Oppression: RP

Wendy opened her hazel eyes and noticed she had fallen asleep within the cloud she herself made. She started too panic as she did not know where she was and it was frightening.

She was used too falling asleep in clouds due too it being hard for her too find a decent place in the normal people's world. However she had no idea where she was now and it was scary for her.

She looked through the cloud and looked down on the ground as she was floating above some sort of house or building of some sort. Not knowing all about the different structures where people lived she was awfully interested in it.

However as she moved her cloud closer too this place she could feel a strong force coming from there. One being somewhat familiar and the other being unbelievably strong. She did not know what too do with this odd feeling striking through her.

It was then she slowly lost control of her cloud as it drifted over the area and behind it. This was not what she wanted as she started too panic to get control over it again. She could then slowly feel the cloud dissipating before her very eyes and as it disappeared she fell rapidly down towards the ground.

"EeeeeEEEeeEEEEeeeeee!!!"

With a massive squeel she hit the ground on her back first, the mere impact throwing her into the air just so she could land on the ground again. She was not too hurt, but that was very unfortunate. What if someone had seen her fall from a cloud.

She stood up and brushed her raven black hair and repositioned her red hat before she started too think of what she should do next. She started too walk towards the place and stepped on her own scarf and fell face first too the ground with a big thump.

"Ugh.."

Flinging herself from the ground and into the air she rubbed her face as she whimpered for a few seconds brushed her golden and brown scarf of all the dirt. She was however surprised that her white shirt and her loose black skirt have not had any damage too it yet.

Her curiosity and adventurous way of live had to get the better of her as she decided she wanted too take a look where the energy came from. She flew up too the nearest window and took a peek too see if anyone was there, not thinking about that she could be sen.

Volante hummed quietly to herself as she skipped happily down the sidewalk of New York City. Her hair was let down out of her usual bun as an act of a paper thin disguise. Despite the fact she didn't look very different, she wasn't getting mauled by random pedestrians. Despite the fact Volante was just a kid, she was a rather famous idol singer in New York City. With a lot of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears; Volante became what she was today. Despite this, she still attended school and graduated from the sixth grade just days ago.

To start off her summer break, Volante went to buy some ice cream from a vendor, but received a message from her production agency before she had a chance to actually buy some ice cream. With a sigh, Volante answered her pending call.

"Hello? Volante speaking!" Volante said with a cheer, but her face went back to neutral after hearing the man on the other side of the phone speaking. With a hearty yes, Volante hung up her cellphone and placed it back in the inside pocket of her green jacket. Despite the fact her day off didn't go exactly as planned, Volante was happy that she was helping her agency. If she helped with this plan, the caller told her she'd get even more fans and go global.

With no reason to doubt the nice man, Volante walked down two more blocks until she came to a square with people passed out and sleeping. In contrast to New York's busy atmosphere, this section was eerily silent and had the feeling of a dead zone.

With a huff and a flick of her hair, Volante skipped off in the direction her intuition tugged her in. There seemed to be some kind of magnetic energy that drew her in a specific path.

The feeling stopped at a specific building. Volante took out her cellphone, and took a snapshot of said building. With a quick text, sent the text to headquarters who would hopefully direct it to the other agents of the government trying to track down rogue elementals. Volante was told these rogue elementals were bad people, and that capturing them would boost her popularity.

Into the building she went, wanting to make sure her intuition was right. Volante peered around two women, one slumped against a wall and one rather confused. Volante decided that now was better than never, and went up to the two women to greet them.

"Hi! I'm Volante! Voh-lawn-tay! You know, the singing idol of this city? I came by to visit every one of my lovely fans on my day off! What's your names? Would you like an autograph? Would you like to hear me sing? Whatever you want, I'm always happy to help a fan!" Volante bombarded these two girls with questions in earnest. She felt the energy that she felt earlier around the slumped over girl and knelt down next to her. Volante had no regard for personal space, and began shaking the poor girl until she woke up.

"Now's not the time for you to sleep miss! A very wonderful chance for you has come! Now rise and shine!" Volante smiled, she wanted to at least check the person out before somethinghappened to them later.

"You can't keep operating on little sleep and too much coffee, Luciana," said Harrison.

Mentor and student were walking side by side down the streets of New York. The government had strangely given them both the day off from missions. The information that they'd acquired from Luciana was satisfactory enough for them to work with. Harrison shook his head, ashamed of Luciana taking the easy route out of sleeping. She'd been awake for two days straight and felt that she didn't need to sleep anymore.

"I don't want to sleep," Luciana said. Her tone wasn't even cold or cruel. There may have been, for the first time, some worry in her voice. She stopped walking and unexpectedly dropped her cup of coffee.

Harrison was by her side instantly. He did not look particularly concerned, but was worried enough to see that there was some emotion breaking through that cold shell. However, he suddenly fell asleep on the floor. Luciana glanced around her, noticing that everyone was falling asleep as well. So why was she the only one left standing amongst them all?

"Harrison!" she cried out, bending down to him. "Harrison, you heartless bastard! Wake up! Wake up now, you son of a bitch!" Her cold shell emerged once more after her little outburst and she slapped his face in an attempt to awaken him. To her dismay, it did nothing. Bastard! Who's done this!?

"Agent Lightning, come in!"

"Agent Lightning present," said Luciana, connecting to the headquarters with her earpiece. She never went anywhere without it.

"We've reports of a disturbance in the entire city. A power source very close to you ... in fact, it's the same penthouse you attacked several hours ago. Proceed with caution, Agent Lightning. There are at least two elemental energies in there."

"To hell with it! Caution my ass," she mumbled under her breath, doing something she hadn't done before. She had switched off the earpiece. Luciana had a very strong feeling that her previous target was in there. Her words rang throughout her mind like wildfire.

With no one awake, it was the perfect opportunity. Luciana ran towards the nearest drainpipe, feeling that awful sensation of deja vu kicking in, and climbed up to get inside one of the penthouses. The one that she was aiming for had its glass window fixed. She wanted to be sneaky this time. As she climbed through the window of the penthouse next to the one she was aiming for, Luciana was quick to notice that the occupants of it were asleep as well.

She readied an electrical charge in her right hand, her best shooting hand. She opened the front door and turned to her right, ready to go through to the penthouse. Her spare hand was shaking, as it reached for the door. As soon as it opened, Luciana decided to charge forwards. However, all did not go according to plan. She didn't count on the sleeping person right next to the door, which caused her to stumble forwards smack right back into the penthouse and the electrical charge slipped out of her hand, aimlessly charging forwards ...

Wendy looked into the window noticing two females in the house. She was looking at them with a confused look as one seemed somewhat tired. The other one seemed somewhat recognizable. Could it be one of the girls from before?

Bringing up her camera she started too take pictures of them as she likes too document such stuff. However shortly after a much younger looking girl enters which seemed too have a much more cute and cheerful aura surrounding her.

"Aww.. she's so-- wait isn't that the cute idol girl?! Wow I have heard of her!"

Talking too herself she finally started too flare the blitz as she rapidly took pictures of the child idol cause it's not often you get a opportunity to take a picture of a celebrity. Without knowing it herself she was taking pictures upside down as she started too float carelessly outside the window.

"Wa?!"

That was when she could feel a electric sensation going through the air one much like the one she felt from before she fell asleep in her cloud. Could it be that lightning user that attacked the girl?

As she thought off that woman she appeared with a electrical charge in her hand, but stumbled and sent the electrical charge forward. Wendy was worried that this could turn into a huge battle, but who was the good guys?! She could not know and she did not want to get dragged into a battle she did not know the sides of. Still her curiosity got the better of her as she stayed too take more pictures even thou it was starting too get heated in there.

Serenity could feel herself waking up. Luckily, elementals could go days without sleep and feel totally fine, this was something Serenity had discovered through her exploration of her powers. Her brief nap left her feeling totally refreshed.

Something’s not right here, Serenity thought, still waking up. Then she noticed someone was shaking her. Panicking, Serenity jumped to her feet and used her powers to throw her assailant to the other side of the room.

What on earth is going on?
Serenity was raging. An unreasonably happy child is accosting me, and the girl I rescued earlier seems to have raided my wardrobe. Raising her eyebrow in disapproval, Serenity turned to pay attention to the girl, that’s my Gothic Lolita Halloween costume from.. ooh, it must have been years ago… I forgot I still have that. She can have it, I guess. Snapping herself out of it, Serenity remembered her chirpy new friend. Now, for my unwelcome visitor.

Serenity turned to the stranger, a mixture of anger and confusion distorting her face. “Who. Are. You.” She pointed a slender finger at the girl and began advancing towards her, taking a step with each word “How did you get in?” Serenity paused… Oh good grief, I forgot the barrier!

Serenity spun round to see her door, just in time to see it being blasted open, and narrowly avoiding being hit by a lightning bolt, as a woman stumbled into her penthouse. Good lord, Serenity cursed, no visitors in two years, now I might as well install a revolving door!

Lily felt overwhelmed by this whole ordeal. Her eyes widened with shock and horror as the girl ran into the main room of the penthouse without being invited, and began shaking the woman who was slumped against the wall. Lily clutched her heart, worried for the woman, sensing the power in the girl who had barged in and began shaking everything up.

"Get off her." Lily found her voice going cold against her will, but she didn't say it again. She wanted to be firm and unyielding towards this girl. "Please. You don't have a place here." She took a step backwards despite herself. She knew how to speak, but she just didn't know how to take action. She just didn't know what to do.

Then came the sudden burst of power from the woman on the floor, the woman who had rescued her, and the new visitor was instantly hurled across the room. Lily wasn't sure what to do, so she did what came naturally, which was to run towards the door.

Then a jolt of instinct made her jump away from the door as a woman seemed to fall in, a bolt of electricity surging over her head. Lily could feel the crackle as her hair stood up on end with the electricity relentlessly charging overhead. It made Lily uncomfortable as she buried her head into the penthouse floor and waited for the lightning to pass.

When she lifted her head, she noticed... a girl, flying outside. This was getting weirder and weirder. She was on a cloud... with a camera? God... could it get any stranger.

As she stood up, her head hurting, straight backed and frantic as she scanned the apartment desperately for some sign of what was going on. Lily cried out as she saw the blond woman. She recognised her. Where had she come from? And where did Lily recognise her from?

How the hell could she, Luciana Sanfield and otherwise known as the incredible Agent Lightning, fall over a simple person passing in the hall? She fell on to the ground with a loud thud and her face smacked the floor hard. Then the pain came. Luciana couldn't fight the pain this time, she allowed it to naturally flow through her body like her heart would beat every few seconds. But still. Again, how could her downfall come so easily?

The charge had flown over one of her target's heads. Luciana felt a bruise forming on the bottom of her chin, but that was the least of her worries right now. She swiftly leapt back on to her feet and straightened her vision, which had become blurry from the impact of the fall. She focused and then instantly noticed three people. One was a girl whom she'd never seen before, the other was her previous target and the other was ... Voltante!? Luciana didn't know why she was here, but kept her cool as not to expose her.

But her previous target was the main one responsible here.

"Thought you could get away from me!?" she yelled angrily, her voice screeching loudly.

Lightning gathered around her hands like a fiery fire igniting.

"Can't function in society!? Who did you think you were talking to you, you abomination!?" screamed Luciana, as she sent her electrical charges and lightning bolts towards the target.

Dies felt battered from the last run. It had been a while since she had this much trouble and she became lax. She was home, however, package sitting underneath her pillow. There was still ages till she was due in to hand over the small package, so lazing a catching her breath seemed perfectly reasonable. Kicking off her boots and flopping heavily onto the bed, Dies moaned like an undead, each muscles on her left side felt bruised and crushed from slamming at high speed into the wall. It wasn't pleasant. A shower would have solved the soreness, but Dies chose sleep over the hot water. Her eyes flickered and she felt sleep coming over when she felt a massive surge in her mind.

What the...?

Dies bolted straight up in her bed. She has no idea what the hell that was. It wasn't painful or anything, but lit up in her mind like a signal flare. Oddly enough, it felt like it was near where she was earlier that night.

Could it be connected to that freak lightning?

Dies juggled with the choice of going back out, or staying in. Instincts told her to ignore it, but Dies wasn't one to let her mind forget about something. Bounding off her bed, Dies slipped back on her long coat and fedora before grabbing the package and stuffing it in one of the large inner pockets in her coat.

Maybe ill deliver this earlier? It might make him happier that im not skimming the deadline for once.....

Ignoring the main stairs, Dies jumped out her window and slid down the fire exit. She had appropriated it for her own private use, not that anyone else used it. Landing with a thud on the ground, Dies jogged out, her destination still undecided.

"Thought you could get away from me!?" This new attacker shouted.

Good grief, first she comes into my home, then she starts flinging abuse around. Serenity stared at her newest unwelcome guest. She had a look on her face that Serenity could only describe as deranged; her eyes locked on the girl Serenity had rescued earlier.

Serenity’s turned herself to face this mysterious new enemy, ignoring the hyperactive girl.

"Can't function in society!? Who did you think you were talking to you, you abomination!?" the strange woman began screaming, and Serenity braced herself.

As the attacker threw electricity at the injured girl, Serenity sprung into action, ignoring her pacifistic beliefs to protect an innocent, Serenity threw both her arms forwards into the air. This allowed Serenity to freeze the electrical charges in mid-air with her powers. Smirking, Serenity’s eyes flashed with anger as she flung the electrical projectiles back towards their creator, smoke blasting into the air on impact.

Serenity glared at the girl she had just protected “Move, you fool!” and then moved to place herself between the girl and her attacker.

Using her scariest voice, Serenity addressed this new enemy directly, glaring into the smoke cloud “This is my home. And you are not welcome here. Picking on innocent little girls? How disgraceful. Try picking on me.” Serenity’s voice was eerily calm throughout, she knew if she kept calm, and took advantage of her opponent’s rage, she had the upper hand “This one might not be able to control her powers… but I’m a whole different ball game.” Serenity moved into an attacking stance, one arm outstretched, ready to fight this creature.

Volante was flung against the wall, and with a gasp hit the wall. It didn't hurt too much since Volante was an elemental, but it still knocked the wind out of her. After catching her breath, she slowly got to her feet. However, the one girl on the ground addressed her in a rather rude manner. Volante smiled regardless, and raised a hand into the air.

"I'm Volante! I just came by because I felt like it! You are...?" Volante noticed she was being ignored. What nerve this person had ignoring her! Volante was about to protest when she looked up and saw a woman enter the room with a burst of lightning. With a shudder Volante remembered who the woman was.

That's the scary lady from the agency who sent me the text! I guess she got my text message? I'll just sit here, I don't want to get involved.

Volante decided to shut up, and prepare a light based assault if needed to get away. She listened to the exchange between the three women, not really seeing a place in it.

These three are so scary...

It was too late for Luciana to notice that the other girl had gotten involved when her own electrical charges flung back towards her and blasted her into the wall. Groaning, Luciana felt shaky when she got back on her feet. It was most likely an after effect of the lightning striking her. So this was how it felt to be electrocuted. Interesting. Smoke blasted into the air on impact. Luciana coughed lightly. Serenity placed herself between Lily and Luciana. Things were about to get scary. But being the emotionless and apathetic person she was, Luciana couldn't quite frankly give a toss.

Even the scary voice didn't do it for her. She didn't feel intimidated by it, but she was so curious. The new opponent was the second person in less than a day to directly confront her. Her mind filled with excitement, almost as if this were a challenge or a mind game. Oho, and now she wanted to fight her? This was most certainly exciting!

"So you were the second energy source? Most interesting," said Luciana, switching her earpiece. "Agent Lightning here. Track my coordinates. I've found the energy source. Two of them. One's the previous target and the other? Let's just say she's an imbecile in the way, who's also elemental. Agent Lightning over and out."

And with that, she switched it back off again.

"My, my ... she wasn't such an innocent little girl last night, was she now? Anyone who disgraces my name has to be punished. It's a shame, really. She was strong enough to stand up to me last night. Look at her now! Cowering like the mere fool she once was and she needs the biggest baddest elemental nearest to her to defend her? I'll pick on you. Oh, I will, all right ..."

Luciana failed to notice lightning was sparking off her body. It was more than feeling shaky that her previous attack had on her. Seeing Lily's face was enough to force her to lose control. An uncontrollable rage filled her veins.

"You'll remember my name while you pass out! IT'S LUCIANA SANFIELD!"

Her entire body shook with anger and she screamed painfully, as lightning spurted out of it towards them all. Luciana knew she was losing control. She knew the consequences. But this was her personal problem. She was going to deal with it her way.

Lily stepped back instintively, her eyes narrowing as she tried to force the fear away, or at least not look so pathetic. Ugh. Shit shit shit. It was times like these that Lily wished she had a weapon... like a gun or a high powered grenade, or a katana... or something. In the meantime, Lily dealt with standing and watching as the woman spoke into her earpiece.

One minute this intruder was Agent Lightning, the next she was Luciana Sanfield. Could she not make up her mind? Regardless, it confused Lily and made her head hurt, so she decided to call her by her more realistic name, Luciana.

Still, there wasn't much time to think. This Luciana was calling her and abomination, and accusing her of things she had no memory of. What was going on? Was this woman off her head on something or other? Now she was forming more lightning. Holy crap it was huge. And now she was hurling it around the apartment.

As a huge cluster of electricity soared towards her face, Lily's eyes widened, and she stood, frozen with shock and terror, as it arced towards her. A deafening clang made her jump, as the lightning stopped dead in its tracks, stalled by some kind of invisible force field. Lily watched in awe as the lightning fizzled out and turned to dim golden sparks fluttering through the air. Lily suddenly felt an immense energy drain, a pain lurking behind her eyes as she dropped to her knees, looking up at Luciana with fear and resentment.

(OOC: Yep. It's Adult Reryn at the moment. I'll leave a note from now on as to when she changes her form =P)

"Why thank you. I do try my hardest, and I do enjoy the occasional good book. Oh, where are my manners? I'm Thompson, Dyne Thompson. Would you like some slightly cold pizza? Unfortunately, that's all I can offer you, besides maybe a good conversation."

Reryn allowed a small smirk to tug at the corners of her cherry pink lips. Perhaps it was the fact that her body had not long been nourished that amused her, or perhaps it was the fact this man thought her forms could be sated by everyday, human food. She almost laughed as she sat upon a swiftly formed block of ice that would serve as her chair. Reryn was not normally one to display her power in such mediocre ways, but she figured it was better to show him what power she housed this way rather than drawing him into a fight. After all, his power could far surpass her own for all she knew. Or he could be just like all the others... but she knew he was different. He did not give off the same air as the sickly humans.

"As much as I would love to take you up on that offer, Dyne," she smiled softly, trying out his name for the first time. It was a simple to say name; one that rolled right off her tongue. She liked it. "I have not long eaten, and like any young woman, I am conscious of my figure and eating more than my fill."

Tracing her lip lightly with her tongue and turning her eyes to the sky, Reryn sighed softly. "I'll more than happily take you up on that good conversation, however." She giggled softly; a surprisingly girlish sound. "Those who work under me... well, they don't have enough intelligence between them to hold a semi-decent conversation. At least, not one that doesn't work on one syllable responses."

The night air brushed against her skin and Reryn allowed her eyes to close against it. "It's peaceful out here..." she said softly. "It's been a while since I've left my office and had time to myself to enjoy the darkness. It's surprising how time consuming life can be sometimes."

Pushing herself off her icy seat, Reryn turned with all the grace of a dancer, a happy smile on her pale face. "It's nice to finally have some time to feel... free... The name's Reryn, by the way."

Chapter III: Just another day in the office...

After I finally arrived at the office, I was harassed by the numerous appointments I had scheduled for today. At 7:30 am I was meant to meet the an officer of the Skyline Pharmaceutical seeking a possible corporative fusion with my company, something I kinda looked forward to. Skyline Inc. was renown for its different studies involving common and rare diseases, but of course that wasn't I was interested. Unbeknown to most people, Skyline Pharmaceutical had a Bio-weaponry Division which focused on the creation of new viral weapons, artificially enhanced super soldiers, and of course, the research pertaining to these "individuals" (in others words, those who shared my curse...). Dr. Bradford, a middle-aged man came to my office early, and I happened to just arrive in time. I was waiting for him at my office, which had a clear view of the Chrysler Building. In my office I had an executive office desk (the black desk had a hardened acrylic surface and four serpent shaped legs). There were several paintings decorating the office and at least two statues, one being a small 6 feet tall replica of Aphrodite of Milos, and the other being a very abstract one which looked like a dragon's claw surrounded by thorn vines (I was seriously considering getting rid of that one). As I sat on my leather black armchair, I suddenly heard the phone ringing.

"Mr. Kilmer, Dr. Bradford is waiting." -the secretary replied with a tender yet very professional tone. Anette has been my secretary for 6 months by now. She was very gorgeous, I never asked her age (I didn't hire her directly) but I infer she must be around 22. Anette was brunette, and she was wearing today a red skirt which was only a few inches above her knees and seriously made her curves stand out. She also had a red blouse which was buttoned in away that slightly showed her cleavage. I seriously don't know if she wore that on purpose or if it was part of her culture...nevertheless, she was "cute", but not enough to inspire me to make a romantic approach (and like a friend said, those cute girls are just a jail-bait, another sexual harassment case you'll obviously win after paying a few people). Anyway, I authorized Anette to tell Dr. Bradford to enter my office.

The ever arrogant and power hungry Nathan S. Kilmer had his elbows resting on his desk while he held his hands together, toying with his index fingers. There was a uneasy grin carved on his face as he separated his hands, leaned back against the chair and then gestured with his left hand asking Dr. Bradford to sit.

"Please doctor, be my guest. Can I offer you a drink? Vodka, cognac, or perhaps a good ol' Château Margaux perhaps?"- As the doctor took a sit before desk, Nathan stood up and approached a dark pine wine rack which was located to the left of the desk (from Nathan's side). The pine rack was handmade, 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, and it had a small drawer from which Nathan pulled two wine cups. He then proceeded to reach a bottle of red wine and filled them with the exquisite fluid. He then sealed the bottled, put it back in the rack. Nathan grabbed both cups, and walked towards Dr. Bradford, extending the cup in his left hand towards the doctor. The doctor hesitantly agreed to the drink as Nathan walked back to his desk and sat on his armchair.

"Don't worry doctor, I am not going to poison you."
-Nathan said as he proceeded to bring the cup to his lips. Nathan grinned as felt the warm fluid going down his throat. He then left the cup on the desk and reached his briefcase, pulling from it several files labeled as "confidential".

"These are the reports I got from my agent who is working with the government. We have a list of several of these 'elementals' as well as detailed information that could help us track them down. As you can see, our mutual enthusiasm in these 'specimens' hence why you'll find my proposal quite appealing to the best interests for both companies. I know that Skyline is not necessary in its best economical state after the explosion of one of its Research Sites 3 months ago. Counting several lawsuits from the families nearby as well as the sum Skyline had to pay to clean the mess, I am sure I have made an offer that will be quite hard to resist."-Nathan proceeds to turn the pages of the document- "In the following documents I have included a clause in which we make clear that my company will provide funding to ensure Skyline's on the sole condition that I, Nathan S. Kilmer, takes part of your investigation as well as getting a detailed report every week on your progress. As a man of science myself, I am only doing what every man of science should do; support the progress of knowledge"
- Nathan stated as he smiled with a grim satisfaction knowing that he had cornered Dr. Bradford giving him only one chance for Skyline Inc. to survive the tsunami of lawsuits that was near.

"This...this is insane! What you are asking is direct access to our research files. For what purpose? Please forgive me for being skeptical to your seemingly altruistic behavior..."- Dr. Bradford hissed as he rose from the chair and prepared to leave. Nathan then stood up and slammed his hands at the desk, thus making the fleeing doctor halt.

"My intentions are my own besides you are in no condition to make any demands. You know very well that just like I can save your company I can very much give it the extra push it needs to sink. Take it or leave it...your choice. The government is already cooperating with me, I don't see a reason why you shouldn't. Besides, all is a matter of money and finding the 'right' price..."-Nathan affirmed as he reached for his pen and offered it to Bradford.

"There are some things you can't buy Nathan..."- Bradford added as he walked back towards the desk and grabbed the pen. The doctor held the document as he hesitantly began to sign it, finally cementing the agreement between companies. Pleased, Nathan took the contract and put it inside a black folder. "You see doctor? It wasn't that hard...this is a choice you won't regret. I will ask Anette to lead you to the roof. Your new helicopter awaits..." Nathan said as he took the folder containing the document and placed it inside his vault. The doctor's eyes widened amazed by how Nathan was slowly driving him into bribery. Moments later the doctor had already exit the building heading back towards Skyline HQ.

My plan is finally set in motion. With each passing day my goal keeps drawing closer and closer until soon it will be within my reach. In a matter of months, I'll have the city under my complete control and then I'll be ready to spread my influence through the Congress and the White House. Once I have the full power of the government and all of the Federal Agencies at my disposal. The satellites around the world as well as the Enhanced Global Positioning System will allow me to track down any elemental foolish enough to overuse his or her powers. Imbeciles, little do they know that there will be no safe haven to hide. The answers that I seek will be answered soon. The origin of the voice will be revealed and I will finally immortalize my legacy.

Suddenly, an deep and intense sound was heard originating from the hidden computer in his office. Nathan was surprised to see that the EGPS was working so soon. Nathan locked his office and then pressed under his desk. The switch made the acrylic surface covering the desk turn into a giant touch screen computer. As his fingers went all over the screen, several alarm windows began to pop, signaling the location of an immense power source originating here, in New York city.

Interesting, I know that building. To think that these beings were right under our very noses, hiding among the high class apartments of New York. Now all I have to do is hijack into the security cameras and guest records to see who is currently inhabiting "that" penthouse. I could, teleport there....but that would blow up my cover. Better let the government do the dirty work for me.

Good grief, this woman likes the sound of her own voice, Serenity rolled her eyes, before glaring at her opponent, her eyes not leaving the woman’s face. Serenity noticed electricity sparking off the woman’s body, she’s running out of control, advantage – Serenity, she smirked, she wasn’t afraid of this deranged monster.

"You'll remember my name while you pass out! IT'S LUCIANA SANFIELD!"

And, with that, lightning began shooting out at all directions, while the woman screamed. Serenity deflected any of the bolts from hitting her, and protected the other two girls in the room, lightning bolts spiraling everywhere, destroying everything they touched. Smoke filled the room.

She’s more dangerous than I imagined, Serenity was alarmed, she can’t control her powers, and she could kill us all. Shielding her eyes from the smoke with her arms, Serenity focused, planning her counter attack.

Time to put you to sleep, Serenity used her powers to lift the woman into the air, and then slammed her into the wall, with such force that the apartment shook. “Bye bye” Serenity sang in a sing song voice, before throwing the woman out of the window.

Motioning to the other two girls to stay still, Serenity walked over to the now destroyed wall, and looked down to see where her attacker had landed…

Luciana only had chance to notice a few things.

She noticed that the girl who had challenged her easily deflected any of the bolts aimed towards her. Even though her bolts started to destroy the place, she didn't care. She was on her knees, begging to be released of this agony. Well, if agony was the right word to use, anyway. The smoke was ironic because it could've easily filled her lungs. She was apathetic right now, not caring about anything else.

However, it was about to get worse. Luciana felt her body being forcefully lifted into the air against her will and was slammed into the wall. It didn't exactly knock her out, but it added on to the huge pain that she was feeling right now. She heard the sing song tone in Serenity's voice. Luciana opened her eyes, the last thing being seen was the balcony, which was distancing itself from herself. Or rather she was falling away from it ...

Falling from grace, Luciana stared up at the blue sky.

It looked so beautiful for the very first time. Why had she never appreciated it for its symbol of freedom before? Life seemed like a mere dream to her right now, as death would surely bring forth the reality of everything. After what seemed to be a lifetime of falling into nothingness, her body finally landed on top of a New York taxi. Her back smashed on to it, putting the final nail in her coffin.

But even so, the sky still looked the same. Nothing had changed.

"Aaaahhh ... b ... b ... bitch ..." she murmured.

Everyone was still asleep on the streets. Luciana gathered whatever strength may have been left in her broken body and ended up toppling to her right, on to the pavement. Her face stung when she hit the cold floor, but it was also comforting right now. She could feel her vision fading away, however, she was determined to get out of sight. No, this couldn't be explained to the public. The government operated strictly when it came to their policies. If she were seen in the street and ...

There was no time to even think.

Luciana moved her arms and legs to the best of her ability to the nearby alley. Once she was out of sight, she stopped and leant against the wall. Blood was pouring from her stomach now that she had taken out the glass shard stuck inside it. Her hand shook violently and fearfully. This was not looking good. As soon as she dropped the shard, she fell to her right hand side and wrapped her arms fiercely around her stomach.

Tears would not emerge. There was only the expression of genuine agony, as her eyes became lifeless and unmoving.

"Oh dear.."

Wendy was watching the lightning woman starting her assault of lightning as she screamed her own name too the girls that were in the house even thou it seemed too be directed towards the woman with the psychic powers that deflected the lightning.

It was then the woman was grabbed by the psychic womans powers and slammed towards the wall. Wendy was amazed by the power she was showing off.

"Oh no! Oh no no no no no!"

It was then the lightning woman was thrown out of the window she was looking into and before she even could react she propelled towards the pavement as the woman crashed into the taxi.

Wendy opened her eyes as she could feel a stinging pain in her back, but as she moved her hand she could feel the air swirling around her meaning the air itself had protected her from most of the impact. She was quite pleased how the air acted as a guardian towards her even thou it was her own subconscious use of her powers.

Placing her hands at the ground she concentrated air into her palms and threw herself up and landed on her right foot with the left one crossed behind her right foot. She looked at the taxi that the lightning woman had landed on, but she had already vanished before she managed too get back up.

She brushed of her skirt and levitated towards the house area and flew up towards the window that was now broken. With a swift hand motion she brought her camera up and took a picture of the psychic woman before giving her a smile and a wave.

"Hello there!"

She had a goofy look on her face to try and ease the tension of the mood as they most likely would be quite confused or agitated by this. Either way Wendy felt no harm from them. Hopefully they would not attack her and if they did she would be gone faster than they could blink.

Dyne watched as the woman in front of him conjured up a block of ice to sit on. He wasn't very amazed by it, and in fact was somewhat wondering if her bum was cold. However, he knew better than to ask a silly question like that. Even though, he was very curious about it, even if he really shouldn't have been.

He was somewhat disappointed in the fact that she didn't want any pizza. He was full, and would rather not have it go to waste, but somethings simply couldn't be helped he supposed.

"Those who work under me... well, they don't have enough intelligence between them to hold a semi-decent conversation. At least, not one that doesn't work on one syllable responses."

Dyne knew that feeling all too well. It was annoying at times when he would sit down, and actually try to talk to one of his employees, only to have them not understand where he was coming from, or never speaking their minds. Or even worse, not speaking to him because of the fact that he looked different.

"It's been a while since I've left my office and had time to myself to enjoy the darkness. It's surprising how time consuming life can be sometimes."

It had been quite sometime since he had left his office as well. In fact, he rarely ever left. It was rather annoying, and he was wondering why he never got out much anymore. He supposed it was due to people being scared of him and what not. However, now here's this woman, talking to him as an equal. He greatly appreciated it. It was a rather refreshing change of pace.

She gracefully hopped off of her seat, turned and said,
"It's nice to finally have some time to feel... free... The name's Reryn, by the way."

"It's very nice to meet you, Reryn. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to finally meet someone like myself. I mean, you being able to control ice and all. I'm able to do something similar." He lifted his hand and created a small orb of shadow, and just as easily as he created it, he turned his and and it was gone.

"It's very nice to know I'm not the only one.", he said, taking another small bite out of a slice of pizza. "So, what brings you to this wonderful rooftop of mine? Are you sure I can't offer you a drink, or anything? I have some champagne, if you would like... Also, you mentioned an office, and people that work under you. What kind of business are you in?"

He suspected that if she was anything like him, it would more or less be the same type of business he was in. However, he wanted to know more about her, and was more than happy to ask questions he quite possibly already knew the answers to.

Lily gasped as the intruder was slammed into the wall in a brutal display of power. Despite the fact that this woman had tried to hunt Lily down and capture her, and had now tried to take her out in a place that she had thought was safe, Lily winced inwardly at the thought of the pain the woman must be enduring as she was slammed into the wall. However, it was nothing compared to the shock that came next.

As the woman who had saved her threw the woman out of the window. Lily cried out as she saw the woman fly for those brief few seconds, and then start to fall. So startled was Lily that she didn't even properly register the cry of
"Oh no! Oh no no no no no!" or even the crunch that was undoubtedly this Luciana Sanfield hitting the ground. She was merely focussed on how the woman who had been her savior, who she had thought was a hero, had so callously sent the invading woman to an inevitable death. It made her head spin. Yet again. She was getting seriously tired of that feeling now.

Her brain confused and overwhelmed, she did what came naturally, and turned, calmly walking out of the penthouse apartment without even looking back, her expression calm even though her mind was in turmoil. She wanted to run, not walk! What the hell was wrong with her body, and why the hell wouldn't it run?!

As she eventually stepped out of the main building, and into the cool, crisp dawn air, she continued walking, only sparing a quick glance towards the girl with a camera, then looking up at the telekinetic woman again, walking on and looking at Luciana, undoubtedly dead in the alleyway, before folding her arms and continuing.

OOC: Hardly a masterpiece, but Lily is now available for someone to find her. Most likely it should be Jess or Tipsy's character to include them in the main plot, but I have no objection to an evil character finding her.

OOC: Shotgun! I did set my character to go to where the fight had been.

On the last second, Dies decided against it. Dyne had a tendency to get a bit irky when she popped up when she was not expected. Or at the very least, the last few times she did, he wasn't in a particularly fine mood. Instead, her foot took her back to where she had been last night. Funny enough, a small fuzzy was pricking at the back of her head and seemingly felt like it was taking her somewhere. Before she knew it, the fuzz had moved to the top her her head. Where Dies stood right now was directly beneath where she had seen the lightning last night.

Coincidence? I think not.

As she had believed last time, Dies knew she stood out like a sore thumb, so instead began to turn into the alley way when she spotted a girl walk out of the same building. It was odd. She looked off, but Dies couldnt put her finger on it. Her instincts from the underground told her to walk off, but then she was inquisitive as ever. Her hand rested on the stun baton on her waist, just in case the girl jumped.

Miss...are you alright?

She approached her slowly, Even though she was going against her instincts, the girl was a bit suspicious, but then she herself shouldn't talk. Still, no need to drop her guard.
