Mother's Day is tomorrow don't forget it!
Treat your Mummy lovely on Mothering Sunday.
Don't forget the card.
Flowers are vital, chocolate an extra.
A lovely gift and a film aswell.
Love your Mum, tomorrow is her day!

Thank you!

Well, tbh I haven't seen my mom in ages and it'd be weird if all of a suddden I start talking to her again. I mean, I have nothing against her but it just hasn't been the same. I'm sure my mom would love to see me again so maybe i'll start getting intouch with her. Before I moved out my brother Mark and I would send her something and a card but it'd be nice if I could actually see her. She lives pretty far :hmmm: I'll probably end up visiting her sooner or later.
And since I live in the USA it isn't until May xD so, i'll make arrangements :hmmm:

Just like other pointless days like Valentine's Day, I think Mother's Day is utterly ridiculous for all the same reasons. Those being why should there be a set specific day for you to show your appreciation for your mother? It's a much nicer gesture if you do it spontaneously instead of when it's deemed appropriate by everyone else.

That said, I bought my mum a box of Thornton's chocolate like every year.

I gave my mum a card and flowers a day early because I'm not at hers this weekend. She really loved them. It was lovely seeing the huge smile on her face.

It's awfully hard to buy things
when one's allowance is so small
so I guess you're pretty lucky
I got you anything at all

I made you this card at least
written in pink and red
so you'll just have to imagine
getting something better instead

Happy mother's day to you
there, I said it now I'm done
so how about getting out of bed
and making breakfast for your son?

I write this to my mother every mother's day.

She didn't get a card, seeing as she informed me she still had last years :ffs:

Bought her a book she wanted

I got some chocolate and a mug

I agree with Jack's Smirking Revenge, but I still do something for Mother's Day anyway. My Mum likes it so I might as well. Also, she's been abroad for a long time now so I can't really get her anything but I'll give her a call.

She cares more about the thought than the gift so... yeah.

I got mine a card and a Willow Tree carving figure thing. She collects them and she sort of left hints that she wanted another one.

Oh damn... I just remembered that she always wants a little teddy every year too, as she collects them too, but I completely forgot about it. :hmmm:

You almost made me forget we're in March and Mother's Day is not until May here, in the US. I almost started panicing too...

Anyway I don't usually get my mother anything except for a card but I do like to spend some of the day with her at least. Me and my brother usually treat her out to eat unless someone calls me and says that there are other plans. Same rules apply to Father's Day as well.

It's not Mother's Day until May here.

But I usually just get her a card, chocolates, a bear and one of the following to go with it:

*Perfume
*Jewellery
*Or something else fancy I may see.

I'm getting over all these annoying holidays though. It's getting far too expensive. I'd rather have the freedom to just give them a present when I know I can afford it. Plus it's more of a surprise that way too.

I got her a card and some wine. Keeps her happy. I dont go all OTT with it, thats usually what xmas is for IMO.
