So, I've been reading some of the Twilight series, again, when I stumble upon a realization: I need a freaking Jacob of my own! :gasp: I need that best guy friend (who's nothing more; I have Andy for that. :D) to make me laugh. -__- I had one, but I haven't spoken to him in forever. :gasp: Anyone want to be my online Jacob? :D

Seriously, I'll hold an audition, right here, right now, for my online Jacob. :D

And seriously, I'm bored. :gasp:

Anyway, I haven't read Twilight so I don't know how a Jacob would have to act. :monster:

And she can't decide who she wants to be with, even though if you are THAT in love with someone, I refuse to believe you can be almost as passionate about someone else, it's tarded

I have to admit though, he looks fucking HOT in that new trailer ¬.¬

For starters, let's look at the characters. You have Bella; the most dense, stubborn, boring and annoying character I have encountered in a book. She's also extremely humourless and never seems to have any fun at all. The only times when she is 'content' is when she is lusting over Edward, which is just not healthy at all. I think this point is proved in New Moon where he is gone for most the book and she does nothing but wallow and complain about the 'hole' in her chest and how she can't breathe, and then decides to throw away her whole life and family to become a vampire for this guy. Now let's move over to Mr Perfect himself. Firstly, let's all get over the fact that he's mind-numbingly handsome (as difficult as that may be, seeing as it's all Bella ever talks about). Now that that's gone... what is it exactly that is so great about him? Is it that he's a stalker and sneaks into Bella's room every night to watch her sleep? Oh wait, that's not endearing, that's creepy! Honestly, besides the fact that he is oh-so devoted to her from day one and would die to protect her, what is the basis of their relationship besides his looks and her idiocy? Maybe it's because her non-existant personality matches his non-existant personality that they got on so well. And by 'well' I mean they can stare into each other's eyes all day and not get bored.

Jane, come on, its a freaking book ^^ I mean their love is just so wonderful, maybe it is a bit extreme but it is just a story. I think their personalities really fit them and all that. Her "hole" and that is just a important part of their unnusual relationship. I think they are meant to so unnusual so that "normal people" notice them. It is not just another love story, it is kind of special if you ask me. Well, this is just what I think :P
 
I know it's just a book, it wouldn't annoy me so much if people weren't so crazy about it. :gasp: I just find their 'love' ridiculous because it's just so stupid and unrealistic. And I know I know, I'm going on about realism in a book about vampires and werewolves, but whatever. >_> I wasn't convinced, and they were just so annoying about it.

All books should be realistic, even surreal books to an extent. Just because they are beasties in the book doesn't mean that every other part of it should be equally unrealistic.
