Ok, so I initially tried to just ignore all the madness that has suddenly started on these forums about liking manly men or unmanly men and whatnot, but eventually that got boring, so this is the thread for NORMAL PEOPLE.

Here is what NORMAL PEOPLE know and acknowledge:


  • Final Fantasy has manly men, and it has womanly women, and that's the way it should be. Men can have emotions and women can have strength without crossing any boundary of what it means to be either.
  • Not all males in Final Fantasy are humans in their 30s...it's perfectly reasonable that many of the lead characters wouldn't look like it.
  • We all know that Final Fantasy is a form of Japanese art which is highly stylistic. Characters' demonstrated personalities are what deserve the greater attention.
  • You do not need to assert your point or counterpoint with an obscenely extreme photograph/image...or just a plain obscene photograph
  • Intelligent discussion is humanly achievable
  • "Those" threads (you know what I'm talking about) aren't funny in the least.

Its just multiple threads by one person who is making a fool out of everyone by getting such big reactions out of them. Personally....i dont see what the problem is and i certainly dont care either. I dont have favourite ff characters and even if i did im not gunna care if someone insults them. Theyre not real, its just a form of entertainment. Take it less seriously and just roll with it. Or dont and ignore it.

its all about taste and what you are into.. see. me.. i get often mistaken for a jock.. but i am not..furthest from it.. i just happen to be a professional athlete who got lucky in a sport. i say let people be into what they want to be into. if someone likes a skinny runt.. if it makes you happy so be it. if someone likes a "normal" looking person.. so be it.. but i think we should discuss here. is ..


what is normal?

we all have different perceptions on life and taste in people. so what one sees as normal, another sees as crazy or ugly.

my taste of normal.. girls that have tattoos, piercings, kinda goth, kinda nerdy.. just hot to me..lol
 
I can see why someone might find this somewhat annoying because the novelty has worn out and this is pretty much appearing all over the place like a rash, but I'm not sure why you need a thread to remind people what normal is or what it should be. It's not like people are really taking this topic(s) seriously at all to warrant any kind of indignation at what has been said. It's spam for a reason. Just breathe.
 
Like Mel said it's just spam, I doubt anyone is taking it seriously. That said, I do think that it's terrible spam. It's not fun or funny--it's just the same stupid topic over and over again.

I miss the good ol' days when spam was funny :okay:
 
I don't know what the hell is going on anymore to be quite honest.
 
This thread is really unnecessary. The majority of these threads have been in spam so it's not hurting anyone. Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill.
