I was recently told by a friend of my sister that a woman who plays games like Final Fantasy is major pulling power.

This was news to me, as I generally found that guys were put off by women who played Final Fantasy and similar type games. (These men in question probably being the types who play Medal of Honour and war-type games).

I'm just curious to see if anyone else has noticed this, or if they have seen whether playing a particular type of game has drawn the other gender's attention. I personally think it's absolute codswallop, but I am curious to hear what everyone else thinks.

This is news to me tbh :lew: as a guy though if I ended up being attracted to a woman, what games she plays wouldn't be a huge factor beyond common interest xD

I Completely agree with Mortel,

if I walked in and found my Better half sat on a Final fantasy Game i would simply ask her how she is doing, it wouldn't make me love her any more, it would give us another thing in common granted, but i like her for her, not what Game she plays.

granted i can see the up side to people who are just starting out in relationships, as it would give them something in common that could branch out into them talking about things and finding that they have loads in common, but me personally i don't really mind what game the woman in my life plays, as we have loads in common already so it doesn't really matter to me.

Yeah its completely true. We only like girls who play girly games like the sims. Women who play shoot em ups are too manish.

lewis edit: this thread is a bit silly ;)

Yeah that seems to be BS in my opinion but hey you never know. Everyone has their own perspective and perhaps to some people it would attract them. Generally though I think a lot of people consider Final Fantasy games to be more aimed and targeted towards the females. However I think that does not matter because I like them none the less =)

Gamers of either gender have pulling power, being friends and gaming together shouldnt be about attraction, it should be about having a good time.

Sharing common interests is always a plus. I'd say that liking FF games can only give you pulling power if the dude you 'pull' also likes FF games.

Bruce the Bodybuilder, for example, might be disinterested with the whole thing, and may disregard it, change the subject, or even see you as geeky (in his eyes, a negative). But, meet a guy who loves Final Fantasy and you'll have something to discuss, and that could lead to an increased interest in you as you'll have something in common, and in his eyes it would be a plus.

I wouldn't say that any girl should feel the need to like Final Fantasy in order to gain pulling power skills, as I don't think that it is true. Any interest, if shared and genuine, can help a bit I'd imagine.

Was it DarkSquall who told your sister that?:hal:
Unfortunately I think Argor is right, all that shared interest stuff etc etc.
There are only a couple of things that attract everyone, those being nice tits ofc.
And of course my pal Big Casino/Jerome is also right, girls that play cod are far too manly and if they killed us we would emasculated.
