Updated. I finally started to test out Stock Manipulation and made these following tutorials. I think they came out adaquate ;)

This looks really great. The textless version is much better IMO. I would suggest darkening the section to left, maybe burning or some black brushing on soft light, just to focus it more on Sora.

A nice clean signature here :ryan:.

I like how you stuck with the original colors, along with a few tweaks of your own. You didn't change it up too much, but just enough to add in your own style. It could be a bit darker--but that's just a personal prefernce. The text is a bit much, tone the amount of words, or remove it completely. Aside from that, it's a decent tag. Your really improving, good job (y)
 
I think your use of light sources has improved a lot. I noticed it, specially in the last two signatures. Looking nice.

Very nicely improved text work also. The colours suit the image nicely. I think you do great with colours, you seem to know how to keep it interesting, but not too hectic or monotone.

I like.

New siggy :awesome: Learned some new ways to smudge to produce some nice effects, and I tried to use Topaz Vivacity, although I don't think I did very well with it. Comments?

I looked through some of these and some are better than others. May I suggest that you edit your first post and include all of your graphics there? And when you bump with more graphics add them to the first post.

At least you were able to get topaz working for you; unlike me -__-

Okay, as for the siggy, its quite nice. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it aside from the text, but hey we all suck at text :wacky:. So yeah, great siggy, and nice improvement :D

This is definitely some of your best work Sean! I love how all your sigs have sort of the same style to them! Plus this sonic one is Ace! I'm so jealous! I'm nowhere near your skill level! xD

Thats an absolutely fantastic signature. I was really surrised when i seen it in your sig. I would like to see the text a little closer to sonic but over all i think this is a brilliant tag and the text in no way ruins it at all. Im not keen on topaz either however i think youv used it perfectly here. Its not too smooth or flat in the least. A lot of people go overkill with topaz but uve got it spot on.

Getting back into Photoshopping after a looong hiatus, so this isn't that good. Just trying to familiarize myself with the program again. Comments are very much welcome, though. :mokken:

Usually i would protest about the border, but for some reason it works here. You have some flow here, which is good, but I would try out some other methods. I notice your using the Honey Comb brushes, and that's fine, but maybe use them to other varieties(clip masks, and smudging). Textures and c4d's can go a long way. With all that being said, I like this. (y)

Nice and simple.

Nice background. Though I do think that the lighting is a tad too bright in the background which sort of takes your focus away from the dude in the middle.

The blending around him is a little too noticeable I think.

Other than that the colours are nice, the simplicity is nice and the border rounds it off nicely. =)

My "glorious" return to photoshop. :yay:

I have been on a long hiatus from photoshop, so I've gone all the way back to being a beginner. I need some really good c&c, so lay it on me. I Just did what I could remember, whilst incorporating what I could gain by brushing up with a few tuts.
