Early this morning a site for Call of Duty: Black Ops went live, now Activision has officially confirmed the game, saying it hits stores on Nov. 9, 2010 and will be developed by Treyarch


Activision needs to stop Whoring out there top franchises.

ok lol one of my film projects was called Black Ops,what a coincidence.I heard that this game will be about killing vietnamise people,the vietnam war,so that means in online we will get to play as these evil asians or americans.
 
Ever since Infinity Ward has split up with Activision, Call of Duty won't be the same. And now that they're going back into vintage era, there is no way in hell I'm even going to bother looking at this game.

I hate War Era games with a passion nowadays, there are just too many of them.

Medal of Honor and CoD are the only War Era games I like, everything else sucks.
 
Pfft, it sounds like they've even stopped trying with the subtitles. "Black Ops" - is that really supposed to sound exciting? It sounds a little generic to me because I've seen the word "Ops" used a number of times in recent years. And apparently it features Vietnam, the Arctic and Cuba.

The good thing is - they sound like a breath of fresh air after the countless WWII-set games by Treyarch. Then again - why do I even care? CoD isn't my thing anyway. At least Activision isn't whoring this out to the extent of the Guitar Hero franchise, milking it and diluting it to near-austerity.

This looks pretty sick. The new weapons look awesome, especially the crossbow. Treyarch makes better cod games than infinity ward imo. im not even a big fan of cod but this one looks fun.

The videos from the multiplayer reveal will be available "tomorrow" which means later on today UK time. :rage:
 
dude was that a railgun I just saw? a portable one? you know the ones in mw2 thats mounted and you can use pressing triangle. that is awesome..

Also those new modes seem damn tough.. pistol only and then 1 bullet, then melee if you wasted the damn bullit. freeeking awesome geek!!
or the 1 kill swap weapon mode,,,,,man that is tight.
 
I like the idea behind the wager matches, I just don't like free-for-all in general so I'll probably never play it :lew: The new weapons look sick though, and the game in general sounds better to me than MW2.
 
This game sounds very interesting and I am looking into purchasing it. The one bullet gametype is something that I might like but the wager gametype is something I don't think I will play. The gun game looks amazing to me and I will probably play that one the most. Sharp shooter does not look that bad either.
 
This is a day one purchase for me, definitely worth the money, everybody is bitching about COD being wack etc. yet they pay 60 bucks for other games that are mediocre and average.. with COD you have at least fun and limitless fun compared to other titles.

I really do not agree with you here. Other games as in? May I please know? If you say Halo Reach then you are off the charts :hmph: COD is not the best game to have fun with. Lots of others exist :monster: I shall have you know that Halo Reach gained 200 million dollars on the day it came out. Just checking.

Your assumption is not correct in this case...WhyTF should I mention Halo Reach...that game doesnt exists in my world.

Im talking about NIER and FF13,, both are not worth 60 bucks IMO.

Halo Reach did so well..I cant believe how many retards buy that game :rofl:
The designs of the suits WAS awesome when it was new...its getting old!
I cant stand the sci-fi from it , the sci-fi from it is not even creative imo compared to others.

You have fun with Halo Reach, why should I care bout gaybox and their games. Happy onlining :) with the fee raise..

I will play this cuz its uber fun to play and to each his/hers/ITS own prefferance. I like the (somewhat) realism and apparantly they made the blood and bullets penetrating the body more realisticy (I hope this is true)
like exploding SKULLS !! and LIMBS !!!

TBH i will get this because its a "call of duty" game and would be classed as the "arsehole that didnt buy it" by my fellow friends/clan (besides Tantalus of course love you guys :hug: ) but i am more excited and pumped for gran turismo 5 as i am out growing the Shooter games these days, RPGs and Racers are the future!
 
i heard this game must be Sick i ordered it think i got it in like 3/4 more days :d cant wait if i check movies on youtube there are some really beast vids over there the graphix must be HUGE [what i heard]

They were fun, I don't know where all the hype came from about them though :\ it's been rumoured quite heavily for a while anyway so I'm not surprised. I have heard though that it could end up being DLC for people who have pre-ordered or future DLC. Not too sure on that front though.
