[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra

"D-Damn,I lost..Now get off of me,unless your wanting to start something you can't finish"

Lucia laughed at this statement "Who said anything about ME not being able to finish?" joking in return as she deliberately got off him as a slow pace before taking his hand and pulling him up. "Well i'm sufficiently entertained now, now what shall I do wi-"

Before Lucia had a chance to finish her sentence she saw in the distance Lindblum Grand Castle, she'd been gone a while and it was always breathtaking to see it from the air, not to mention being back home. dashing to the front of the Nobleese Oblige she leaned over the hand rail to get as close a view as possible as the wind let her long hair flow freely in it. For the first time in a while she was genuinely happy, she couldn't wait to see Eiko again.

Remilia Oveilia

Reaching the deck, Remilia looked over to ultima, who which pointed toward the front of the ship. The red haired summoner looked and saw the Lindblum Grand Castle.

"Thanks Ultima. Take a nice nap." Remilia said as she desummoned the angelic being.

Walking up to the front of the ship, Remilia saw Lucia there smiling at the sight. Walking up to the woman, Remilia stopped beside her and used her Tiger Racket and a third leg.

"Is this place special for you?" Remilia asked while looking at Lucia a bit before returning her gaze back to the castle.

Distracted by the sight of Lindblum and the thought of being home again, Lucia didn't notice Remilia approach her.

"Is this place special for you?"

Lucia turned to see her stood next to her before returning to look straight ahead "Yeah, it's my home, there's no place better to be for me" Lucia couldn't help but keep an almost childish smile on her face, she wished they could get there faster. Leaning further forward Lucia's tail shot up in a catlike fashion as she stood on the tips of her toes "I can't wait till i'm back"

Lucia then turned her head to face Remilia again "What about you? Do you have a place to call home?"

Remilia Oveilia

"What about you? Do you have a place to call home?"

Remilia smiled at the question.

"I do. It's in Dali. I worked at the pub there. But I hate the place as well. It does nothing to stop me exploring and every guy there tried to propose to me. That and I was the only child in my family. It ended up to the point that I left Dali just to get away from them. It was annoying just trying to work without someone on their knees asking me to marry them. Most of them were loaded with riches and saw me as housewife material. It was annoying." Remilia replied as she looked at Lucia.

Lucia laughed a little, picturing guys proposing to her all the time gave her some amusement "I guess you were just saving yourself for me" she joked before facing forward again "But really, freedom, while a hard choice is sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse..."

Pushing off of the handrail Lucia turned her back to Remilia before turning her head again "but this serious talk isn't like me I suppose, don't want to give everyone heart attacks now, do I?" Lucia then, to reaffirm this gave Remilia a playful poke in the chest "right?" Lucia gave her another warm smile before turning to face the central deck "I suppose we may as well see who gets their butt kicked"

Of course she wouldn't get much sleep. In one moment, there came a clatter from the next room. Then, there came an even louder crash from some part of the ship. With that, went her sleep. Alleria got up feeling frustrated for both failing to sleep and for the noise - less of the latter though.

Her feelings of restlessness would not subside in the room, so she took to the deck where she noticed Remilia and the perverse Genome - Lucia, if her memory was right. She was hesitating about approaching but seeing the genome in a normal condition was probably more encouraging than before.

Alleria approached the two cautiously, waiting for them to finish their exchange before stepping in. "Hello," she said, greeting the two. "Can't sleep?"

((OOC:lol sorry about that but I was busy most of the day yesterday D:))

Aaron Sohm

"Who said anything about ME not being able to finish?" She said as she slowly got up and offered her hand to help Aaron up,He grabbed it and got pulled up as she helped him up,The summoner from earlier comes up to Lucia and they start a dialogue.Aaron spaces out again as he can see Lindblum in the distance He walks to the edge of the ship.

He thinks to himself,"Been a long time since I've come here..Wonder if they are done with the Festival's Preparations."He stops spacing out and goes back to Lucia and Remilia who were still talking.

"Sorry about that just remembered that its been forever since I've been to Lindblum I got lost in thought when I saw it."

Remilia Oveilia

"I guess you were just saving yourself for me"

Remilia decided to nip that joke at the bud right there.

"Meh. I am not above sending my summons at you if you decide to start flirting with me. Just a little warning." Remilia muttered as she turnned around and saw Alleria there waiting for her and Lucia to finish talking.

"Hello, can't sleep?"

Remilia smiled at Alleria.

"I blame the noise. It takes the chance to make itself known at any opportunity. Besides, I wanna try sleeping in Lindblum's guest room beds. They say that sleeping in those beds gives you three years worth of rest and relaxation." Remilia joked.

"Can't sleep?"

Lucia shrugged as she turned to face Alleria "more like can't stay amused, ship rides are so dull unless you take the helm"

Lucia sighed loudly as she leaned her back against the ship "I can't believe i'm saying this but i'm looking forward to being on dry land" Lucia then turned to face both women "So what do you plan to do in Lindblum? You don't strike me as the types for wine, women and song"

Before she could hear a reply, Aaron, the man she fought earlier returned to them "Sorry about that just remembered that its been forever since I've been to Lindblum I got lost in thought when I saw it."

Lucia turned and smiled at him "you and me both"

Robert Crescent

Robert spun his lance clockwise, knocking away Anne's initial attack. As she spun her body around to make her next strike, Robert anticipated her next move to be a sword swing at his other side. He would use the center blade and dual ax-like sides to attempt to catch her blade and then try to lightly tap her on the forehead with the lower, blunt part of his lance. It's be just strong enough to sting a little, more like a teasing tap than an actual hit.

Freya Crescent
Sir Fratley

Freya and Fratley hopped upon a single silver dragon, fitted with a double saddle for the two of them to ride upon. The dragon was trained by Freya herself and was bonded to her. It would follow her every command as obediently as Kuja's silver dragon obeyed the now deceased villain.

The flight took a good eight hours, including the breaks they would take every two hours to give the silver dragon time to rest. After a very long flight, Freya and Fratley would land the silver dragon down by the Alexandrian castle. They would allow the guards to escort the dragon to the stable area.

As the two approached the front gate, Fratley stopped in his tracks for a moment. While he had been to the castle many times to visit, it felt different now that he could remember what had happened there. It almost felt like it was a different place, even though it was still the same from every other time he had visited with Freya, Robert and the other children. Freya placed a hand upon her husband's shoulders, almost reassuring him silently that no matter what was troubling him, she was there for him.

Freya and Fratley headed into the castle and made their way to the throne room. Provided Zidane was there, Freya would speak. "I bring news from Burmecia, Queen Garnet..." she would then look at Zidane and grin, "...King Monkey." she jested.

Princess Eiko Carol-Fabul of Lindblum

"Hey, lemme see what you are going to make. I never seen the airship docks before."

Eiko turned around, looking at Lan "Well, my father doesn't usually let guests come to see the docks, but I guess what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right?" She smiled and signaled Lan to come over, "Alright, follow me." Eiko went down to the elevator, and when Lan comes in, the door closed behind them, and the elevator descended towards the middle level, where the airship drydocks would be located.

----
The Twinsword

Watching Ricard leave, she was surprised and stunned. "Oh come on, why did I make him leave like that." Shaking her head she thought to herself, "Dammit Twinsword, you came on too strong!"

Standing up, she looked down the hole, seeing Lucia and Aaron fight each other to its conclusion. "I should've known...oh Lucia just loves to annoy me, does she?" Deciding it's better not to pursue until Ricard calms down, she decided to just lie down and get some sleep, lying on top of Ricard's bed and falling to a blissful sleep.

----
Annelise Steiner

The tap on Anne's head made her step back a bit, every strike successfully countered with relative ease. Gripping her Broadsword on her right hand and her left hand facing slightly forward, she slowly walked sideways before moving forward, swinging her blade in an upward arc right up to the Dragon Knight's head before bringing it down on him. This time, if the blade locks with his spear, she'll be ready to make a counterstrike.

----
King Zidane of Alexandria

"I bring news from Burmecia, Queen Garnet...King Monkey-tail."

"Lady Rat-Face." Zidane jested back at Freya's comment. Although Garnet dealt with many matters that came with the role of being Alexandria's Head of State, Zidane was there to support her in any way that is possible. Still, with not much known knowledge since the Battle of Burmecia, they could only make guesses and assumptions. "At least you're safe. Sammy came by here earlier, and told us about the mirrors. But what would Cyril want with them." Zidane thought back years ago when he first met the man. He wasn't king, heck he wasn't even the noble type back then. Just an adventurer with his wife and their child. Yet here they were, on opposite sides of the conflict.

Freya Crescent
Sir Fratley

Freya chuckled a bit at Zidane's return quip. "Rat-face hmm? You know this floor is looking a little dirty. I may have to use your face to clean it up." she jested a bit before ending her little bit of humor. "Anyways, we have gathered from the two captured Oielvert lord-generals and from Amarant that Oielvert veiws Terra as a 'promised land'. How that land could be a promised anything after your 'brother' laid waste to it with that Ultima spell, who knows. There is no other conceivable reason for collecting the mirrors than to open a gateway to Terra, at least that we know of." Freya explained.

"Burmecia came under attack from Oielvert forces, but Oielvert's forces fell to our defenses. Despite this loss, they have reinforced Cleyra with a much larger military force. While they could make a new attack on Burmecia, we feel that their next target is going to be either Lindblum or Alexandria. They might even try to get the mirrors from both at once through use of spies or rogues. Also, my son confirmed that the enemy has a summoner at their disposal and that summoner was responsible for downing your airship." Fratley explained to the royals. "We were also aided by another, different summoner. So it would seem that you and Eiko are not the only survivors of the tragedy of Madin Sari, Queen Garnet."

Freya reached into her leather backpack and took out two present boxes. "And before I forget, we brought some presents for Sarah's birthday, even though it's a bit early. The larger one is from myself and Fratley, the smaller one is from Robert. King Puck sent him and Annelise to Lindblum, along with another Alexandrian knight and their friends. And Queen Lilly says hello." she spoke with a smile, handing them to Zidane. The larger box had a rather lovely ballroom dress, while the smaller box had the necklace their other sons made to be presented on Robert's behalf.

Robert Crescent

Robert sung his lance upwards, holding it over his head like a staff to intercept the blade while bending his legs down. As soon as the sword struck, Robert would jump upwards and over, trying to knock her sword backwards behind her. Either way, he would twist himself over before landing on his feet three feet behind her. The dragon knight would then swing his land out towards her right side, making sure the blunt side of his double-bladed lance was facing her, just in case the attack actually landed. That way he wouldn't risk hitting her with the sharp ax-like sides.

"Well, my father doesn't usually let guests come to see the docks, but I guess what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right? Alright, follow me."

Lan nodded as he followed Eiko to the elevator and the door closed right behind him, just missing his tail. Soon enough, the elevator lurch into motion as it started to make it's way tot he middle level.

"So how often you go into the airship docks just to hang around? It looks like you spend plenty of time there working. Don't it get boring after a while?" Lan asked as the elevator descended to the middle level.

"I blame the noise. It takes the chance to make itself known at any opportunity. Besides, I wanna try sleeping in Lindblum's guest room beds. They say that sleeping in those beds gives you three years worth of rest and relaxation."

"Yeah," said Alleria, nodding. "I heard about that from my fellow Knights. I sure do hope they are right in making those claims though..."

As she finished, Lucia joined in.

"I can't believe i'm saying this but i'm looking forward to being on dry land"

"I know, right?"

Her expression was incredulous as she mouthed those words. To think she would be dreading the flight on air when on land, she was dreading the ground.

"So what do you plan to do in Lindblum? You don't strike me as the types for wine, women and song"

'Women'. That was quite a rude reminder about Lucia's sexual orientation, which Alleria was starting to fear. Was she a man in woman's disguise?

She was hesitating to respond when another man, whose name she vaguely recalls to be Aaron, approaches the group. She didn't pay attention to their words as she stared away in the distance.

"I think I'll love the bed, comfortable or not, haha."

(OOC: I'll wait for Monarch to post as Garnet before continuing as Zidane)

IC:

Annelise Steiner

Anne figured that Robert was going to make a jump. Sliding her blade down before her blade was pushed all the way back, Anne watched her back as the Dragon Knight landed behind her, swinging his lance to her right side. Annelise moved forward, performing a combat roll to evade Robert's spearblade. With the pair now roughly 4 feet apart, the advantage was solely on the Burmecian Dragon Knight. Had she been able to use magic it would not have matter, but thinking outside the box in battle was the name of the game.

Anne moved forward slowly, walking to Robert's left side with her blade pointing straight at him. She would then move in forward, dropping her blade to a low guard while getting in close, her blade now moving upward and aiming for his spear-hand with the blunt edge.

----
Princess Eiko of Lindblum

"So how often you go into the airship docks just to hang around? It looks like you spend plenty of time there working. Don't it get boring after a while?"

Eiko smiled as the lift stopped at the mid-levels, exiting them "Well, it does sometimes, but I guess after hard work we tend to see the result we like the most."

Walking down to the hall with three ways to go, Eiko went right, heading up the stairs and into the Castle Study. From there, she went down another hallway, which led to a walkway, in front of her was a large scale airship, however something was different about it. The propellers were larger and thicker and the sides of the ship were not made of wood but...iron?

"Welcome to my dad's pet project."

"I think I'll love the bed, comfortable or not, haha."

"Don't mind if I do" Lucia teased before she fixed her long hair from the wind and pulled her hood up again before approaching Alleria. It certainly never got dull keeping the women on edge, the men by contrast seemed less bothered by it, at least when it was directed at them but that was a given considering.

Edging closer to Alleria she watched her expression with delight, at least once they reached Lindblum she could be herself again, this was about all she could do to keep herself sane on this trip. To get maximum results she gently snaked her hand down Alleria's chest armour. Though such behavior she felt inside was overdoing it she didn't feel she could be herself yet, not yet.

Lan Ester

Following Eiko, Lan
soon reached the airship docks where Eiko pointed out a particular ship.

"Welcome to my dad's pet project."

"Your old man's project?" Lan wondered as he looked at the ship. It was then that he noticed the framework. It was all metal and no wood can be seen on the ship.

"There's no wood on it. The ship's not going far if everything on it is all metal. I don't think it has much prospect in flight." Lan muttered as he looked at the ship some more.

---------------
Remilia Oveilia

Remilia watched Lucia worm her way to Alleria as the summoner sighed. She then saw Robert and Anne sparring with each other. Deciding to let the pair know that they were coming close to Lindblum, Remilia walked over to the pair. She kept her distance as the two sparred with each other.

"Hey you two. Lindblum is just infront of us. Finish your spar soon before Lucia decides to write a book about two lovers that met in the heat of combat." Remilia called out.

Robert Crescent

Robert lept backwards into a summersault as the airship was about to dock. "Well, that was...short. You should have rolled forward though. You would have went under my lance and you could have gotten in a free shot." Robert spoke as he landed five feet away. "Still, I guess we can see which one of us is better during the Festival." he added with a coy smile. "Other than that, you've gotten faster, and your strikes have a bit more power to them."

Once the airship had docked, Robert would head over to one of the guards. "I am Robert Crescent, and these are my companions. I believe Regent Cid and Princess Eiko have been waiting for us. If you could please let either of them know that my team has arrived and we have important information from Burmecia, it would be most appreciated." Robert spoke to the guard.
