Soon enough, Raijin reached a well where he saw another girl with purple hair and a katana standing in front of the well.
"Help me please!"
"Oh little one, I'll help you out... somehow..."
"Did someone fall into the well?" Raijin muttered to himself as he walked out into the opening with one hand raised. Lightning danced across his hand as it lit the area a bit as he stopped at the well. Looking at the girl there, Raijin stopped the electricity flowing as he jumped into the well, slowing his decent with his hands and feet using the walls of the well before he stopped just above the soaked girl.
"Little girl, are you ok?" Raijin asked while coldly looking at the girl.
