[REC] It's great.
The Descent
The Devils
Don't look now
Possession, the one made in 1981
The Fly
Last House on the Left

the last house on the left is decent
i was gunna say the beyond but ive notived youv already listed it. Guess yer into italian horror films then.
Braindead is pretty good. An early peter jackson film.
The devils rejects. One of the better modern horro films imo.
Zombie flesh eaters = cult classic

I noticed you listed Jeepers Creepers, that movie (and the second one) scared the living hell out of me. Ugliest thing I have ever seen. Hoping for a third though.

The Ring - 1 & 2, both very good films and quite scary.

House On Haunted Hill - One of my favourites as a kid, about demon-turned dead mental patients in a crooked hospital (or something).

Last House on the Left was messed up. I started watching it. The rape scene is pretty screwed up, and the part at the end where one of the guys gets his arm stuck in a garbage disposal...forget it.

I took my DVD out of my laptop, snapped the mo'fo in half, deleted the movie off my harddrive, and that was that. I can't watch that junk.

The Strangers is one of my favorites though. Try that one out.

I agree with this post, Jeepers Creepers scared me too, when we watched it my sister made us put X-men on afterward so she could sleep... and she older than me! Again I agree, The Ring is pretty damn scary although I didn't know there was a second :mokken: I'll have to check that out!

Splinter ...low budget but seems highbudget
Pandorum......is like deadspace
Case 39 ...creepy
Triangle..horror mystery
The mist ...awesome
REC 1&2 and Quarantine (USA Version)
Stepdaughter or the last stephdaughter....awesome movie
The hole..not that scary but still awesome overall
The descent 1&2

and many more I have.....but cant remember

It (If your afraid of clowns)

Puppetmaster - This movie scared the living hell out of me

Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Just about all of them are scary

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Human Centipede yet.:sneaky:

Oh my God.. A girl I know told me about that movie recently.. I won't even watch a preview for that shit. I google image searched it and had nightmares.

There's another wierd nasty film of such a nature, it's called Teeth. Heard of that one?

This. I thought The Last House On The Left was really creepy, and I bought it, but now I hate rewatching it because the rape scene was so disturbing. It was waaaaaay too graphic and it took up what felt like an overly long portion of the movie.

As far as some of the scariest movies I've seen they are: The Exorcist, Silent Hill, Thirteen Ghosts, 1408, House Of Wax, House On Haunted Hill, Friday the 13th, The People Under The Stairs, Resident Evil, Quarantine, Doom, The Amityville Horror (the newest remake), Pet Sematary, Wrong Turn, Ghost Ship, It, and The Thing.

Some of these may obviously not be the scariest movies EVAR...but I really liked some of the effects in them and the stories were pretty good.

I'm more into old school horror. Blood and guts flying everywhere just doesn't do it for me.

Carrie: This is more sad than scary and I was quite rooting for Carrie at the end. But still a good film

Psycho: Yeah it's cliched, but it's a good movie. And I disagree that the shower scene is the scariest in this movie. It's definently more towards the end.

Night of the Living Dead: This one still works. It's more about conflict between the characters and it really works well. Since I can be claustrophobic sometimes, this movie still scares me.

The Ring: This movie creeped me out. I know people claim that it isn't scary, but I was hiding under my blankets in the 7th day and I had my TV facing the wall XD

Poltergeist: People will probably disagree, but this scared me as a kid. It's a little cheesy watching now but I still love the movie.

Evil Dead: great film and by far one of the more disturbing/wtf rape scenes.

The original Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. I don't really like horror movies but these were awesome. True zombie horror at its best. They are classic and very enjoyable to watch.

I too, would also recommend Evil Dead. One of my favorites movies of all time. Bruce Campbell is great. It's hard to do scary and funny at the same time but this movie pulled it off.
