Whoa, I thought the gage on acoustic guitars were a lot thicker than electrics. My medium gage strings are thicker than yours, .011 - .049. And currently, I'm using heavy bottom mediums now though, which is .011 - .052, I think.

It is a pita. My primary guitar has a wilkinson-style bridge that won't allow for ball ends and Sperzel tuners which - while useful - take a day and a week to make rotation.

I hate restringing my guitar as well. I remember last time(which was my first in over a year) I ended up with bloody fingers. This was after a few broken strings cut up my arms. It stung like hell.

My mom is left with around 100 a month for groceries and stuff, I live in the Netherlands too, it's do-able for a month.

I hate how that's the ONLY one that ever breaks Because then you have to buy a whole variety pack just for one string, and you end up with like 10 packs of all the other strings with only the high E missing

my B string won't stop breaking. Then my high E goes right after it. I also hate it when you don't notice the string broke and then you play and the string's not there, then another breaks.

Whenever one of mine breaks, I always restring the whole guitar, tbh...

The sound of a whole new strung guitar sounds so heavenly....
