Square Enix mega producer Tetsuya Nomura got on the old Twitter earlier today and wrote the following:

"One day, unannounced titles suddenly... But first comes Re:coded, which is due for release on 10/7. Next comes 3rd. Although before 3rd, we'd like to do something about the heavily requested Archives versions of the 1st and 2nd. Then after 3rd, there are a number of unannounced titles. We'll be going in order. Enjoy."

Are you confused by the beginning of the Tweet? I think Nomura is saying that unannounced titles one day suddenly become announced titles. Or maybe he's saying that one day unannounced titles are suddenly cancelled! Noooooooooo!

Since we already know Nomura has a bunch of unannounced games in the works, I think the only notable point about this post is the mention of the Archive versions of parts 1 and 2 of Parasite Eve. Assuming those plans pan out, it looks like we'll be able to look forward to something bigger than Chocobo in the coming months (Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon is due for release tomorrow).

In other Tweet news, Nomura issued an apology earlier in the day about not being able to understand all the responses he gets from overseas fans. He appears to be surprised by the large number of readers he gets from other countries.

Nomura also began teasing Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show plans early in the morning today. "We've started preparations for Tokyo Game Show," he wrote. "Just earlier, I received a confirmation phone call from staff who are in the office."

The identity of the team that placed the call is a secret, he said.
Square Enix's TGS plans, like the plans for pretty much every other publisher (three weeks to go guys!), have yet to be announced. But Nomura revealed one title, saying that he's started his promotional video editing work with Re:coded. Assuming he's talking about the trailers for Square Enix's Open Mega Theater, you can probably add the DS Kingdom Hearts title to your home TGS score cards.

This is why Twitter is utter crap for important info like this. Either get a real blog and write detailed paragraphs or don't post anything at all...

One day, unannounced titles suddenly...

I.......uh.....um.......what?

Suddenly........Yes? and then he goes "But first comes......"
If you know the english language all you can do is LMAO or your ass as the case may be?

Understand or respond to the responses from Overseas fans?
Im sure he's a busy guy and appreciates the support from fans all over the world.........

Dont be too hard on him PR is not his job..........and Twitter can be a PR disaster if your no good at it!

Yea, don't use Twitter. Use a website, a blog, wordpress....anything, really. It'll make it so you can post quickly and make it very easy to understand with no limit of space. ^,^

I hope they weren't canceled...

Wow, am I the only one who avoided the first sentence, and jumped straight to the last?

there are a number of unannounced titles. We'll be going in order. Enjoy.

Does that not scream possible remakes of V and VI (by going in order?) and thus possibly VII?

I don't think even Nomura understands what he wrote...............

but either way, weather he did or not............I think it's just another way of SE teasing us!

don't let it get to ya..........

don't get your hopes up on a remake on whatever FF either.........

hopefully these so-called "unnanounced titles" will be announced soon.......

TGS next month??

I think when he says in order he means titles that are specifically developed by him. There was an article quite recently that mentioned it, something about Birth By Sleep being first, then 2 or 3 others before Versus and so on.

I kind of agree with the title. There wasn't really anything there that we didn't know already or of much importance except perhaps what the hell he meant by the first sentence.

I mean, we know there are unannounced titles. We know that SE have the first two PE games planned for PSN release. We know that they have Re:Coded, 3rd Birthday and Agito lined up for release. We know that Versus won't be that soon yet.

And I won't bet any chances of a FF remake either yet. If it's ever FFV and FFVI, SE will most likely outsource the development duty to another studio for them, just like they did it for FFIII and FFIV.

So like, as worthless as the news about said worthless shite then?

I am so confused. What's the meaning behind this? I seem to be not following what it's about.

Why did they even make him get a Twitter account if they aren't going to let him say anything about any of the worthwhile projects anyways? Seems like a PR campaign to try and keep the masses happy....when they are really simmering mad about Versus :hmmm:
