I have to agree with you there Ryan, it looks absolutely stunning.
The story seems good as most of the scenes looked quite emotional, the setting looks so real, the characters... well bloody everything does. This is most definitely going to be a groundbreaking title, and I can't wait for it.
 
Is it just me or is Vanille's Eidolon like Machina Maw with gatling guns? xD

The new additions look hawt and what looks like fighting Fang look good too, can't wait for this :ryan:
 
To nitpic Ryan, can we stop calling this gen "next gen"? It's been about 4 or 5 years now.

The trailer looks freakin epic. I got a few wallpapers out of it too, so I'm really happy. I'm super excited to see how this game turns out! Hope it gets a 10 on IGN and Gametrailers.
 
Sorrel, you always take the words right out of my mouth. ^_^ The baby chocobo cracks me up every time, it's so adorable. The environments are looking really great, as well as the summons.

This really reminds me of Yuna
sacrificing herself to beat Sin,
you know with
Serah (possibly) getting turned into a crystal
. Or maybe I'm just being an idiot.

I think that the new bad uys are the Priest dude(main bad guy) Black hair dude(2nd main bad guy) and the other dude(3rd main bad guy) Also like I said I knew Fang had some evil in her! Also Not much of Jihl in the trailer :ness:
 
Snow's bumfuzz looks awesome in HD 8F And that scene with the 6 main characters on that dragon then jumped off actually sent shivers down my spine.

I'm really looking forward to playing this now. Roll on March :awesome: Cheers Ryan!
 
The trailer becomes absolutely awesome by the second half. Surprisingly, that got me unbelievably hyped up for the game. A few notes from me:

>Vanille gets a mecha-like summon and not Carbuncle! Not only does it look capable, but does it tell us too that a character isn't confined to one Eidolon only?

>The new priest guy is definitely the ruler or a high-up in the Holy Government in Cocoon. Which means he'll be an antagonist.

>New male characters to even out the girls! They remind me a lot of the Resonance of Fate characters.

>I smell some backstabbing and anti-heroism with Yun Fang.

>Yun Fang and Lightning summoning Bahamut while casually falling from the sky- and the Eidolons at the end are the two most awe-inspiring scenes I have seen yet.

Jesus christ picky or what? Next-gen is the current generation until other consoles are confirmed :ffs:

Apart from the turret-ediolon and the signs of SnowxLightning (DO NOT WANT!!) everything in that trailer is awesome :ryan:

Yeah, what the hell was up with that?! I don't know how I feel about that, but if Serah comes back, there is bound to be some sisterly conflict.
 
Nah, I doubt there's gonna be Snow/Lightening pairings. Snow IS engaged to Serah, you know?

I might be wrong, but after Lightening tugs on Snow's coat, he says "nee-san". Now I know there's some questionable pairing types, but I'd like to think that in terms of Final Fantasy, you're not about to call a potential love interest "sister", right? xD

But whoay at the new characters. I now have a vested interest in the hawt black-haired guy :wacky:

And with different summons appearing with different character, is it safe to say that they were interchangeable? O.O

Yeah the brief scene there with SnowxLightning kinda caught me off guard. :hmmm: I've finally grown some attachment to Serah, but I guess we'll see how everything goes. I'm really more intrigued with how the characters would react in such conflict situations, so I guess if there IS a possible SnowxLightning pairing, I wouldn't really care as much as I'd be more curious with all their relationships with one another anyway...if that made any sense. Pretty much, just leave it to SE to add some dramatic turnout in the game and I'll accept it as is.

Everything looks splendid so far! I'm so excited for this already. The two new young guys look pretty awesome too.

Despite the fact that I think they revealed a tad bit too much in the trailer (especially with Oerba Yun Fang), I'm still glad to see some new scenes overall.
 
holy shit the last few seconds of the trailer renewed my want for this game! Im guessing the graphics in this trailer are from the ps3 engine. I saw a 10k hit in there so im hoping there going to be huge damage meters earlier on in the game that exceed the 9999 barrier w/o special tweaking. would be cool seeing huge numbers even if its just for wat wat...
 
Was there ever any 100% confirmation that Carbuncle was to be a summon? We struggled to see how it could transform into anything, so maybe this is our answer. Perhaps it is not a summon for battle at all, but perhaps a pet or friendly creature they meet like Sazh's chocobo?


Awesome trailer anyway. It looks great so far... Though we know an awful lot about the game already.
 
The only thing that remains here is what are Siren and Carbuncles role? Also I could have sworn Ifrit was in the game too in one of the first trailers. I also want more on Jihl! Come on SE imme INFO!
 
Hey thanks so much Damo even though its hard to see the subs. So Cid is in charge of the whole sanctum? I don't think so. The Priest dude was talking to Cid and his friend but Cid said Im now a slave of the l'cie. The Priest dude is the bad guy cause he calls them foolish for being afraid of the l'cie. Need more info on Yaag and Jihl though. Edit: Fang seems to care for the group. So she has evil and good in her. Shes arrogant to do everything herself though :hmmm:
 
Looks good... I wonder how much this will cost in stores?

I actually kinda find that they're leaking too much stuff here. They made like a million trailers, tons of the OST is released, and it seems like they're spoiling the big surprise. Anyone agree?

That's exactly why I distanced myself from any news about this game in the past few months (and also why I've been inactive here). However, with this being the final trailer, I thought I'd give it a few seconds' look. (and I like what I see)

There are two groups of fans regarding this - those who are willing to spoil themselves before playing and those who are not (and before I get pummeled, neither is better than the other, it's preference). SE wants to get as much hype out there as possible, so for that purpose why not hype if they have the means? If it is too much, those who do not like to be spoiled will turn the other way and simply wait for the release. I agree that it does ruin some of the surprise, though, with the amount of material they've released.
