It doesn't work on posse members, or even normal players in general unless you're in PVP. Turn it onto expert for a little practice against NPC's to get a feel for it. :pockets:
 
I had another glitch today while playing free roam with Ryno...

We were riding a cart, but we got in the cart at a really odd angle... Ryno's character jumped out of his seat, jerked and got back in again (though really he was there all that time). Anyway... He drove for AGES to our location, but then all of a sudden the earth opened up and engulfed me! The ground obviously didn't want to eat Ryno, as he was left perfectly fine (as far as I could tell). I was in the cart and it was spinning around like crazy underground, and the ground vanished so that I could see everything above me as I was spinning. Eventually it was spinning so fast that there were about 20 carts, and 20 of me. Suddenly the earth spat me back out again, and where was I? At the fort with Ryno? NO! I was back at the place where we got into the cart... In the middle of nowhere. I had to ride all the way back to the fort on my horse. :rage:

Ah well... It was still a fun free roam session. I finally met a bear. I met it as it mauled me to death (I thought it was my horse and tried to mount it), but that's not the point. :monster: I shot two bears afterwards so I guess I got revenge.
 
I "passed into legend" just a while ago. :ffs: So not worth it. For those not in the know, that means I gave up every single weapon I had gained since level 1, all my mounts, and challenge progress in hopes for some interesting goodies on the other side. What do I get? An old man skin, and a star as my emblem for the next, oh...50 levels. :grumpy:

I hate the donkey. It's so slow. GIVE ME MY BULL BACK :rage:

I had no idea that was you :wacky: I had fun too, camping in the barn and listening to Nick get pissed off beyond belief. But then I went to the top floor and got glitched 100ft in the air until I came back down and died. :sad3:
 
Wait, you can save all your weapons? =/ I remember I found that kick-ass pistol in Free Roam but when I played again, it was gone, as well as the other weapons I found...I used to have 5 pistols in my inventory but now I'm down to 3.
 
The same thing happened to me. Basically, the only weapons that you save are the ones you unlock via a level up. Ones that you pick up go when you leave multiplayer or turn your system off.

I was quite annoyed as well. I loved my high power pistol. :hmph:
 
So what things reset when you enter that legend mode thing? Will I have to do the challenges again? I don't know if I wanna waste any more time on challenges... especially those head shot ones.
 
Everything resets besides your characters and titles. Mounts, weapons, and challenges reset. If you have a made a gun golden, it will remain golden when you get it again, but you don't get to hang onto it before that. :hmmm:
 
OMFG, I cant get this game ANYWHERE! GAME are sold out online and checked all through Manchester and nothing. Its so frustrating, special editions and normals are going for silly prices on Ebay. Im gutted, I want to play this game :(
 
I just found out that going legend drops the required unlock levels for all weapons and mounts. For instance, I got the hungarian half-bred at level 22 instead of 33. :pockets: Figured that might be some food for thought for everyone!
 
My first impressions of the game.

Straight off it reminded me in GUN. Which makes sense as rockstar also made gun.
Im enjoying it so far, the storyline has kept me entertained, not tried multiplayer yet.
There are a few things that bug me though.
For one the hit detection is absolutley atrocious, it seems that shots constantly miss when they were on target. Theres also quite a few times where i see people sitting down and theres not a chair under them.
The map aswell in my oppinion is way too big. It seems like your contantly riding around from mission to mission, i mean big games are fun but i think its too big. Almost as if its purely only to add game time on. The fact that you cant fast travel to every mission marker aswell is retarded..... and you cant fast travel from safehouses, only camp sites which you cant place anywhere.......lame.
The fun of the game though. Ie. the missions and story defintely makes up for the annoying parts. Guess il have a bash at the online play tonight some time.

Yeah, I agree that it's fairly easy. The only times that I've died was when I was stupid enough to drown or something like that.

I found some pretty hilarious videos last night but forgot to post 'em. These glitches are ridiculous. :wacky:



 
Lmao! That had me laughing, especially the donkey woman. The side commentaries from both guys were pretty hilarious too. And that last video...can I say, creepy much? =/

I feel like turning on RDR and playing it now.

Do you mean the accuracy of your weapons, or shots you know the round hit for sure that didn't count? :hmmm: Most weapons in the game are meant to be pretty inaccurate given their time.

Like you can aim directly at them and your shot will miss. Yet you could aim half an inch away from their head and hit them.
If it was meant to be this way it would be obvious but half the time its so random. Fire once and miss, fire again at the exact same spot and they die.
Even at closer range it does this which makes me believe that rockstar fucked up =/
 
Funny glitch, especially towards the mid-end. xD



Freakin' scary-ass glitch. o.o I'm glad that didn't act up when I played. Seth is one hell of a creep.




Why are there so many glitches in this game...?

The ending to thew story was fucking crap :rage:
That was no way to end the game -__- It was obvious those goverment bastards were gunna comeback but i didnt think theyd kill john and get away with it -__-
I feel cheated.

Head into Blackwater and there is another stranger mission to complete. I'm sure it will satisfy your needs.
