I just changed mine today and it was because I started to notice that they were looking rather feral. XD

I usually try to change them from 2 to 4 weeks at the latest. Depending on the season and whether they desperately need changing or not.

I remember my mum would change my sheets once a week when I lived at home, whether they needed to be changed or not.

I find that I change mine a lot if one of us has been sick just to clear the room a bit more as well.

So I was wondering how often you guys changed yours?

Do you change them at all? Do you not really care if they are a bit yuck?

Are you someone who does them every week?

Or are you sort of in the middle and only do them when you can see that they need to be changed?

Every week for me, I'm a bit of a hygene nut when it comes to stuff like bedsheets and I cant sleep in a bed if the sheets havent been changed if it's gone more than a week, this also has to do with the fact that I work nightshifts so most of my sleeping is done through the day.

So in summer time I usually change the sheets every 2 days.

I swear i have the intention to change them once a week, I just never do

Its too much like effort i hate changing and washing the bedding theres jut too much of it.

I changed them yesterday actually though, they were about ready to walk off the bed and wash themselves.

I'm probably about the same with the every 2-4 weeks. mother used to do them weekly as well, how I miss that D:

I don't live on my own yet so I could just let my mum do it all, but I tend to do it myself just to be nice to her (unlike my brother).

I would like to do it every week, but it is quite a lot to do so I never really end up doing it every week. At an average, I do it about every 2-3 weeks. I never leave it longer than that because I'm one of these people who are careful with hygiene.

But it also depends on season as well. In summer I would do it more often than in winter.

I've just got too much going on in my life to change sheets every week. >.<

They don't get that bad. We always have a shower before getting into bed, but in Summer, it just gets so hot that we wake up in the morning in a sweat and therefore the sheets get gross a lot faster than usual.

It's yuck when you can start to smell that the sheets need doing. XD

But yeah in Summer I'm a lot more motivated to change the damn things. >.<

Every other week, unless its hot and sticky, like it was for a couple of weeks last summer. Then its every week. Its one of those procedures that is ingrained into me - I don't think about it, I just do it when it needs doing. Although I'm not very good at it, I've always been somewhat useless with domestic chores. XD

Sometimes I like having my bedsheets smell like me. And my girlfriend actually kind of likes it that way too, she likes the smell of my greasy manliness, she says it kind of turns her on (sorry, too much info), so I don't make it too much of a concern to wash them all the time, but usually after I get a hair cut and sleep in the bed I have to wash them the next day or I won't be able to sleep in it again (itchiness all over), so that happens about once a month.
I feel like my bed is most comfortable at this point too- kind of like how jeans work, when they've been worn in a bit after a wash.

(funny that this thread has been answered mostly by females)

Lol @ greasy manliness. And you could wash your hair before you lay in the bed, lemony Mog

I change mine every 2-3 weeks.

It does tend to be a hassle since I have a queen and everything's so big :gasp: I then have to go downtown to the laundry place and wash it there :mokken: But I try and clean my sheets every month just in case there's nothing to worry about when it comes to filthyness an' whatnot :monster:

I take showers like everyday, and wash my bed sheets almost never. I'm too lazy. Heck, I don't even sleep on a bed. I sleep on my couch. Call me whatever you like, I love my dirty blanket. :ohoho:

I think mine are changed every 1 or 2 weeks, I'm not entirely sure since I don't do it myself. I only ever really find out when the covers are a different colour. I suppose in the summer when it gets a bit warmer and stickier they might be changed a bit more, I don't have a clue really. :wacky:

Yuck. o_O

I change mine every week, no exceptions. My OCD could possibly play a part in this. I sometimes like to bring my comforter over to my desk, because it gets so cold. So, if I accidently let it drag on the floor, it will drive me nuts until I wash it again.

I love getting into my freshly cleaned bed and having the smell clean sheets put me to sleep. ^^

I used to change my bedsheets once a week when I started college, but then I just stopped feeling like doing it that often. Now I just change it after a while, and sometimes I might wait a bit too long to do it. Last time I changed my sheets, you could see how dirty they were. It was nasty.

i dont even use sheets anymore. One day i just took it off and never bother to put it on. Its been years since i had one. lol. But when i did, i never changed it, just washed it. Usually about once every 5 months, i like to live on the edge XP

Every week, i'm a clean freak. I get that from my mother, not to the point of obsessive though. I'm almost there though xD, but yeah i change them every week. Pillow case every day as well, there's nothing dirty in my room :wacky:

I would say I change mine bi-weekly. The longest I have ever gone without changing mine was 3 weeks and that's because I ended up working so much that I did not feel like doing anything once I got off. I am far from a clean freak, just look at my room if you don't believe me, but I do like to wash them with my laundry and switch up with bed sheets just for the fun of it.

Once a week. We he house two people and 5 cats (when we aren't home) so just imagine the fur and stuff and then you'll understand.

Also I would hope anyone would clean their sheets if they are sexually active period. Otherwise just plain nasty yo.
