Well, you certainly can. Provided you have the cold, hard cash to do so. Though, generally, the currency here in Asia is weaker than those in the Western sides, no? It makes for a good shopping spree for tourists, heh. Not to mention the scenery of some places. Though, perhaps, the only fallback might be the tendency for some areas to be a little... Unstable?
 
Oh, I see Tipsy...I dunno, I'm in alot of RP's that I'm in the background....I tend to split my rp's evenly...Other than the RPs I create I usually have a character in the bg...But hey, it's whatever. ^_^

I'm trying to think of a post for that Gundam RP. For some reason for the past two weeks my inspiration has been dry.
 
Speaking of which, it looks like the role playing scene's returning back to life, isn't it? Some of the role plays around around here are going quite strong too -- quite a heartening sight... And gets me excited too, hee, can't wait to see how Crystallius especially would turn out.
 
i got a pretty good feeling for Crystalius. We got a few peeps that are always on, so we get things rolling. Granted, i have been lazy as of late, but ill try and pick it up with Uni winding to a close soon for exam breaks. (Should study but meh.)

Btw, Ephe, u gonna start that rp of yours? i still have the warlock to do, but you gonna postpone it?
 
OH, Goodness, Gracious. I totally forgot that I had that RP at all. I'll go get a post up now, and post the character bio later. Meanwhile... :D
 
Ahem, Ladies and Gentlemen...and Giant Robots...

I am here to announce that I am beginning plans to retool and reload one of my old SFR RP's, Le Guerre de Cent Ans (The War of a Hundred Years). The original RP was killed off because I did not have a coherent story at the time, but now, after a few months, I think it's time to implement a storytelling system by chapters, a style used in Oliver's RP, Crystalius.

Look our for Le Guerre de Cent Ans, coming soon to an ORPG near you. :)
 
was that the one i was in? or something different? i had actually an interest in it, but we didnt get very far. give me a shout when u start again.
 
This one was actually different (the other one was based on the Franco-Mexican War, this one is on the Hundred Years War between England, France and a few third party states)

I really liked FOr Equity and Justice :sad2: But ah well! I'll get into this one. I think I tried to make a bio for it but it seemed so complicated! I'll join this if it comes out!!! That event's system was basically a tweaked version of Ephi's from the Chrono Cross Rp from way back when (my first real rp experience).

Been looking at Eph's In this Life Rp....Been deciding whether I want to join or not....It's so conflicting XD. I already have a ton of RP's I'm in...But yea! The RP revolution has begun! haha ^_^

And yeah, I kinda welcome this sudden surge in activity here in the role playing sphere... Just gets me something to do online, rather than just... Facebook, and nothing else :D
 
Weird, I never prowl on Facebook anyway.

Well, this SFR RP has got be back into doing the SFR main page again.
 
One is considering making an RP with about 5/6 stages to it :hmmm:

Dunno how many of you have ever heard of Agarest but it follows it's storyline, going through about a century or so in game-time :hmmm: there's plenty of characters, main, side even some with minor roles in the story. Has a semi-strong combat focus but the story doesn't suffer much for it :ryan:

Just plotting over how it would work, considering it's rather ambitious :hmmm:
 
Indeed an ambitious idea. 5-6 stages with a century worth of game time? It kinda reminds me of the Horribly Slow Murderer with the Highly Inefficient Weapon. XD

But oh well, I am on a roll recently, if you're going to make any role plays, guys, you know there's at least one who would at least consider joining, if not join.
 
Well technically speaking, it's barely a century, since the stages themselves have 18-20 years of time between them, so the majority of time is between the raising of one MC to replace the last (more explained when/if I make the RP :wacky:)
 
My. Now I can't wait. Feel free to advertise the role plays here when you guys do create them... :D Heh, for my convenience at least. I'll definitely take a good look, and most likely sign up, based on what you guys have described so far -- sounds interesting enough.
