Please fix it, it is not updating, how am I meant to keep updated on the latest posts while surfing the forums while bored at work when it's not updating????

I began to feel like the same people were constantly replying to certain posts... in the same order... then I noticed this thread within the 'new posts' window, and I was like 'Oh...'.

So this thing should be fixed, clearly. :'(
 
Ditto; I wasn't aware this thread actually even HAD replies. xD;

I can't even see some posts either; the Newest Replies says that there have been new posts in a topic, but when I go to look I don't see any by the indicated poster...unless I've somehow been banned from seeing new replies in the News Section :ahmed:

...oh, and my posts have been devoured a couple of times now as well. Like, they've gone through, but I haven't been able to see them, so I dunno if they actually DID go through or not.
 
Gingerbread Man, i had to adjust my thread settings (got mine set to 40 posts/page), but yeah, i see what you mean. Where is this elusive page 5!? :mokken:

And yeah, same as others, new replies are broken.
 
If you go to a thread and click 'go advanced' you can see the latest posts in that thread. For example I have seen martel's post and the one directly after saying that it got eaten in the spam thread. So plenty of threads look like they have not been posted in even when you read through it, until you advance reply to it

but I guess the newest replies that are stuck there, will be the most popular threads for a while >.>
 
This has now been fixed, it was a result of an attempted performance improvement on our part :)
 
It was me, I tripped over the power cable in the server room :(
