......I mean honestly all I can say about this is :ffs:. I mean I am a fan of the game, and will play anytime I fancy it. But please for the love of effing god stop saying Yes....wait Maybe.....wait No....wait Maybe.....wait Yes. :rage: MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND!!!! Make it dont make it, I dont care either way. I plan on playing the regular version either way.

As far as I'm conserned he go and well... leave FF7 well alone. I'd hate to see 7 become the new 13 or 12. It could very well kill the sieres for me and anyone who is a lover of the old ways of FF. Which needs to be returned btw.

All I would want to see would be the same exact game but with updated graphics. No new sidequests, no change in the gameplay, no new versions of the music (FFIV DS :hmph:), no updated dialogue translations...just the same game it already is, just a little less geometric. Because I don't honestly think anything else about it needs an upgrade; and the same goes for every old-school FF--it's not the same game anymore if they change anything more than how pretty it looks.

Actually, I think if Uematsu came back and remastered the soundtrack, it would be epic. When some of his original songs were remixed for CC and DoC, they were done well, but I think only he could really bring back the magic of his own music.

That's why if it was to be remade I'd rather the team that worked on the original Final Fantasy VII be working on it. Though if they do decide to go through with it, and stop flip flopping around, that seems unlikely =/

i agree that they should calm down with empty promises of remaking the game but on the same hand final fantasy 7 was a landmark in gaming history. if there going to re-make the exact same game with HD graphics and maby more materia i would buy it in a heartbeat.

I just have a hard time believing if/when FFVII get's remade, it will only be a graphic remake. If this was FFVIII or FFIX, then it may not go beyond the graphics and possibly tweaks to the battle system, but if S-E spent so much time and money on all the added FFVII titles (and say what you will about them being unnecessary, but they sold and made the munniez), why wouldn't they take those stories and characters into account for a hypothetical FFVII remake? Heck, that's what I would do. Regardless of the fans of the original SquareSoft game that may boycott the game, I guarantee the amount of new fans and generally open minded people like me that would buy the game will outnumber the nay sayers.

As for platform, it's true I think PS3 right away, but honestly, I'm all for a PSP game :monster:

Square... Square Enix or Soft or whatever one you'd prefer... Please, push... and give birth to your overdue Final Fantasy Versus and Agito XIII and then go ahead and make a freakin' remake of Final Fantasy VII, and at the same time, with all your other teams, start doing Final Fantasy XV, and cut off all your other side projects no one needs or cares about. For example, who said we needed those 3 or so Kingdom Hearts games that you recently released, who needed Parastive Eve 3? and WHY do you need to do Dungeon Seige III? Just... If you go 100% Final Fantasy, I would love you.

^ You mean Kingdom Hearts, the series that's so far sold 12,000,000+ units in over 8 years? Yes, who gives a crap about it? :wacky:

Nah, I get what you mean, I do, but Square-Enix isn't only about Final Fantasy. It's the mothership brand, for sure, but they have more stuff worth checking out. And anyways, although I don't understand all the hate, with the overly vocal more-bad-than-good reception for FFXIII (and FFXIV apparently), S-E's gonna have to have other games to fall back on, right?

I know a LOT of people are genuinely excited for 3rd Birthday too, and I'm interested even though I'm not very informed about it.

And as far as I know, no one game company only has one game series to it's name - at least no successful one :lew:
