Justin Bieber

I've read about this little kid...called Justin Bieber and I don't think he's very good. He had a single called One Time and it annoyed me and know he's done a collaboration with Ludacris called Baby. They are both really repetitive and annoy me. His album My World is kind of suckish...

But what do you think of Justin Bieber?
 
My friend summed this up perfectly in Law "Justin Beiber sounds like Hannah Montana and should be shot"

Cue a lot of girls in the row ahead gasping saying how he's "so cute!" and how his video was awesome.

My friend had him on in her car as she was taking me home, and I thought he was a girl. He'll never have long term success, really, he'll just be popular until the teenage girls find someone else to fangasm over.
 
Aha, the first time I saw him on TV I thought he was a girl.
I absolutely hate him, I was listening to Chris Moyles just taking the piss outta him on the radio.
I just don't think he's particularly talented, especially his new song where the main word is just 'Baby'. Good lyrics, right? :/
 
Justin Bieber is living, breathing cliche. From his music, dress sense and dancing (all of which are probably spoon fed to him) are unoriginal and bland. It looks like he's trying to act older than he is.

But whoever is behind him is doing a good job of hooking people. They are just pulling the strings of young teen girls perfectly. I watched one of his music videos and they are exactly the kind of situations I dreamt up when I was younger so I can see why there is appeal for some.

I'll be staying well clear though. IMO it's utter shite.
 
There's something rather creepy about it all, he's only about to turn 16 and there's this rather weird undercurrent of preparing to market him as a sex symbol. And he's very much a puppet of record companies looking to make a quick buck. So long as he doesn't wind up as messed up as some other child stars I guess.
 
Justin Bieber is a teen pop and yeah, I see him as the next 'Hannah' or whatever other teen popstar there is like Jonas or something.

I personally am not a fan of teenish kind of music but all and all he's not too bad

I mean, I wont be surprised though if hes the next big thing. Hes got a lot of potential with all the girls and whatnot.

He does have a girly voice though :hmmm: it's kind of weird xD
 
I don't like him very much either. His voice is really whiny, and I kind of see him as a Jesse McCartney knock off. And I just don't enjoy his music.

And I love teen-pop. I listen to Hillary Duff!
 
I had never even heard of him until I heard that Usher apparently bought him a Range Rover for his 16th. 0_o

Then at the video store one night I saw him on the T.V. 'singing' and I thought he sounded like a chick. 0_o

I seriously think that guys shouldn't start to sing at all until they get their manly voice. They sound like pansys otherwise. XD

But yeah, not a fan at all of this kid.
 
I must have heard Baby on the radio like about five times this weekend so far and it's more than enough to annoy me considerably now. I am really not a fan of his voice. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks he sounds like Miley Cyrus's vocal twin. The singing itself isn't horrendous at all - it just sounds like a girl's and there's nothing special about it.

As for the song itself - it is bland and cliched. It's more or less lyrically dead - one of these occasions where the writer loses his or her dictionary and decides to repeat the same word over and over again in a chorus. It was Britney Spear's Womanizer where I first realised how annoying it is.
 
Nope, I'm definitely not a fan of him. His voice is too screeching. It's even more annoying when you have a younger sister, who consistently plays his songs and doesn't stop singing them either. I'm a big believer kids at that age shouldn't be exposed to the limelight because I just feel their innocence will be exposed and they're probably not ready.
 
Can't say I'm going to bother listening to any of his music, because I don't listen to it if it don't have a guitar and drums in it.

All I have to say is lulz @ google image search bringing up an entire page of him looking like an angry emo faggot and doing some retarded wangster sign or some shit.

I'm pretty sure that stopped being cool even before he even got out of diapers. :wacky:

He sounds like a Chipmunk. And I'm sorry, I'm tired of all of the white boys turning into hip-hoppers. Wearing their pants below their knees walkin' around like they're cool.

It's annoying. And it's sad that boys HAVE to turn to hip-hop to make it.

Ewan pretty much stated exactly what I think.

I won't say the kid thinks he's all that, but he seriously either needs to start taking his ability for success seriously, or go back to school. All I hear are crappy and over used songs. Sure, as I've said in a previous thread, it's good as long as it inspires someone.

But to me, music isn't about what shoes you wear, how big your watch is, and how cute you look.

is justin bieber a good singer.. i mean he had a good voice but have you ever heard this kind of voice in any male .. he sound like a girl..tell me who likes justin bieber ;)
 

He is loved by many, but hated by all? Meh, to me he is the queen of his no talent generation. I make such harsh digs at him because all his lyrics involve simple to no definition or umph. His talent consists of his voice, which is.. okay decent for his age, but it's very possible that this will change one day. So I am not calling him good. If he sang something worth listening to and didn't sound so feminine, I'd be a little bit more keen on him.

I guess I can see why some people like his music, at least I think I can. But he's just not good, I don't see what's so great about him. News stations are starting to call him the new "King of Pop" and I'm just sitting there going, "WTF, seriously? Leave that title to Michael Jackson."
I remember hearing "One Time" for the first time while I was in the shower, I had never heard of Justin then. When i looked up the music video, waiting for a girl to come in and start singing, he started to sing with his ridiculous hoodie getup and my jaw just dropped... and that's wasn't a good thing.

My friend is obsessed (literally OBSESSED) with him, I have not met such an extreme fangirl in my life! It's just so insane, you won't believe it until you meet her... she's just too much, it makes me want to slap her. But she's my friend and I love her :P
All these girls think he's hot and amazing, when truth is, if he wasn't famous and you knew him at school or something, no one would be drooling over him.

All these random sensations have their fifteen minutes of fame, then people stop listening to their music and they fade away... I can't wait til the day that happens to Justin :awesome:
