So I'm coming back from my job interview today, and I'm driving back past our local mall so I think it'd be a good place to stop for lunch. While I'm there, I text Busta asking him if he thinks I should go check for FF Chronicles at the local game store (Gamestop). We thought about co-oping FFIV.

Anyhow, I go up the guy and ask them if they have a copy. He says no but looks confused. So I ask which FF games are listed. He says: "Final Fantasy ex, Final Fantasy ex 2, Final Fantasy ex eye, and Final Fantasy ex eye eye." So I'm like "alright, do you have any Final Fantasy games with a subtitle after them." His response "Yes, Final Fantasy: Surge of Dirigibles"... I go "I think you mean Dirge of Cerberus". He got a weird face and muttered something about how he was close. Dumbass.

you really should have told him what the X stood for and embarassed him, what a moron. Ud think workin in a gamestore hed have heard of Final fantasy. Fuck even my wee sister knows roman numerals :lol:
 
I about lost it when he said Surge of Dirigibles. How the fuck does he know a word like "dirigible" and yet he doesn't know what a roman numeral is...

How anyone could think there are games with "Ex eye eye eye" etc at the end of them is beyond me.

I'd half forgive someone if they had never heard of FF before and then picked up FF12 and called it Final Fantasy "Xee"... But that dude knowing full well about the existance of a whole series of them, for him to think that with each new game they just add a letter to it then he's a moron :D.

Unless he was just messing, and holds a grudge against the series or something so did it on purpose.
 
I would have ripped the shit out of him for that. I can understand it if he was some kid who doesn't know his numerals or a retard who is only on the payroll to make the shop look good for reaching its disability quota....but a fucking game shop assistant should know it, hell, he should of been thinking orgasmic thoughts of the sight of the Final Fantasy name on the list.
 
Battletoads would have elicited a stronger response.
