[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra

Aaron Sohm

Aaron sighed loud as he grabbed Lucia's Tail softly as to not hurt it but enough so she pays attention."Quit hitting on all the girls here,we're supposed to work together how can they build trust while your trying to get in their pant's.."He said before looking to Alleria and bowing in apology."I'm very sorry,I've been trying to get her to calm down but nothing seems to sate her perverted side. And I'm also sorry for not being the most Talkitive person in this group,I'm not much of a open person by the way I was "raised" in this world..."

He lets go of Lucia's Tail and leans against the wall looking at Lindblum as it gets closer.

Not being aware of what was going on behind her, as someone grabbed her tail Lucia collapsed onto all fours in a paralysed state. As her tail was released she fell onto her chest as she began to breathe heavily like she'd just been choked. When her energy returned she slowly pulled herself back to her feet and saw the one who grabbed her tail, Aaron.

Walking over to him she gave him a powerful shove before addressing him "Don't EVER do that again, you hear me!?" before she stormed off away from the group and leaving the ship, taking extra care to cover her tail from view in case he tried agan. If there was one thing she hated it was being out of her own control with no free will left, her own freedom to do what she wished was her greatest strength and to lose that frightened her.

Remilia Oveilia

Remilia was very, VERY, amused as aaron grabbed Lucia's tail. Needless to say, she was also amused at Lucia's reaction as the summoner kept mental note on how to keep Lucia off from her in the near future. She walked up to Aaron and patted the man on the shoulder.

"While I don't approve you grabbing someone else's tail, I should also thank you for that." Remilia said as she walked off the ship. She then saw Robert talking with some Lindblum's guards and decided to wait a few feet off just so he have some privacy.

Alleria

Lucia was definitely doing this intentionally. She must have seen how guarded Alleria had been around her and knowing her playful nature by now, it figures that she would tease her further. Relishing the feeling of foreign touch on her chest, she realized her only regret was the touch was not that of her crush back in Ipsen. Lightly brushing off Lucia's hand, she sighed as she looked over to the female.

All this just in time to catch a different face from Lucia. Apparently, from behind, Aaron had rudely grasped Lucia's tail. Being a Genome herself, she knew how uneasy that must have felt, so she could empathize. Yet, considering the awkwardness she was dishing out to virtually everyone possible, she had to agree it was her just desserts.

Lucia storms away from the group, leaving them alone, and possibly safe from anymore inappropriate gestures. The airship lands some time after, and Alleria disembarks with Remilia, following behind the latter quietly.

Garnet

Upon receiving word that Lady Freya and Sir Fratley were to be in the throne room, Garnet postponed all tasks on hand and was there in an instant. Zidane, being his usual supportive self was with her as they waited in the throne room. Freya and Fratley arrives soon enough, probably owing to the severity of matters.

"I bring news from Burmecia, Queen Garnet...King Monkey-tail."

Though it seems apparent to Garnet that Freya still retained her sense of humor.

"Lady Rat-Face. At least you're safe. Sammy came by here earlier, and told us about the mirrors. But what would Cyril want with them."

Garnet failed to withhold her giggles as the two exchanged fancy names in jest. To think they had once traveled as fellow party members void of such fanciful labels like 'King' or 'Lady'!

"Freya, Fratley. It is good to see you again..."

Granted, the reasons may not be as pleasant as their reunion.

"... Though I am curious to know what news you bring."

King Zidane and Princess Sarah of Alexandria

"Rat-face hmm? You know this floor is looking a little dirty. I may have to use your face to clean it up. Anyways, we have gathered from the two captured Oielvert lord-generals and from Amarant that Oielvert veiws Terra as a 'promised land'. How that land could be a promised anything after your 'brother' laid waste to it with that Ultima spell, who knows. There is no other conceivable reason for collecting the mirrors than to open a gateway to Terra, at least that we know of."

Zidane was all to familiar of the gateway to Terra. To place them on the seals and open the gateway through the Shimmering Islands. "That I also wonder myself. But no matter the case. We must not let King Cyril's plan come to fruition."

"Burmecia came under attack from Oielvert forces, but Oielvert's forces fell to our defenses. Despite this loss, they have reinforced Cleyra with a much larger military force. While they could make a new attack on Burmecia, we feel that their next target is going to be either Lindblum or Alexandria. They might even try to get the mirrors from both at once through use of spies or rogues. Also, my son confirmed that the enemy has a summoner at their disposal and that summoner was responsible for downing your airship. We were also aided by another, different summoner. So it would seem that you and Eiko are not the only survivors of the tragedy of Madin Sari, Queen Garnet."

"Summoners? I wonder where they are all coming out of the woodworks from?"
The King thought as he looked over to his wife, the Queen. He had always thought that Garnet and Eiko were the soul survivors of the race. How is it possible for something like that to occur.

As they were talking, the young heir to the throne of the Alexandrian Kingdom was peeking from behind the pillar, curious over what her parents and her "godparents" were talking about.

"And before I forget, we brought some presents for Sarah's birthday, even though it's a bit early. The larger one is from myself and Fratley, the smaller one is from Robert. King Puck sent him and Annelise to Lindblum, along with another Alexandrian knight and their friends. And Queen Lilly says hello."

"Gifts?" Sarah could hardly contain her excitement. Her golden yellow tail wagging back and forth over what she was going to receive for her Thirteenth birthday.

----
Princess Eiko of Lindblum

"Your old man's project? There's no wood on it. The ship's not going far if everything on it is all metal. I don't think it has much prospect in flight."

"That's what my mother said the first time she saw it too." Eiko laughed, before looking at the ship, "The ship's interior is made up of wood, it is plated with 4 inches of high-quality steel. It'll fly, plus the added defense means it'll be harder to shoot down."

----
Annelise Steiner

Watching Robert move back from Anne's attack, she knew that his fight was going to be going on a while with their posturing. But just as she was going to position herself for another attack, Remilla interrupted.

"Hey you two. Lindblum is just infront of us. Finish your spar soon before Lucia decides to write a book about two lovers that met in the heat of combat."

"Well, that was...short. You should have rolled forward though. You would have went under my lance and you could have gotten in a free shot."

"And you forget I'm not as flexible as you give me credit for. I'm not a Burmecian you know." Anne smirked as she sheathed her sword.

"Still, I guess we can see which one of us is better during the Festival. Other than that, you've gotten faster, and your strikes have a bit more power to them."

Anne smiled at the compliment that Robert gave. Seeing Remilla and Alleria disembark, Annelise decide to follow the ladies, after all it had been a long trip over there.

----
Lindblumite Guardsman

"I am Robert Crescent, and these are my companions. I believe Regent Cid and Princess Eiko have been waiting for us. If you could please let either of them know that my team has arrived and we have important information from Burmecia, it would be most appreciated."

The soldier saluted Robert, watching his comrades come by him for a moment. Standing at ease, he said "Ah yes, we have been expecting you. Unfortunately, the Regent has left with Queen Hilda to Daguerreo on important political business and will not be returning until early tomorrow morning. But you are welcome to stay at the castle at your lesiure. Princess Eiko is here at the castle as well, and I will go and note her on your arrival." The guard saluted again and walked of as another guard came by to watch the ship they arrived in.

Lan Ester

"The ship's interior is made up of wood, it is plated with 4 inches of high-quality steel. It'll fly, plus the added defense means it'll be harder to shoot down."

"Hmm. That would do it. It'll have the advantage of speed and defense. That's not a bad mixture at all. What's the name of the ship anyways and how sea worthy will it be?" Lan asked as he looked over to the horned summoner beside him as curiosity got the best of him in terms of both the ship and Eiko.

--------------
Remilia Oveilia

Remilia smiled as she turned around to see Alleria behind her. Hooking her arm around the back of Alleria's neck, Remilia dragged said girl beside her as the knight started speaking.

"Ah yes, we have been expecting you. Unfortunately, the Regent has left with Queen Hilda to Daguerreo on important political business and will not be returning until early tomorrow morning. But you are welcome to stay at the castle at your leisure. Princess Eiko is here at the castle as well, and I will go and note her on your arrival."

The guard started walking as Remilia walked with Alleria.

"Hey Mister guard. Where's the guest bed room? I wanna sleep in those beds." Remilia asked. The guard sighed.

"You are the second person that asked about the beds there. A green haired genome last night asked about seeing the Royal Family as well. But we refused entrance for him until this morning. From the way the guy snored, I think the rumors about the beds might be real."

Remilia's ears perked when she heard about the green haired genome.

"Green haired genome? Did you ever get his name?" Remilia asked.

"Hmmmm.... oh yeah. His name is Lan Ester." the guard replied loudly to everyone in earshot. (Which should be everyone in the group.)

Remilia's eyes lit up as she started jumping a bit.

"He's here! He's safe!" Remilia exclaimed with a big smile on her face.

Freya Crescent
Sir Fratley

Freya caught a glimpse of Sara's face as she was peaking out from behind the pillar. She seemed much like her father was, ever the sneak. At the very least she didn't seem to pick up Zidane's old hitting on everyone of the opposite gender in sight ways. "Tomorrow is the Festival of the Hunt. Robert is going to be participating on my behalf, and Annelise might end up participating as well. However, my husband and I have been sent here by King Puck because of the fact of the mirror being here makes Alexandria a prime target. So we are here to help your defenses, should you need us." She spoke before grinning a bit. "I hear their scouts are really good. They can even find little girls that hide behind stone pillars." she jested, looking over at the pillar she had seen Sarah peeking out from.

Fratley chuckled a bit as his wife teased at Sarah. Still, there was something else on Fratley's mind. There was someone else in the vicinity, a familiar presence. If he was going to have peace with his re-emerging memories, there was one memory he would have to face and deal with. "If you all don't mind, I need to go get some fresh air." Fratley spoke.

Freya raised an eyebrow, but she then gave a nod to Fratley. She knew something had been on his mind since they entered the castle, that moment when he stopped. She knew whatever it was, this was something he had to do. She turned her attention to Sarah and smiled. "So which one would you like first? The present from your godparents, or the one from Robert?" she asked in a coy tone of voice.

Fratley walked out onto the open walkway at the top of Castle Alexandria. Even though it was rebuilt because of the destruction of the original by Garland and the Invincible, it was so familiar it was as if he was standing on the original walkway.

"Eighteen years, and this place is the first memory that surfaced." Fratley spoke, taking in a deep breath. The walkway was five stories up from the river below. The agony of the electricity raging through his body. The hard crash of the water as it struck his skull after he plummeted to what was close to being his death, the event that stolle away his memories and caused the rumors of his death to circulate. "You were just doing your job, obeying orders given by the queen. I was fighting so that I could warn Burmecia in time, to try and save the lives of my country, my people, and most importantly Freya. We both lost something important that night though, something irreplaceable. Didn't we..." Fratley spoke, almost to himself before glancing over at the western entrance of the pathway, the same one his attacker came out of all those years before. "...Beatrix." Fratley spoke, looking at the woman as she came out of that very same entrance.

Robert Crescent

Robert smiled a bit and gave a nod to the guard. "Thank you. I'll head to the guest room. I'm sure everyone here who hasn't slept on the beds here is going to be dying to sleep on them now, especially after the hell we all went through so far." Robert jested a bit before looking to the group. "Alright then. Everyone, feel free to explore Lindblum, get supplies, whatever you need or want to do. Be back here by dinner. If you want to come with me to the guest room and pick out your beds, feel free to follow me. I know the castle quite well." Robert spoke.

Robert would head off into the castle itself. He would need to stay there in the castle until he could talk to Eiko. It had been a while since he saw her last, but now wasn't exactly a simple political or friendly social visit.. Hearing that Lan was here, he knew that they would at least have heard about the mirrors. Still, Robert wanted to hear everything they knew so far, and fill in the gaps with what went down in Cleyra and Burmecia.

The Burmecian Knight headed to the guest room and took the bed closest to the door of the room. He turned around and fell backwards on it, getting some much deserved rest. He kept his eyes open, waiting for Eiko or the guard to come.

As they arrived in Lindblum, Ricard followed closely behind Annelise before Twin Sword could follow. Unlike some of the others rest was not on his mind, he had other ideas he wished to take advantage of instead, when they finished with the guard, Ricard took Annelise's arm so she knew he was there before speaking into her ear "I'm heading outside, rest is the last thing on my mind right now"

With that he made his way to the Business District and started walking to the main gate, he wasn't sure if he was going to be followed but considering recent events he didn't want to become a burden on the rest, he didn't spend the better part of his childhood training to take a backseat to anyone. He had to make sure he hadn't lost his edge so he could still fight when the time required it.

-------------------------------

Still being rather on edge, Lucia too had no wish to rest right now and being gone from Lindblum so long she wanted to meet her old friend anyway. Being a citizen of Lindblum Lucia followed the guard up to the top floor to meet with Eiko, knocking on the door of her bedchambers she entered before announcing herself "Guess who just got back?" with a cheery smile.

Aaron Sohm

After the situation with Lucia,he never knew some Genomes were affected by tail grabbing,He would have to apologize when he got the chance. The ship soon landed at Lindblum and many of the members were already disembarking it and heading into the city.

"Don't know what I should do first..The city is still probably busy with the Festival so it probably isn't safe to wander around town,Maybe I should just wander around the castle for now.."

He left the Airship and walk's around till he finds the main lobby that was by the Elevator and Guest Room's,He see's a sofa and decides to rest there till the festival of the hunt begin's.

Princess Eiko of Lindblum

"Hmm. That would do it. It'll have the advantage of speed and defense. That's not a bad mixture at all. What's the name of the ship anyways and how sea worthy will it be?"

Eiko smirked, "Well we haven't gotten into tests yet, but..." As she stopped for a moment, she tried to remember the name. The thought did not take to long though, "My father decided to name it Madeen's Ribbon, after Mog." It had been Seventeen years since that fateful day when Mog became Madeen to protect her from Kuja's machinations and yet, there had been so many things that had changed since then, because Mog had been looking out for her.

A guard walked up behind the pair and announced, "Lady Eiko, we have guests who have arrived from Burmecia. They have come to see you, milady." He bowed before turning away.

"Guests from Burmecia? Hey Lan, didn't you say you have a few friends coming from there. You think it could be them?" Whether or not he answered, Eiko decided to meet the party at the airship entryway, leaving the construction yard for the time being.
----
Annelise Steiner

"Alright then. Everyone, feel free to explore Lindblum, get supplies, whatever you need or want to do. Be back here by dinner. If you want to come with me to the guest room and pick out your beds, feel free to follow me. I know the castle quite well."

Ricard got in close to Annelise and said to her "I'm heading outside, rest is the last thing on my mind right now"

"Thanks, I think I'll stay in the castle for a bit and I'll meet you outside later."
She saw Ricard off as he headed for the aircab that would lead him to the city itself. She then turned her attention to Remilla, who was talking with another guard.

"You are the second person that asked about the beds there. A green haired genome last night asked about seeing the Royal Family as well. But we refused entrance for him until this morning. From the way the guy snored, I think the rumors about the beds might be real."

"Green haired genome? Did you ever get his name?"

"Hmmmm.... oh yeah. His name is Lan Ester."

"He's here! He's safe!"

Anne smiled at Remilla, excited that Lan was safe and well. In fact she was happy herself that her friend is safe. "Well then, if we see him, you can give him back his cloak then. Besides I will need to speak with him anyway."

----
General Beatrix Steiner (Ret.)

Theme-Rose of May

"...Beatrix."

Beatrix heard the voice that came from down the walkway as she exited from the west tower. Her hair was still long and a vibrant chestnut brown color but a few strands of grey line her hair due to her older age. Her facial features, despite being in her mid 40's were generally unchanged.

"Fratley..." She looked up to the Burmecian as she remembered that cold winter day eighteen years ago when they fought in this very walkway. But times have changed and so have their outlooks on life, both in their personal lives, and their duties to their countries. And yet, it seemed that they did lose something in that battle...

Garnet

The Queen met her King's gaze in her direction. She, as he probably was, had thought Eiko and herself were the only summoners ever since the tragedy at Madain Sari. Who would have expected that there were other summoners, and summoners in the enemy camp?

The thought was worrying, but nothing Garnet can resolve at the moment.

Garnet was glad for the change of subject. Smiling, she thanked Freya for the gesture," Thank you for remembering. I am sure Sarah will be very happy to receive these gifts."

"Tomorrow is the Festival of the Hunt. Robert is going to be participating on my behalf, and Annelise might end up participating as well. However, my husband and I have been sent here by King Puck because of the fact of the mirror being here makes Alexandria a prime target. So we are here to help your defenses, should you need us."

Freya seemed to have noticed something. Her eyes were darting about, seemingly noticing something behind Garnet. The Queen was curious, but made no comment about it - or did not manage to raise any questions before Freya.

"I hear their scouts are really good. They can even find little girls that hide behind stone pillars."

That question surprised Garnet as she turned to look over to the pillars where she noticed her daughter, the Princess Sarah, hiding behind the stone pillar. A gentle smile climbed on to Garnet's face as she watched her daughter react. She reminded her fondly of Zidane back in the day, and the thought widened her smile into a grin.

"So which one would you like first? The present from your godparents, or the one from Robert?"

"Come over here and decide, Sarah."

Alleria

Remilia took notice of Alleria soon enough and hooked her arm around the latter's neck in a friendly gesture. Although mildly irritated, Alleria made no protest as she let herself be dragged along by Remilia to the Knight at the gates.

The conversation between the two was not of interest to Alleria, so she took the time to look around. Lindblum, according to her textbooks, was a city of technology. Back in Brahne's time, it suffered quite a severe beating from Atomos but looking at the city now, one would only know the events from books or experience.

"He's here! He's safe!"

Alleria raised an eyebrow as she looked to Remilia curiously.

"Who are you talking about?"

Lan Ester

"Guests from Burmecia? Hey Lan, didn't you say you have a few friends coming from there. You think it could be them?"

"Yeah. But it's early for them. I am certain burmecia has no airships and they would have to take the land route here. Unless I missed something during the last battle." Lan replied as he followed Eiko to the airship entrance.

------------
Remilia Oveilia

"Who are you talking about?"

Remilia gave Alleria a deadpanned look.

"Were you listening just now? Lan's here in Lindblum. I hope he's ok. Ohhh, let's go find him now." Remilia said as she smiled while letting go of Alleria as she started walking backwards just to face the two women.

"Well then, if we see him, you can give him back his cloak then. Besides I will need to speak with him anyway."

"Yeah. Company of the Let's Find Lan Ester Party. March." Remilia exclaimed.

Sir Fratley

Fratley chuckled a bit as he leaned against the wall. "I'm not sure which was more surprising, meeting you here eighteen years later, or that the very first thing I remembered was our fight." Fratley commented before looking over to the former Alexandrian general. "Your looks haven't changed much. I guess time's been kind to you. But you are certainly much different than you were eighteen years ago. You may have lost your eye to my lance, but you seemed to have gained a new vision on life." the Burmecian general said.

He himself didn't look much different, though he no longer had the lance he used during his fight with Beatrix. "I heard from your daughter that you retired. Quite a loss for Alexandria's military, especially with Oielvert stirring up trouble. But having a family changes so much. I might retire myself when this is all over. Let Robert take the reigns when he finishes his journey." Fratley said as he looked forward at the city before him.

Beatrix Steiner

"I'm not sure which was more surprising, meeting you here eighteen years later, or that the very first thing I remembered was our fight."

Beatrix smiled as she looked out to the side of the bridge, "To be honest, when I saw you here, I thought the same thing myself."

"Your looks haven't changed much. I guess time's been kind to you. But you are certainly much different than you were eighteen years ago. You may have lost your eye to my lance, but you seemed to have gained a new vision on life."

"Yes, ever since that battle...and everything that had happened, I've come to look at myself at a different light than I had originally intended a long time ago."
Looking back at Fratley she continued, "Even now, looking back at everything I have done, all in the name of Queen and Country. I have no regrets."

"I heard from your daughter that you retired. Quite a loss for Alexandria's military, especially with Oielvert stirring up trouble. But having a family changes so much. I might retire myself when this is all over. Let Robert take the reigns when he finishes his journey."

"Indeed I have, but even then I believe that Annelise would be able to succeed both me and my husband. We must trust our future to the next generation after all." Beatrix laughed when se said that, "It's Ironic, a friend of mine from Oeilvert actually told me that. She's a former officer for the Alexandrian Army."

----
King Zidane and Princess Sarah of Alexandria

"I hear their scouts are really good. They can even find little girls that hide behind stone pillars."

Zidane smiled and turned towards the stone pillar, looking at Sarah, who was trying to, and obviously failed to spy on them.

"So which one would you like first? The present from your godparents, or the one from Robert?"

"Come over here and decide, Sarah."

Sarah smiled and ran over to Freya looking at the larger box and then the smaller. "I want...that one Madame." She said pointing at the larger box.

----
Annelise Steiner and Eiko Carol

"Yeah. Company of the Let's Find Lan Ester Party. March."

Anne laughed as she signaled Alleria, "Come on, let's go find Lan then." They didn't have to look too much however, as Eiko entered the hangar with two guards and possibly Lan with them. "Hey there, my name is Eiko." The Princess said, smiling before extending her hand, which Annelise shook. "Greetings, my name is Annelise Steiner, of the Blue Winged Knights of Alexandria."

Looking past her, she then saw a few other figures, but the one that surprised her the most was also with them. "Hey, you're back!" She spoke, looking at Lucia.

Lan Ester and Remilia Oveilia

Remelia smiled as she saw Eiko introduce her self.

"I'm Remilia Oveilia." Remilia said as she smiled at Eiko.

"With a smile like that, it's no wonder the Oeilvert Army conscripted you Remilia." Lan muttered as he walked out from behind the guards to beside Eiko.

"Lan!" Remilia exclaimed as she rushed forward and hugged said genome.

Lan returned the gesture before prying himself from Remilia.

"Hey there Anne, Alleria. I thought you guys wouldn't be here til later today." Lan muttered.

"That's because we got an airship. Oh yeah, I found something of yours." Remilia said as she handed Lan his bag.

"Hey. My robe. All my gear is here as well. Thanks. Ah, it's been too long old friend." Lan muttered as he put on his green robe, completing the picture of his usual attire.

"Where's everyone else?" Lan asked.

"Doing their own thing." Remilia answered.

Lan's expression turned serious.

"Gather them up. We need to discuss some things concerning the immpending Oeilvert attack." Lan muttered.

Exiting Lindblum Ricard entered the fields surrounding it, with only mountains, forests and the unreachable Pinnacle Rocks he began his search for any monsters he could find. He had to be sure he wasn't becoming a weakness to anyone. Reaching a forest overlooking the cliffside Ricard found something, though not a terribly difficult monster it still required care and precision, at least for a lesser man. Before him stood, or rather floated a pair of Bombs, Ricard didn't consider them incredible threats with his abilities but he would still have to take care in case of an aftershock.

Pushing his blade slightly out of it's sheath with his thumb he entered range of them so he could feel their heat as well as become detected by them, with a single, almost unseeable slash through the air a blast of energy erupted from his blade, the same move used to stop Alleria which with these enemies having sufficiently less protection took a far worse hit. Where Alleria got little more than a small bruise, these Bombs found their skulls split which when making up the majority of their body, left them completely powerless as they both exploded. "I can still do this yet... I still remain weak, what is it I lack?"

--------------------------------------

"Hey, you're back!"

Lucia heard a familiar voice, turning to see Princess Eiko. Unlike the others who were somewhat more formal, Lucia ran forwards and tightly embraced her "How have you been? I missed you!" when Lucia eventually let go she took her time observing her "You've grown since I last saw you, but i'm still bigger!" she joked before taking her hand and turning to face the group "Surprised someone as lowly as me is friends with a princess?"

Robert Crescent

After claiming his bed and placing his travel pack on it, Robert returned to the airship dock. He was going to wait there for Eiko, but to his surprise, she had arrived there fairly quickly. Another surprise was Lucia being friends with Eiko. "No, we're just more surprised that you -have- friends Lucia, considering how many headaches you've been causing everyone." Robert spoke before giving a smile to Princess Eiko. "It's been a while Eiko. I wish this visit was on better terms. Considering Lan is here with you, I can presume he's told you about Oielvert's objective; gathering the elemental mirrors to open the gateway to Terra?" Robert asked as he stood over by Annelise.

Lan Ester and Remilia Oveilia

"It's been a while Eiko. I wish this visit was on better terms. Considering Lan is here with you, I can presume he's told you about Oielvert's objective; gathering the elemental mirrors to open the gateway to Terra?"

"That's the catch there Rob. They are gathering the mirrors, but it's for a different purpose. Rob, can you get everyone that came with you on the flight and get them into the guest bedroom? I have a few important things to say right on the spot." Lan muttered.

Remilia looked at Lan as she then looked over at Alleria, Lucia, Anne, Rob, and twinswords. It was then that she noticed that Aaron and Ricard were not there.

"Hey. Where's that Aaron guy, Ricard, and Twin Swords?" Remilia asked when she didn't see them among the group.

Freya Crescent
Sir Fratley

Freya chuckled a bit and handed the bigger box to Sarah. "Madame? You're going to make me feel old, kiddo." Freya jested before she handed the larger of the two boxes to the young teen girl. Inside would be a beautiful green ballroom dress that she had tailor made for the young princess.

The next box would be the smaller one, holding an emerald necklace, crafted by her two sons as a gift on behalf of Robert. Freya would hold out the smaller box for the girl to take once she was finished with the larger one before she would look over to Garnet and Zidane. "Speaking of kids, how is Mr. Prince of Treno doing?" she asked with a smile.

Soon, a thought occurred to her. "Hey Zidane. You remember where we got the mirrors from right? Ipsen castle? When we took them, we ended up getting attacked, and the mirrors were being used to power something there. Do you think Oielvert might use the mirrors to re-activate that device?" Freya questioned.

Outside, Fratley listened to Beatrix as he leaned against the wall. "So, what are you going to do now? From my information, Oielvert is using Cleyra as a staging point. While they could make another strike on Burmecia, ships have been seen leaving Cleyra and heading for here and Lindblum. Small ships so far, most likely to seed rogues in place to try and find the mirrors, but they have enough troops that they could launch an all-out attack on either here or Lindblum. Possibly even both at once if they have more troops en route to the Mist continent." Fratley asked.
