Weeeell, this is the sign-ups and discussion for the RP that I suggested here. That should tell you everything you need to know.

I'll be claiming the opening plot to get you guys into the swing of things. At this point, up to two people can claim a plot. I don't want loads claiming a plot at once because things will get disorganized.

Anyway, the opening plot will be set in a small town named Jalaria Suburbs. Well, it's not really a town. There are residential suburbs and a few shops for necessities. Aside from that, there is just a forest for several miles encircling the location.

The town is in an eternal time loop. Basically, people within the boundaries oft he forest don't age, and cannot die of old age. Progressive diseases such as cancer etc don't exist. Direct physical punishment applies, however. Swords, explosions etc.

It's easy to get into the Suburbs. No matter where you enter, you exit into Jalaria Suburbs. Getting out isn't so easy. There are wolves, bears, and the living dead in the forest for those who try to leave, as well as a Dark Sorceress (controlled by myself) as the main villain of this arc and maybe other arcs depending on how you guys play this arc out.

The main problem is that said dark creatures are beginning to go into Jalaria Suburbs and directly attack civilians who aren't even trying to leave.

If you are gonna be taking part in this arc, your character needs to be entering Jalaria or already living in Jalaria at the start of the arc.

Characters

I don't require bios in this RP so much as I require a general idea of your character's personality. An appearance (picture will do), a few lines describing their personality, and a little backstory would be good enough. As well as that, just include their weapon(s) and skills, including magic, which is rare but possible in Jalaria.

Don't say how a plot is going to end. It's up to everyone who joined to shape the plot from start to finish. Due to that, you can't say how a plot will end. If you want full control over your plot, make your own RP.

Godmodding, Powerplaying and Metagaming are forbidden. You can't be all powerful unless someone makes you that way, and even then it'll be temporary, for the sake of plot. It's more fun for everyone if you don't break these rules.

Know your limits. There is no character limit, but don't overwhelm yourself by making too many. Not so much a rule as advice.

Name: Sakura Ashton

Sakura is half Half-Japanese, Half – British young woman. Standing in at 5’6 she is somewhat short. Tiny and frail, it is obvious that she is not much of a fighter. Bright red eyes and red hair make her stand out somewhat. Her eyes changed color once she started diving into using magic as a means of protecting herself. Her clothes are very reminiscent of the “Gothic Lolita” fashion that is somewhat popular in other countries.

Personality: Somewhat shy, and curious in nature, Sakura wishes to find out more about the place she is in. Being shy, she has very few friends, and is often seen keeping to herself. While others may want to leave the place they are in, she wishes to stay. In fact, she will do anything to stay; even if that means hurting someone should they attempt to force her to leave. Unable to protect herself physically, she started to learn to use magic from an old book she found hidden in the library: The Voynich Manuscript.

Once she learned how to use magic, her greatest fear became losing the ability to use it. She believes that if she leaves the town, she will no longer be able to use magic at all.

History: The Ashton’s came into Jalaria 4 years ago by accident, and have been stuck there ever sense. While her parents came to loathe and hate the place, Sakura was enchanted, and loved it. Due to her curious nature, she came to want to learn more about Jalaria, finding it to be much different than her normal and average life outside of Jalaria. One day, while exploring the old library, she came across an old book. The book itself was very difficult to read, but Sakura kept at it, and till this day, finds most of it to be illegible.

However, from the bits that she did understand, she was able to use light magic. (To be explained below) It was later she would first hear of the Dark Sorceress that lived in the forest surrounding the town. The others feared her, and wished the Sorceress to be gone. However, Sakura was enchanted by the Sorceress, and longed to know more, she wanted what no one else wanted… to speak to The Dark Sorceress, and to get to know her.

Weapons: none

Skills: The ability to moderately control elements. Nowhere near as powerful as the Dark Sorceress.
Fire: She can shoot fire from the palm of her hand. However, due to her lack of knowledge in magic, she can’t use it very extensively.
Lightning: She can shoot lightning from her fingertips. However, due to her lack of knowledge in magic, she’s lucky if this could incapacitate another human being. She may be able to knock them off their feet with it.
Water: She can control water. However, due to her lack of knowledge in magic, she has to be near a body of water to use it, and she can’t lift up too much at one time.
Earth: She can move earth. However, due to her lack of knowledge in magic, she can’t move much at all. In fact, this power can be the most taxing on her.
Other: There are other, small things she can do with her magic, but most of it is likely to backfire on her.

Wen Yin 'Mel'

Appearance-

Having been born a Chinese, Mel boasts of dark flowing hair that reaches down only slightly below her shoulders, and naturally fair complexion. However, like most Asians, she tends to be shorter than her Caucasian counterparts -- standing at a height of 165cm. She appears rather sporty, but not to the extremely muscular extent.

Mel particularly love to dress up as seen in the image, putting on a hoodie, sports trousers and sports shoes.

Personality-
It is rather difficult to describe Mel's personality, considering how her mood decides her behavior, and her mood changes rather quickly. When her mood is good, she is cheerful, and outgoing. No one in the group would be left out; she talks to everyone to keep them all entertained and not feel left out.

When her mood is bad, she is rather acerbic, and somewhat sarcastic. A sort of 'aura' hangs around her, and whatever she's feeling is clearly written all over her face.

Weapons-
2 Glock 26s

Mel hides these two pistols in the pockets of her hoodie, and only uses them when in a really desperate situation, largely because the limited ammunition that she has. These pistols are only useful in short ranged battle, and hence is rarely used.

Knife
A gift from some member of her extended family -- who thought Mel's sportiness meant she was a tomboy who loved what boys liked. Who would have knew it would serve some use here with Mel? This knife looks rather fancy, which leads Mel to doubt highly it's ability to survive a highly intensive sword fight -- which leads Mel to avoid direct combat, opting for stealth.

M95

Definitely the strongest weapon in Mel's arsenal. Because of it's size and weight, however, she always leave this at home and use it only when she intends to venture out to somewhere dangerous. Also, due to the issue of limited ammunition, she avoids using this at all.

Noteworthy Details-
Some of these details are explained below in the 'History'

Leg (Shin) Scar -- It is a rather painful scar that begins above the ankle up to the kneecap. This scar makes walking painful for Mel, though Mel can hide it well sometimes, just bearing with the pain. But otherwise, she limps to favor this leg injury. The scar is on her right leg.

Left Handed -- .... Mel's left handed.

Good Cook -- ........ You should try her cooking.

History-
Mel barely remembers the reason she was in Jalaria. All she knows is that she had been here for almost a few decades now, and that her parents brought her, their only daughter, here on a vacation. It was then, at the end of their little vacation, they decided to leave for the airport, and met with a mishap on the way. This 'mishap' were the monsters that prevented any of Jalaria's inhabitants, and visitors, from leaving.

Her parents died, and she barely made it back to Jalaria alive. It was only thanks to a kindly landlord who responded to her screams that Mel survived. The landlord went on to even provide the girl food and accommodation -- for a price of course, though at subsidized rate.

At some point, because the people in Jalaria had problems pronouncing her Chinese name, she made it easier for them by getting them to call her 'Mel' for short.

Now, quite a few years later, she decides to try and leave, being extremely home sick. Despite the people around her pleading against this decision, Mel was insistent. She went to purchase two Glock 26s, as well as a M95. She then tried to leave, confident that with her now superior firepower, the monsters meant nothing.

Unfortunately for her, the M95 only made movements sluggish, even though Mel was a good runner. She was later cornered and badly slashed at the legs. It was here, the landlord intervened and gave his life to hold off the monster. Mel took this chance to kill the monster, but the landlord was dead by the time she managed to put a bullet in.

Deeply remorseful, she took the landlord's body back into Jalaria and buried him there. She then helped look after the building which belonged to the landlord, offering accommodation to newcomers for the next few decades.

Her leg wound never quite healed properly, and is now marked by a scar and pain whenever Mel walks.

Sky is the limit beside typical rules. You have total creative freedom.
 
Here we go....

Name:
Xeno Series Independent Driver Entity (XSIDE), Model Unit Ez 8 "Einhorne"

Appearance:
Einhorne has a relatively humane appearance in comparison to her brethren. She has bio-synthetic material that cover her body that was engineered to resemble skin. Her facial features are also similarly humane. However, her eyes are light red and her outfit does not help hide her inhuman nature. Also, while made to appear human, her "nerves" are all centrally controlled, meaning she feels no pain, but registers damage and can shut off certain parts. Her internal frame is made of treated titanium alloy, while her movements are supplemented with bio-synthetic muscles and hydraulics for more severe maneuvers.

Exterior wise, Einhorne is rather stunning, as she is made to be as humane as possible, and why not go the full length to make a pretty human look-a-like? Her hair is a striking white with a tinge of purple, and somewhat transparent as it nears the tips. It is very long, reaching down a bit past her waist, almost to her knees. Her height reaches about 178cm without her heels, 183 with her heels. Her none plated frame means she appears more feminine and less of a fighter, but internal hydraulics does wonders with her strength, though her defense has dropped, making her rely more on speed and dodging, supplemented with several armoured piece of clothing.

Her oufit is somewhat risque to say the least. As seen in the image, modesty seemed to be not too high on the creator's list, with buxom curves and relatively short dress with stocking. However, she has a gauntlet like piece of armour on her wrists, armour on her biceps as well as waist armour at her waist. On her head, she has an odd headpiece that is like a helm, sitting on her head and covering the sides as well. The central circle near her forehead contains additional optical devices that assist with her eyes optical abilities.

Personality:
As a newly developed gynoid, her A.I has not developed and observed and developed enough to interact like a human as of yet. Her decision making is still mostly based on deduction and efficiency. EG: Shoot guard blocking the way. Despite this, after two years, this has changed slightly, as she is now not so quick on the trigger. If she has companion, as a robot, she is more inclined to serve rather than lead, and would ask for opinion and orders if situation such as the above popped up. In general, kinda textbookish and not very human yet. In fact, her speech pattern is still rather robotic.

Weapons:
Of course, now, looking more human than her brethren (who mostly look like this), she is unable to lug around an armoury with her as she lacks compartments to store them in. Therefore, she restricts what she takes out, leaving the rest at her "home".

The guns run on a magnetically accelerated system, where the gun holds a block of metal and when the trigger is pressed, a small section is shaved off and accelerated at great speed at the target. While this eliminated the need to change clips, the heat sinks that are used to keep the weapon from overloading needs to be changed. While still fast as the heat sinks are little bigger than a c battery, the gun still stops if the heat sinks overheats. Additional powers such as AP or explosive can be added to bullets, but require modifications at her home armoury.

Heavy Pistol: The first of her three default weapon. Due to its size, relatively to her other weapons, it is easier to conceal. Has a standard 12 round shot before heat sinks overheat. Heat sink ejection port is near the middle where it juts out slightly. Large caliber and AP. Holstered in her left waist pauldron.

Pistol: Second of her default weapon. Slightly smaller than her revolver and used the most. Fires 24 rounds before heat sink overheats. Heat sink ejection port is above the trigger. Ejects automatically. Hollow point modification. Holstered in her right waist pauldron.

Wrist Mounted Blades: (yes, they are what you think they are. Bite me)
Hidden in each wrist that runs along her forearm are a pair of heat blades. They are the length of her forearm and retractable. When engaged, the blade heats up through thermal energy, allowing for better cutting. When deployed a section of her arm opens up and the blades shoot out.

SMG: The SMG are a pair of wrist mounted mini gatlings that can be incorporated into the fancy wrist gauntlet. While hidden and able to shoot rapidly, due to being wrist mounted, its accuracy is somewhat poor at anywhere past 40 meters and used mostly as suppressing fire. However, she still keep these at home unless she needs them.

Assault Rifle: While not large, the AR is big enough to not be able to be concealed. It fires 40 bullets before heat sink overheat. Heat sink ejection point is near the trigger where the blue circle is. FMJ modification. When carried, it is slung across her back

Anti Material Sniper Rifle
: The largest of her standard weapon, this sniper lacks a scope as her eyes and head mounted optics is sufficient. Fires 5 large caliber shots before overheating. Its ejection port is a blue circle in front of the trigger. Slung across her back like the AR. Can be fires single handed, but accuracy drastically reduced unless stationary. Stashed at home. Modified for Piercing effect for greater penetration of walls as well as bullet shaping for more streamline flight.

The following weapons uses a different Heat Sink than the rest.

HMG: Smaller than the sniper rifle, but offering a higher rate of fire than it, the HMG is able to spout out 150 bullets before overheating. However, due to its large clip capacity, it uses a different heat sink that is the size of D battery. Its ejection port is a protruding cylinder in front of the trigger guard that slants backwards diagonally. Piercing modified for better penetration through walls.

Rocket Launcher: First of her totally illegal weapon, the Rocket Launcher does what its name says. Provide explosive firepower. Able to only fire off two consecutively, it is powered by a Heat Sink the size of a 4.5 rectangular battery. Heat Sink ejector is near the top of the gun on the side above the trigger in another circular port. Modified to explode on impact in a 10 meter radius. Einhorne will only ever use this if she is expecting a lot of resistance in tight groupings or going against heavy armour.

Triple Gatling Gun x2: Legal in absolutely no where in the entire world, these two weapons are Einhorne's overill weapons, needed only in the most direst time. If it isnt even close to anything like open warfare, she would not bust these guys out. Only in the most trying time. The bulk of the weapon is storage for the bullets, with it firing small AP rounds at several thousand a minute. Rather weighty, so movement is restricted somewhat. In addition, while the Heat Sink in the Gatling guns do not require replacement, they still do heat up.

Gatling Guns are slightly overkill. How long would they take to run out of ammo? Do they have the disadvantage of slowing movement due to their heavy weight etc?
 
When one is not enough, go for 6 XD

And of course Diar. Definitely there is movement cost. Even as a robot, she is carrying 6 gatling guns in one go. Speed is reduced to is jog. even with robotics. As for ammo count, im not sure. i was planning to use the Mass Effect type of system, where it houses a large piece of metal and when the trigger i pulled, it shaves off a small piece and shot out magnetically. So, ammo isnt quite the issue. Rapid heat up would be its downside.
 
Name: Louis Felix

Appearance: Louis is a man of African origins, he has dark skin, short black hair and brown eyes. He stands at 6'3" and weighs 190 lbs, mainly muscle. Louis is physically strong, but not as strong as weightlifters but he is not very fast. He wears a white T-Shirt and Blue Jeans as well as white sneakers that appear new. Louis also wears a baseball cap that is yellow in color and has a picture of the Los Angeles Lakers Basketball Team's Emblem on it.

Personality: His Personality is a mixture of emotions and feelings. When he has a positive outlook he jokes around a bit, likes to have fun and is generally friendly most of the time. When Louis has a negative outlook, he tends to cuss a lot, and is very hostile, however most of the time he keeps to himself, though he would like to make friends with anyone.

Weapons:
Beretta 92SB Pistol: 9x19mm Parabellum Pistol originally used for the United States Air Force, noted for it's rounded trigger guard and ambidextrous de-cocking safety, compared to the earlier S model. Carries 15 rounds and is placed in a holster on Louis's left side

Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
: 9x19mm Parabellum Sub-Machine Gun with a synthetic folding stock for more accurate fire. Can be equipped with a supressor. Carries 30 rounds and is attached to a strap that can be carried around the shoulder.

Fabrique Nationale de Herstal Fusil Automatique Luger (FN FAL)
: 7.62x51mm NATO Battle Rifle, Paratrooper Model with Folding Stock. Carries 20 rounds and is attached to a strap that can be carried around the shoulder.

Noteworthy Details:
Robotics and Electronics: Louis is very skilled with various machines and electronics. He is a quick learner when it comes to the subject and is somewhat considered a prodigy when it comes to making, and modifying robots. He even learned how to make his own security system.

Demolitions and Pyrotechnics: When he was younger, he used to play with a few friends who knew how to make homemade explosive. Louis learned the trade from his friends and was able to make things from Molotov Cocktails to a close equivalent to Napalm.

History:
Louis was born in the Southeastern United States. When he was young he was enamored with machines, and sought to build such wonderful things. He was a bright mind, who went on to get perfect grades in all his classes. He graduated high school at the age of 15, and then went on to graduate College at the age of 18.

Louis moved to Jalaria shortly after graduation, where he wishes to make his own shop to build machines and electronics. However unbeknownst to him, there is more to the place than he would be willing to believe.

@ Eph: Yup, gotta love the gatling guns. They are made of awesomeness. I would put her bike up too, but nah. That might be too much.

I actually intended to give her a HMG too, something in between her Assault rifle but below her Gatlings. If diar is fine with yet another weapon, ill put it in.
 
@Tipsy: Sure, cause adding more dakka is a useful tactic in battle...

...then again, you can never have enuff dakka. It's just not possible to have enuff of the stuff. :lew:
 
Well, when one doesnt use magic. Guns are the only way they go. Plus, BFG + Robots is the only way to go XD
 
Tipsy, a HMG would be acceptable, but again, give it weaknesses etc.

[Never done RP before, might as well give it a go]

Name: Grey

Age [appearance]: 27
Actual Age: Unknown

Appearance:
Worn and tired, his appearance betrays his given age. His dress is fairly unimpressive from the leather boots to the brown overcoat he loosely wears on his broad shoulders. Seen just above the neck-cuff, part of a scar completes its journey up the side of his neck resting just behind the left ear. With a slightly angular face, he has a rugged appearance with a thin beard and black hair which is mostly unkempt. His dark skin reflects his tendency to stay outdoors, and his coarse hands depict a past filled with difficulty. With a fairly average stature, this man would be lost in a crowd if it wasn't for his unnatural bright blue eyes which betray the other facets of his general demeanor.

Personality:
Reticent and aloof, this man has the tendency to keep to himself. His time is equally spent between sleeping, drinking, and unchaste hobbies with bouts of smoking in between. Had Jalaria been absent of its special properties, Grey would have died long ago. Generally viewed as a social outcast, little is known about this man and over the years not many have chosen to inquire.

History:
Grey was found unconscious just outside Jalaria 80 years ago. A few men who were attempting to venture beyond found his body covered in serious wounds and already bled profusely to near-death. Fearing for the man's life, they brought him to Jalaria and tended to his aid until recovery. Upon awaking from unconsciousness, Grey moved to go to the outer forest alone. A party was banded to prevent his leave; however, his determination coupled with his surprising strength and agility left 4 men dead and many more wounded in his wake. He was unseen for one week before his eventual return to Jalaria. His past as well as his reasons for living in Jalaria are shrouded in mystery. The only visible mementos are his scar, his unusually large sidearm, and a small bound journal that he carries inside his inner-coat pocket which he pulls out to read from time to time.

Weapons:
Surviving through the use of his natural physical strength and dexterity, Grey appears to have also been endowed the assets of flexibility and adaptation to his surroundings. His past combat experience is apparent, but his proficiency with weaponry is questionable. Despite carrying a .50-cal magnum revolver by his side, no resident of Jalaria has ever seen him take the weapon out of its holster; even during his initial jarring escape into the forest. Many have concluded that his tendency to use pure physical combat is a reflection of his general disdain for weaponry and hi-technology.
