[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra

Lan Ester

A bolt of lighting raced towards Lan. With no time to dodge the attack out of fear of it hitting Samuel, Lan raised his claw and braced into the claw as claw and magic colided. With one mighty wrench, Lan redirected the bolt away from himself and Samuel and into the wall above him. Lan turned to the source of the attack and saw the man blocking the way out.

"Hmph, fool. There is no escape for you, Samuel. So sit down and stay put while I deal with this idiot Genome here."

Lan knew that Samuel was nervous since the guy obeyed the man's direction. Tensing up for a fight, Lan looked at the man.

"So, trying to be the big hero huh? You stupid, pathetic bastards don't know what you get yourselves into..."

"At least I don't go blindly following orders like a whipped dog. You are all bark and no bite. Even the Bishop was brave enough to fight in broad daylight while you whimper in the dark. Let me get your name so I can sell your head to the nobles in Alexendria." Lan retorted as he prepared to rush in for a strike.

"Samuel, stay low to the ground. I have friends in high places." Lan muttered as remembered about Robert and hoped that Robert caught his message. His claws poised ready for action as Lan slowly inched forward.

'A swordsman and a mage. Two bad set up in one. I have to rush him so he won't have a chance to use magic. Man if Ri were here, I would have less to worry about.' Lan thought as he rushed forward and sliced toward the man's mid section.

Robert waited until Lan began talking about blindly following orders before jumping up and lancing through the glass directly above the knight general. As he landed, regardless of whether the attack landed or was dodged, he swung his lance upwards at the general, then downwards again, striking several times with almost fluid grace, speed and precision, his bladed lance slashing ans stabbing at the general, aiming primarily for the armpit areas to try and disable his opponent. He would finish his attack combo by causing his lance to glow as he spin it into an X before him and released a forward, rolling blast of energy shards (Cherry Blossom).

"You are certainly one to talk about foolishness. We know more about your little set-up here than you would like us to. You have to wonder about a military where loyalty just doesn't seem present." Robert spoke. He was referring to Ricard's friend. While she merely set them up for the trap, it was because of that attempted set-up that Robert was able to deduce the existence of the trap that laid in wait. Now he was going to sow contempt within the ranks if he could. Robert took a defensive stance and kept his eyes focused on the general. "So hard to find good help these days, isn't it? Oh and if you want to call on your military forces to come to your aid, I'm sure you'll find that the vast majority of them are taking a nice, long, permanent nap." he spoke sharply, readying himself for whatever the general was about to launch his way.

"Lan, get Samuel out of here." he muttered to his companion, not taking his eyes off of the mage/knight general.

******************

More resistance followed as the armies made their way through the upper portions of Cleyra. They had awoken the regular army stationed, but that was to be expected. Archers began picking off soldiers as they came through the streets, in their partially drowsy yet on alert state of mind. The Dragon Knights went down from the roofs to openly engage any the archers couldn't get. The foot soldiers continued to evacuate houses and fight to protect the citizens they were escorting. Alleria Stormseeker

[OOC: :rage: I DELETED MY ORIGINAL POST. ZOMGGGGGG :gonk:]

The two guards never were her match. They had the numbers, but the lack the skills, and this lack of skill proved to be their undoing. As the first attempted a slash to Alleria's neck, the female Knight was already on to his partner, slashing his neck. She was on to the first guard almost as soon, and was done with one stab through his heart from the back.

Pulling out the blade, she moved over to Ricard, just as the ice spirit summoned a wall of ice around the area. It would seem Ricard and this Oeilvert General was still at a stalemate.

This Ice Spirit was probably there to turn tables.

"You good to go still? You'll have to stick to the bridge here"

Alleria gulped, as she followed quietly. Stopping directly behind Ricard, just right behind the bridge, she instinctively took a peep below the bridge and almost gasped.

"L-l-let's end this fast."

Gripping her sword so tightly she could feel the strain on her fingers, she ran towards the Ice Spirit, screaming a battle cry to both strengthen her charge, and to allay her fears.

It was ironic that she would be charging at an enemy on something that made her so fearful, but it was a little too late to realize that. All that was left was to see how physical attacks would fare against the ice spirit.

Watching Alleria charge in front he readied his own attack, something Twin Sword was never taught and no doubt didn't expect when she summoned it.

Bringing his Katana to shoulder level he slid his thumb along the blade, generating an aura of flame along it's edge as he focused on the Ice Spirit, grabbing his Katana in both hands he struck the air with a vertical slash, releasing the fiery energy as it flew towards the Ice Spirit [Flame Sword]

Annelise Steiner and the Magic Knight

"At least I don't go blindly following orders like a whipped dog. You are all bark and no bite. Even the Bishop was brave enough to fight in broad daylight while you whimper in the dark. Let me get your name so I can sell your head to the nobles in Alexendria."

"Bravery? Who gives a damn about bravery?!" The Knight said, "In war, people live and people die, bravery won't save you or anyone else from dying like a dog." Turning his back on Lan, his sword still drawn out, he finally gave his name. "Magic Knight...call me that."

"Samuel, stay low to the ground. I have friends in high places."

"Ok." Samuel crouched down, giving his other allies, whoever they may be ample space to fight.

Theme-Battle 2

As Lan moved ahead to slice at Knight's midsection, he tensed up, expecting him to make a move. Such a shame that it had to be one of such ease. Knight quickly turned around, swinging his blade upwards to parry the attack before giving the monk a headbutt to the face and quickly stepping back.

Just then, the glass broke and down came a Burmecian Dragon Knight, who was about to stab him while coming down from the roof. The knight rolled to the left, dodging that initial attack. He then followed with a quick recovery, moving to block the warriors fluid strikes with elegant and precise parries that kept him from suffering injuries from the Burmecian's spear.

Annelise jumped through the window, having heard the window breaking. She quickly moved into the area whre the fight was going, with Robert continuing his offensive against the Lord-General, keeping his movements precise and ready to outmaneuver the rat once an opening presented itself. But before the warrior can get that chance, Robert launched a rolling blade of energy shards, many of which sliced into his arms, torso and chest. The Knight stepped back and got on one knee, coughing up blood from that attack.

"You are certainly one to talk about foolishness. We know more about your little set-up here than you would like us to. You have to wonder about a military where loyalty just doesn't seem present."

The Knight simply smiled, he knew that Twinsword was responsible for squealing about that, but that didn't matter. She'll learn her place once he's proven right.

"So hard to find good help these days, isn't it?"

"Heh, you tell me." The Knight slowly got up, lifting his sword up and placing it in front of his face, pointing straight up. "It's no surprise though. That dumb bitch believes she could win her 'boyfriend' over to our side. She's just deluding herself from her harsh reality." The Knight then put his blade to his right side, in a low guard position. His thumb was pointing down the length of the blade while the rest of his fingers held it tight, but not too tight as to limit his fluid movements.

Annelise moved forward, swinging her blade in a wide arc, but the Lord-General stepped back. She spoke up, "Why do you talk so negatively about your own comrades? She's a warrior just like you." The way she said it was that of anger, not just at him for talking down about his comrade, but for Twinsword trying to steal Ricard away.

The Knight noticed the clear focus in her eyes as she said that, "Why should you care? You and her are a lot alike. A bunch of naive optimists and idealists who don't have a damn clue what the world really is about." The Knight moved forward, his blade charging with red energy as he attempted to kill Anne. The Alexandrian Knight did the same, charging her blade with the same red energy and as both blades connected, it created a large flame that shot out into the sky, creating a flaming hole in the ceiling. The twin fireballs flew into the air and finally exploded, illuminating the entire city of Cleyra. [Both Anne and Magic Knight used Fire Sword]

----
The Twinsword

The Ice Spirit began to charge up energy for a Blizzaga spell when Alleria moved to attack it. It spinned its Ice Crystals to shoot off a few Ice Needles at both her and Ricard.

As Ricard began charging his attack, Twinsword wondered what the hell it was trying to do, it was only when she realized the kind of attack from the Magic Knight that she snapped into action, moving in as quickly as possible to ensure that her sole advantage was still maintained. "Oh no you don't!!!" Twinsword said as she moved in to tackle Ricard to the ground. If it connected, she would have had enough forward momentum to knock him into the ground and draw her sword at his neck, like he did to her earlier.

Lan Ester

After being hit by a headbutt to the face, Lan back flipped to avoid Robert's attack. Quickly recovering, Lan saw his chance to get the man out of the area as he was busy with Anne. Grabbing Samuel by his wrist, Lan dragged the Cleryan up to his feet.

"Come on. We gotta go now. Rob, Anne, keep him occupied for as long as you can." Lan muttered as he bolted to the outside of the church, not caring if the guy got up and ran or got dragged.

Robert Crescent

Robert began another flurry of assaults on the mage knight, but this time his choice of attacks were Lancer strikes. Each thrust and slash carried with them a draining aura around the blade of his lance. Should the aura itself strike its mark, the mage knight would feel some of his magic power being siphoned, and should the blade also hit, he would feel his health also being drained away. It was a Dragon Knight's answer to casters. Remove their ability to cast, and that's one less thing Robert and his companions have to worry about.

Robert needed not to speak any further, focusing solely on the fight. He had the knight tag-teamed, but kept his wits about him. He wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating the general, and in truth he didn't need to. It was a diversionary attack anyways, in order for Lan to get Samuel to the trunk where Freya was waiting.

Robert made sure to ready himself to evade if the knight used any spell other than a lightning-based spell. Underneath his glove, he wore the Coral Ring his mother gave to him in case he encountered the summoner again, but it's draining and restorative power might prove of use to him in this fight should the knight decide to try a lightning-based attack on the Burmecian Knight.

*************

With the explosion of fire overhead, any military force that wasn't already engaged with the Burmecian forces were up and ready to go. While it wasn't the normal alarm, the explosion caused the rest of the sleeping forces to realize something was wrong. However, by that time, their numbers were 2/3 less of what they originally had when they overtook Cleyra, while the Burmecian forces suffered only 15% in losses, including those who were injured and removed form battle through escape.

The operation was nearing completion, but the fighting was about to get more intense now that the rest of the Oielvert military had come to the front. The Burmecian soldiers continued their assault, clearing out houses as fast as they could while the archers and Dragon Knights began using their more powerful attacks and dragon spells. The majority of Cleyra was out and heading towards Burmecia as carriages carted away the refugees, each carriage guarded by four chocobo-mounted Burmecian Dragon Knights. (80%)

*************

Back in Burmecia, refugees were beginning to arrive. As soon as they reached the unloading area, they were sorted out into two groups: injured and good health. Those who were in good health went to one of Burmecia's two transport airships. One would be bound for Alexandria once full, and the other would be bound for Lindblum, but they would not leave until the last Cleyran resident was aboard. The wounded or sick would be taken to the infirmary to be treated before being sent to one of the two airships which were docked in the two mountainside docks. Each dock could only hold 2 airships each, and both only had one airship of Burmecian ownership within each one. The plan was to send them to Alexandria and Linblum for only until any anticipated reprisal battle with Oielvert against Burmecia was done and over with.

Meanwhile, in the throne room, Sir Fratley waited for King Puck's answer as to what should be done with the mirror that the Alexandrian knight had given to him.

Throwing out his Fire energy at the Ice Spirit it clashed with it's Ice Needles as they impeded the fire's path, watching the needles shatter as they collided they began to ricochet in all directions, some of which struck the spirit, destroying it in a ball of flame.

The others however struck along the walls and the bridge, seeing some heading in his path he threw his Katana towards Alleria and grabbed Twin Sword's arm, throwing her behind him as the Ice Needles struck him and forced him onto all fours.

Coughing up a mixture of air and blood he fell onto his back as he tried to retain conciousness.

Waking up within the Inn, Lucia was greeted by a sharp pain piercing through her head, trying to force herself out of bed against it she lightly massaged her forehead as she walked at a relatively slow pace out of the inn.

Walking outside, the fresh air and rain offered little comfort as, through the pain she remembered her task here and approached the castle as she looked around for the Throne Room in a relatively clumsy and seemingly blind fashion.

"Where the heck is the damn place!?"

Annelise Steiner and The Magic Knight

As the Magic Knight began to parry the Burmecian's and Alexandrian's attacks, he felt himself getting weaker. "So he's absorbing my mana is he?" Magic Knight thought as he sidestepped and parried Anne's strike to his head. The Genome quickly jumped away, landing back close to the door, allowing him a hasty retreat. If he kept up his defense, it would only be a matter of time before their combined strength would overcome his defenses and actually kill him, it was time to cut his losses and retreat. After all, Samuel is gone, and he would need to be ready for the Pirate's arrival.

Theme-Lullaby To Absent Friends

Sheathing his sword, The Magic Knight flatly said 2 words, "We're done."

"What do you mean we're done?" Anne said.

"Honestly you can't be this stupid." The Knight shook his head, "My mission is a failure, Samuel escaped. No point in continuing a losing battle." The Lord-General turned away, and an insulted Anne began charging her blade with yellow magic, just ready to shut his face up for good. There was no way he would just casually walk away from a fight. Has he no honor? Anne had never been so angered and insulted before and unless Robert wanted to stop her, she was definitely going to finish the fight with a corpse on the ground.
----

The Twinsword

The Twinsword slowly got herself up, physically and mentally exhausted after the Ice Spirit was destroyed. The Ice walls melted away and and there was a bit of snow on the ground.

As she got up, she looked at horror as she saw Ricard down on the ground, a shard of ice lodged in his lower torso.

"Oh, no...RICARD!!!!" The Lord-General panicked as she ran over to her love, dropping her two swords on the surface of the bridge. Sliding over to him, Twinsword said with concern in her face and in her tone of voice, "Ricard, please be okay!"

----
Samuel

"Come on. We gotta go now. Rob, Anne, keep him occupied for as long as you can."

Samuel stood up and followed Lan out of the door of the church, and heading down the central settlement to the ladder which led to the trunk. "I must thank you for rescuing me, Sir Lan. Who knows what they would have done to me if they ever found the mirror." The mirrors, the sole reason why Oeilvert invaded and occupied the city of Cleyra and brought war to the Mist Continent once more, and a fact that will lead to more innocents dying in the other cities.
----

King Puck

Puck was full of worry over the mirror. The Earth Elemental Mirror, one of the four mirrors given to each of the 4 Great Nations was the artifact that the Kingdom of Oeilvert was fighting a protracted war over. This meant his Kingdom was in direct threat, since he had in possession the Water Mirror. Cid, Hilda and Eiko had the Fire Mirror, and Zidane and Garnet had the Wind Mirror. All four kingdoms were under threat.

"These mirrors, are of great importance to Oeilvert. Therefore, they will be kept here, at Burmecia Castle. They must be protected at all costs, that's the reason why Oeilvert has engaged in this war in the first place."

Puck put his on his lower jaw as he started to wonder. "Any news from the evacuation forces, or from Robert?"

Robert Crescent
Sir Fratley
Freya Crescent

Robert glanced up as he saw the signal to pull back. One of the Dragon Knights launched a Cherry Blossom attack skywards as a signal that the last house was evacuated and the occupying Oielvert forces were either dead, had escaped or had surrendered. "Mission accomplished." he spoke to himself. Robert watched as the mage knight made his getaway, but Annelise was raring to tear after him. Robert stuck out his lance before her to try and stop her with the visual cue.

"This battle is over for now. Chances are very good we will battle him again, especially considering they will most likely attack Burmecia next. The Oielvert forces here are defeated, but I'm certain they already have forces on their way to try and take Burmecia. An army like the one they had here wouldn't be enough on their own. He may be a treacherous person, but at least he has enough sense to know when he's beaten." Robert spoke to her. "Now let's go. Ricard and Alleria haven't come here, so either they caught up with Lan, or they need our help." Robert spoke. With that, he began dashing down the path towards the trunk.

On the way there, he saw Twinblade over Ricard. He heard her words, and her face seemed like she was going to burst into tears. Ricard was in trouble, no doubt. Fortunately, he had some healing items of his own. Opening up one of his pouches, Robert pulled out a Phoenix Down and a Potion. He tucked the quill of the feather into the cork and looked over to Twinblade. "Here, catch." Robert said before tossing the items to Twinblade. He wanted to save Ricard, but he also wanted to see where her true loyalties lay.

************

Freya looked over to see Lan walking in with Samuel in tow. "Stadtholder Samuel. It's good to see you alive and well. The last of the Cleyran citizens are already en route to Burmecia, and they will be temporarily transported to Lindblum and Alexandria until Oielvert's impending attack on Burmecia is resolved. Once the last of the Burmecian forces have arrived here to evacuate, we will head to Burmecia post-haste."

She looked over to Lan soon after. "Where is the rest of your group? Are they en route?" Freya asked. While she was confident Robert could handle himself, and Annelise was with him, she was still a little worried.

************

A dragon knight entered into the palace chambers, holding a handheld telescope in one hand. "Sire, the signal went up over Cleyra. The mission has been successful. We are already loading the citizens up aboard The Silver Dragon and The Grand Dragon as we speak. Only a few of the civilians sustained injuries from what has arrived so far." the soldier reported. Fratley gave a nod to the knight.

"Good to hear. Now go wake up your relief and get some rest. Once Freya and Robert return from Cleyra, our military will be on high alert. We must get the refugees to the steam airships and sent to Lindblum and Alexandria before sunrise, and we will send five Black Mages aboard each ship as added insurance. Just in case their summoner tries to make a repeat of what happened with the Alexandrian airship. Dismissed." Fratley spoke to the soldier before looking over to the king once more.

"Well, that's the report, your majesty. However, I'm a bit uncomfortable with this mirror. I have no doubt we can fell their army, and we are well prepared for them. While I trust our men completely, it can't go without saying that we couldn't be infiltrated by a talented rogue or the families of one of our men held hostage in exchange for acquiring the mirror. Some of our forces are former citizens of Cleyra that wished to come and live in Burmecia for one reason or another. I would like to take a precautionary measure, if I may. One of my sons is a synth craftsman. I would like to suggest that we make fake duplicates of the mirrors we have and place the duplicates in the area where we have our mirror and keep the real things hidden away elsewhere in the castle, away from that area." Fratley suggested.

OCC: Geez, and I had a trip all set.

"I must thank you for rescuing me, Sir Lan. Who knows what they would have done to me if they ever found the mirror."

Before Lan got a chance to ask about the mirror, Freya saw them running to her.

"Where is the rest of your group? Are they en route?"

Lan looked up to Freya as he caught his breath.

"We got ambushed twice. As far as I know, Ricard and Alleria were fighting Twin Swords while Robert and Anne stayed back and fought another Six General that was guarding Sam here. His name is Magic Knight. A swordsman mage hybrid. This also brings another question. Just before you saw me and Sam here, this Cleryian mentioned something about a mirror. What mirror did he mean and is that the reason Oeilvert is attacking the Mist
?" Lan asked thinking quickly.

Too many questions were left unanswered in that mission. One of them being why would they guard one man out of all others. He was going to get answers one way or another and if Freya was not going to comply, Lan could always asked Samuel.

Freya looked over to Lan. "I will make this brief. The mirrors are a key to a gateway known as the Shimmering Isle that connects this world to the destroyed world of Terra. We don't know what they want concerning Terra since Kuja annihilated the surface of the planet 17 years ago, but considering they've resorted to war to get them, it cannot bode well for the people of Gaia." Freya explained. With Samuel there and the soldiers into the trunk to leave for Burmecia, Freya had no reason to stay stationed in the trunk.

"I need you to bring Samuel to the carriage and escort him to Burmecia. You can use my chocobo if there are no others available. I will head back to Burmecia once I've found my son the others." Freya spoke before she took off towards the route that led to the church. She rushed as fast as she could. As much as she trusted in her son's abilities, she wouldn't be able to bear losing him like she once lost Fratley to amnesia.

The explanation that Lan got answered all of his questions. But it also raised one important question that Freya stated.

"What is on Terra that they want?" Lan muttered as he saw Freya leave. He quickly looked around for some Oielvert's fallen men until he found one. Quickly, Lan striped the dead genome of the armor and weapon before rushing back to Samuel.

"Into the carriage Sam." Lan muttered before he pushed Sam into the open Carriage doors. Once Sam got himself seated, Lan dumped the stolen armor and weapon into the carriage as he shut the door and jumped on Freya's Black Chocobo.

"Let's go guys. Full speed and no stops. Ya!" Lan declared as the carriage with Samuel lurched off and started rushing towards Burmecia with Lan following beside the carriage on Freya's Chocobo.

Aaron:You Alright?

He Check's her for injuries but she look's fine..But he does notice that she has a Tail..

Aaron:So your a Genome too..?

Lucia slowly lifted her head, trying to contain the throbbing in her head as much as possible "Yeah, and what about it? And stop yelling! My head hurts enough as it is!" Lucia grabbed her head again at this as she tried to stand up again stubbornly, using the wall as support.

"Now where... The heck... Is the king?"
the fatigue of the pain was starting to show through, not helped by Lucia not being awake for very long, letting her hood down she let her long hair flow out, hoping some extra air might help clear her head a little faster.

Alleria Stormseeker

Accidents happen, unsurprisingly. Even back in Ipsen, she had seen her fair share of accidents for the most minor of missions. Back then, she did not think she would react as much as she did now. She was lucky, having dodged most of the ice needles, save for some that hit at an angle that merely ricocheted off her battle dress.

Ricard wasn't as lucky. He may have held off a few with his fire attack, but he clearly didn't manage to hold off all. Nevertheless, stopping in her tracks, she looked back at her fallen comrade.

To her surprise, Twinsword was almost immediately at her side. Alleria walked up closer, unknowing of what to do. She had no knowledge of first aid and she just didn't have a potion at the right time.

It didn't help that a foe was suddenly a friend. Holding her blade up, she approached the two cautiously. As if on cue, Robert arrived. Equally wary of the Oeilvert General, he tossed a Phoenix Down and a Potion towards Twinsword.

"Here, catch."

Alleria watched Twinsword, on alert for any signs of hostility. The moment Twinsword betrayed their momentary trust, Alleria's blade will draw her blood.

Annelise Steiner

As Anne was about to strike the retreating Lord General, a Spear got in the way between her and the Genome.

The Alexandrian Knight scowled, "But..." However, Robert interjected.

"This battle is over for now. Chances are very good we will battle him again, especially considering they will most likely attack Burmecia next. The Oielvert forces here are defeated, but I'm certain they already have forces on their way to try and take Burmecia. An army like the one they had here wouldn't be enough on their own. The warrior gritted her teeth, but he was right. They were certain that they would meet again, and she'll be sure to end it quick. "Fine..." Anne said, sheathing her sword.

"Now let's go. Ricard and Alleria haven't come here, so either they caught up with Lan, or they need our help."

"Right." Anne followed Robert out and began heading down, while Robert headed up further ahead, she stayed behind to ensure that they were not being followed, or led to another trap.
----
The Twinsword

Twinsword looked at a Burmecian who tossed a Pheonix Down and a Potion at her, reaching out for both items, she managed to catch them both with her hands. She began by pulling the shard out of his stomach. Taking the Pheonix Down she crushed the quill in her hands and sprinkled it on Ricard's body, more so over the wound to stabilize his condition.

Twinsword then pulled the cap on the Potion bottle and said to a barely conscious Ricard, "Here, drink this." She put the potion bottle close to his lips and started pouring some of the liquid down his mouth.

When Annelise arrived, she looked to see that Twinsword was helping an injured Ricard. While the Lord-General knows some basic first aid with items, Anne had White Magic on hand. As much as she wanted to punch her in the face for putting her through this, the first thing the Alexandrian knight had in her mind was to help Ricard.

"Here, let me help." Anne said as she began crossing the bridge, heading to where Ricard was laying down. Getting down on one knee, Anne began putting her hand close to her forehead, summoning her holy magic abilities to help her comrade. Anne's hand glowed a clear light as she placed it on Ricard's chest. Ricard then began to glow as the wound began to close up, the added effect of the Pheonix Down and Potion should help hasten the recovery process and get the Samurai back on his feet.

"How long will it take for the duplicates to be made?" Puck had to ask this because if there are Oeilverti reinforcements coming as early as tomorrow, then they will need as much time as possible to create a strong advantage.

His condition out of the danger zone, Ricard's vision began to clear as his wound closed. Trying to move his arms were still relatively weak. Looking over to the three people in eyeshot he tried to speak "Can you... Give me a hand here?"

Ricard began to cough, his body still adjusting to the healing he noticed his Katana still cast aside on the ground "And could someone grab that?" hoping someone got the idea, with his arms unable to point out what he meant.

--------------------------------------------

Having little ability to push him off, Lucia let herself be carried to the throne room, letting her tail be free of it's use as a belt so she felt less constrained, walking as well as she could she walked into the Throne Room

"Hey, is anyone here!?"

Alleria Stormseeker

Still wary of Twinsword, she glared at the General as Annelise moved over to help Ricard with her white magic. Within moments, Ricard regained consciousness - or at least, part of it.

Can you... Give me a hand here?"

Alleria almost sighed aloud in relief. She was starting to doubt that Twinsword would be an enemy if she would wait till Ricard regained his consciousness. It was still a curious point, really, but for now, it seemed to be fair to not be so hostile.

"And could someone grab that?"

Glancing around, Alleria initially overlooked the katana until it became the only object that Ricard would probably want to have back with him. She walked over to the weapon and took it with her free hand.

Ambling back to Ricard, she sighed as she returned the weapon.

"Tsk. That wasn't very impressive," She remarked, before smiling lightly. "You're really lucky you have Robert and Annelise here to help."
