I had a quick squizz through your thread beacause I can, and I'd like to say I am very envious. You're so good at painting in that awesome blocky style, your blacks look so shiny and your lines are really crisp and amazing.

I am no good with paint at all :rage: How do you get it so perfect?

One day I will commission you to do a Bowie one. :mokken: you'd really do him justice with your style! I will watch out for more :jess:

Also Bob Marley is the shit! :grin:

AH I thought it was Bob Marley! Steve has a few shirts with him on it and I wasn't sure if it was definitely him or not in your painting until Richard and Toni comfirmed it was. XD

im not sure I can work with the lighting on his face, there'll be no features to paint, not sure im capable of drawing true to life faces :wacky:

i can work with the whole thing on the first one, scarf and hair (y) face (n)

And Ive got a queue, so Im not sure how long this would take me to get round too, though, I do really like that scarf, not often I dabble in colour
 
Oh hey i dont mind waiting at all. What il do is. 2moro il open it in ps and change the lighting like i did with the jim one? :hmmm: Il see if i can get something easier for you to work with and il post it here. Il leave the scarf in colour aswell if i make the rest black and white :andry:

il have a proper look at it and see what I can do, im just wondering how the face will turn out as theres not really much there to work with,mind you, there wasnt with the jimmy eat world one either (who ive really gotten into recently, youd be glad to hear :wacky: )

Having major issues with this one, I had to wash off the whole left hand side of his hair, dry the cvanvas with a hair dryer and start it again, ive never had to do that before :rage:

I cant work out what to do so it doesnt look like a floating head, ive tried drawing the shirt but it doesnt look right.. il have to maybe try to do something a bit more detailed....

Cactuar and moogle looks cute! For the background (Cactuar), perhaps a desert setting approach? Very light yellow might work.

Is this acrylic work?

And you should do chocobo next time.

Ellie's painting is really nice. xD She's definitely creative. Did you ask her what those tiny black spots were?

This slightly eminds me of the unfinished collab Lion King painting that my daughter and I did. Gotta finish that soon. :hmmm:
