I don't see a whammy bar on matt's guitar, so I don't think so. I've never heard anything about any pad thingie at all, either. D :

But whammy bars are nice to have for solos, to put a little more "umph" into them, so to say. All that's got me caught are colours, dammit. D :

I'm also planning to get a pearloid pick guard as well so it looks more like the jagstang.
