This is a friggin' problem that I recently discovered over the last two or so years. Whenever I watch someone play almost any videogame, specifically a third person or first person shooter or games along the lines of that type, I start to feel a bit nauseous, and my eyes begin to feel strained and tired. I also feel like I just caught the flu as I feel like if I watch the game for over two hours, I'll throw up all over something. Like what is this problem? Usually, if I'm playing the game for less than 8 hours, I'll be just fine. It just seems to happen when I'm watching someone play the game.

Thats pretty weird like 8(
When i read the title i thought you meant car sickness or something :hmmm:
That would seriously suck though :wacky: Your really getting into a game then you throw up over the tv screen :( nae fine.
You should see the doctor about it, you get tablets for everything nowadays, id be surprised if there wasnt something that treats that D=

Minus the throwing up, this happens sometimes to me too. It's why I stopped playing games nowadays. Sadly, I have no idea what kind of sickness it is nor do I have a way to fix it... other than... don't watch them play games. :wacky:

Nah, I haven't ever thrown up over watching someone play a game, but I feel like I'm partway there... But I'd probably never go that far.

My younger sisters both have this problem, especially when travelling in a vehicle on the road. Heck, one of my sisters has banned herself from ever travelling on a coach again. But they take tablets each time if we travel long distance on the motorway or whatnot.

I may not have it myself, but it really does suck. Maybe tearing yourself away from the screen once in a while and having a break might help?

I get game motion sickness too only in FPS when I am watching. At first I am fine and then I start to feel really sick in the stomach and need to vomit.

So for the rest of the game I am curled up in the fetal position trying not to spew!!

When I first got my PS3 I used to feel kinda sick while I was playing it. I think it may have had something to do with the next gen graphics. But I got over it pretty quickly.

As for motion sickness in general, I used to feel sick if I tried to read whilst in a car, but it's not so bad now. I had some pretty intense sea sickness a few weeks ago though (first time on a ship).

I have the same problem when watching my brother playing FPS games. I get headache and my head hurts alot and also all of a sudden I feel sleepy and tired so when this happens I just stop watching and go to sleep.
But when I play FPS games myself or something else this does not happen :S .

Weird.

I don't get motion sickness when I play FPS (which is extremely very rarely. I hate them.)

But I get sick very easily when travelling in a long journey with winding roads. Also, in smaller ships. I will just vomit everything out in a plastic bag when I can't hold it anymore. I rarely get sick in aeroplanes though.

I've never gotten motion sickness playing a game while seated, no matter what the type of game. I have, however, had motion sickness trying to play my DS in the car and on a plane. I've learned my lesson and do not try that anymore. Motion sickness is awful and once it starts, I feel sick until I'm back on the ground. :gonk:

I seldom get motion sickness from playing videogames or watching someone else play; however, it has happened to me before.

Super Mario Kart kills me whenever I play it. All the twisting and turning. Obviously, the movements aren't as fluid and refined as they are with more recent Mario Kart titles. I get dizzy whenever I'm dumb enough to pop that game into the SNES.

I don't get this when I play games or anything like that. I do get it when I am in a car, and they have one of those air freshener things. That just drives me to the breaking point. Combine that with not having eaten anything that day, and it more often than not is a bad thing. I feel nauseous, get a headache, my eyes feel bad, it's just horrible beyond all forms of bad. I hate it. Luckily my Dad hasn't gotten one of those air fresheners yet, though if he does, you can believe I'm gonna toss that fucker far away from me and the car.
