Evanescent Fairytale {RP}

Having surveyed the battle for a few moments now, Vargan was growing impatient, was it so tough to fight a god? A god is naught more than spirit energy on the earth, something Vargan posessed great knowledge on. "It seems these weaklings could use some help if they take this long..."

Vargan walked inside, nimbly walking across the shaking ground before pointing his sword between the two gods. "You both look like you could use a worthy opponent! Why not try me?" Vargan held his Claymore behind him, held upwards in one hand, a tremendous feat for any man, made to look easy by Vargan. "unless you're a pair of cowards, unworthy of godly pride"

OOC: I'm not going all out, SOMEONE HIT ME!

Mystro had struck the arms of his opponent, and at that, he then got a reaction from his enemy as Thriftor shot a few earth porjectiles at Mystro, and naturally, he saw them and reacted as fast as possible. One of them managed to hit his arm in his evasion process. This made Mystro let out a shout, and slightly gain sanity back. He managed to pinch out some words and a temporary state of control. His eyes were flickering with sanity. He said to whomever may be closest or had heard him, "Hit me...NOW!" but he instantly returned to his insanity, grinning ferociously. He might end up hurting an innocent if he stay like this.

Shosta marveled at the winged warrior. She had begun to take an interest in this one. As Phallia shot ice darts at her, Shosta knew at once why she had favored this hero. The stards hit her as she allowed them to and at that she fell to the floor unable to fight any longer.

Thiftor had been severly punched by the machine like warrior and had landed beside Shosta in a small moment. Together these gods had stood again, but this time they both held up their hands.

"You both look like you could use a worthy opponent! Why not try me?"

"The battle is over..." began Shosta in her misty voice. Take the spear that lies in the room beyond this one..."

With that Shosta had began to disappear into a mist which circled Phallia before resting inside her.

"Ugh." said Thiftor. "Heheh, Ya got us..."

Thiftor melted into sand before resting inside Seridaxon. Both guardians were gone, defeated, but their voices echoed into the air. "Call us when you need us warriors." their voices echoed and then there was nothingness...

-After obtaining the spear, this is the part of the story where you may decide to either leave the group and go solo or to stay together as travelers.

News: Profiles of the captured Guardians will be PM'd to it's owners.

Despite the fact that the battle had ended Ahrexian knew something had to be done about Mystro.

He picked his moment and sent a shock through the dragoon's body, just e nough to render him unconcious for a few seconds, and in the time repositioned his body to face away from the carnage that had been wrought throughout the battle.

"That should be enough to keep him sane" Ahrexian thought to himself... Having a dragoon around was causing almost as many problems as it was solving...

Seridaxon walked into the second room where the earth spear was he picked it up and walked back into the room with the others his spear slotted into a sheath on his right forearm, He looked around and grinned under his helmet...

Clearly showing signs of a mix of rage and disgust he lowered his weapon and buried the tip in the ground enough for it to stay without him holding it. Vargan then crossed his arms "Cowards, not even gods seem that powerful if they flee at the first sign of me" Vargan turned, pulling his sword roughly out of the ground before walking outside, sword held backwards in hand. Turning his head slightly he called to everyone inside "I have no reason to stay with you, particularly the mages among you. If I am to assume we all get one of these spears it would be better found in teams of two. Unless you are that weak you can't take on these pathetic excuses for gods by yourself?" Vargan then began to walk on, trying to find a pathway down the mountain from it's natural surface. Compared to the rocks back home this was naught more than a hindrance.

Virginia said to the brash, boisterous soldier in an almost mocking attitude, "Heh, you go ahead soldato (Soldier) boy, just don't get yourself killed getting a spear."

Now that the first spear is recovered, Virginia needed to make a plan on what to do from there, and if she would be traveling with someone.

Earthly Realm

Riley followed officer Samantha as she tailed a man in a green coat through the streets. "Why are we doin this? Just arrest him." said Riley annoyed.

"I cant arrest him if I don't have evidence." said Samantha. "He's said to be under suspicion, but it's hard to get to him with all of these crminals everywhere."

"And that's where I come in?" asked Riley.

They followed the green coated man into an alley. The alley was long and with twists and turns. Riley held his guitar like a bat. "Shouldn't you have a gun?" Riley asked. "It would be helpful in these situatons."

"Shhhh!" went Samantha. "I'll tell you later."

The two had just one more corner to turn into the dead end alley. As they made the turn a shocked look came to their faces. The man they had been following had suddenly disappeared.

"I thought you said youwere getting out of here." came a snooty voice from behind.

Riley turned in suprise only to find that it was the child from the shelter. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "You should have stayed in the shelter."

"Go home kid." went Samantha.

"But he invited me!" went the child as he pointed at Riley.

"What? Why you little sh-"

"Stop!" went Samantha's voice. "Somethings coming."

She was right as foot steps could be heard coming down the alley from behind. Riley ran towards a pile of boxes and dove underneath. The others followed suit, and within minutes, the person had came to the alleys end. It was the green coated man Riley and Samantha had been following, but withhim were two rather large doglike beasts which could only be describes as monsters of hell. Riley spotted this from a crack in the smelly boxes in which they hid and covered the childs mouth just in case.

The man had stood there for a while, glaring around for his pursuers. And then he slowly walked away. His white features etched into Riley's brain....

Mystro suddenly felt a shock of electricity run through his body, taking him away from insanity. It was no doubt it was Ahrexian doing it. This shock made him pass out for a few moments. It was odd in this unconciousness, because he began to see things. He was watching himself do something.

He saw himself at his current age talking with someone. It was clear this was not a very populated area, and it seemed to be slightly isolated. However there was something about it that was very familiar. It was almost frighteningly familiar. The man he was talking with was shrouded under white and grey clothes, and his face could not be seen. They seemed to be discussing buisness.

The Mystery man spoke first. "You have done a lot for me in the past my dear friend Mystro. I have another task for you to fulfill if you wish to remain my loyal friend in buisness." They both seemed to be having a drink in a pub, and there was a pause for Mystro to take his drink before speaking back.

"Indeed, we have done much in the past. What is it you wish me to do now?"

"There is a land to the east of here, and there is said to be a civilization there. Thing is, nobody has ever gone there and came back to tell the tail. However do not be intimidated, this is also in team with several rumors, thus causing people to lose intrest in going. I doubt many have ever even tried. There is only two recorded to have gone, and anything could have happened. It is called the unknown land."

"And you want what of me?"

"Mystro, I want you to go there and give them this item if you find them." The man held a strange looking rock. The rock was a crimson red, but was also semi-lucid. It had a reflecting glow to it, and Mystro felt it was something rather odd."This stone is a kind of stone that lands only on the shores of beaches close to the land I have spoken of. It is presumable that they hail from that land. This is considered a precious ore, and can drive anything mad."

"What will I be doing with this stone other than giving it to them? There seems to be something unspoken. Tell me everything."

"Ahhhh Mystro, always keeping a sharp ear. I'm afraid I cannot tell you that just yet. I have put inside this crimson ore a briefing of what will be done, so when you hold it, you will know what is to happen. I'm afraid to inform you that I cannot tell you more than what I already have."

Mystro had a suspicious look in his eyes, but said, "I'm trusting you Perseus, may god help you if you break that trust."

The man called Perseus had a confident feeling about him, "Then that means I have nothing to worry about. Have I ever lied?"

"No, but everyone who has heard of you knows of you and your manipulation of words, a skill not even the greatest orator could look beyond."

"I am lucky to have a friend as yourself. Tomorrow we head out to the unknown land. Be there at sunrise."

Perseus had walked off, leaving Mystro there to enjoy what would be his last day.

As the present Mystro watched this, he began to realize this visionary dream was in fact one of the most recent parts of his memory. Who is Perseus? And what was he having me do? Questions circled as he awoke to hear Vargan speak.

"I have no reason to stay with you, particularly the mages among you. If I am to assume we all get one of these spears it would be better found in teams of two. Unless you are that weak you can't take on these pathetic excuses for gods by yourself?"

Mystro heard the tone and had not much respect for this. Mystro had not opened his eyes, knowing the potential sanity loss he could suffer, and stood. His arm ached feircely, but he hid it quite well. "Someone, guid me out, I'll not look until I know I see no more blood."

Unity sighed. Apparently, there was no need for her spell. Stopping the chant to summon the spell, she allowed herself to return to her normal state- white eyes, and no bolts of lightning around her. It was then; she habitually raised her hood over her head once again.

She did this just in time to hear Mystro’s request as well.

"Someone, guide me out, I'll not look until I know I see no more blood."

Although she had little interest in this person, she felt it would be best to help him. After all, she had the intention to follow the group and aid them when possible. This may well be a good way to do that. “Allow me to guide you along then.” She said to the Dragoon, tapping his shoulders.

"I have no reason to stay with you, particularly the mages among you. If I am to assume we all get one of these spears it would be better found in teams of two. Unless you are that weak you can't take on these pathetic excuses for gods by yourself?"

Seridaxon glared at the man, was he so up himself he thought he could actually beat a god, ture the elementals were pretty average but still a man vs a god.

Seridaxon followed the man out of the shrine and watched his move down the mountainside.

"You know you want to"

Seridaxon grinned at the smart remark his AI CPU made before tipping a pillar over the edge of the mountainside after the man, Seridaxon never intended to hit the man but mabey that was the only way to get his attention. Seridaxon activated his battle systems and called out in a booming voice.

"I may not have my abilities but i still count as a god if you want to try me, i may even Let you kill me this bodies old and should be succeeded, if you're feeling lucky maby by you" Seridaxon screamed

Phallia felt an enormous drop in her stomach as the ice settled into her very soul. The depth of its power was nothing to what it had shown just then. Truly, had it wished for it, the elements could have perhaps crush the entire party. Then again, it would have defeated its purpose of testing the heroes.

"I have no reason to stay with you, particularly the mages among you. If I am to assume we all get one of these spears it would be better found in teams of two. Unless you are that weak you can't take on these pathetic excuses for gods by yourself?"

The owner of the voice grated slightly on Phallia's nerves. As a religious woman, she could not tolerate well with those who blaspheme against a God, regardless of religion.

Hmph...ignoramous fool....

Unwilling to be pulled into a frontal confrontation with the Heretic, Phallia turned off and walked around aimlessly. She has a Spear. If each person present was to have one, then her job was done. Should she help someone on their quest? One person caught her eyes again, and that was the cat woman. Slowly, and keeping to the edge in case the armour man and the heretic decided to go at each other, Phallia approached her.

You are an interesting one. I jave yet seen a race with both feline and human traits.

Virginia looked up at the religious individual as she made that remark. "My race is common where I live. As for your race, I have read about people from a race similar to yours, but you are entirely different from what they say in the books."

Looking at the spear that everyone helped to recover, Virginia said, "So, we all are going to be hunting for spears. Well it's not the first time I was going to go retrieve an object of importance, finché vado con Dio. (so long as I go with God)"

Mystro felt a friendly hand touch his shoulder and offer him a way to be safely taken out. He nodded and said, "Just so long as I see no blood. Surely you noticed during the fight what happens." Mystro stood the rest of the way up and put his arm out reaching for the other persons shoulder. "They call me Mystro, as that is my name, what should you be called?" Mystro asked this with an innocent voice, hoping to get to know this person, as it could prove useful. There was much sound in his surroundings, and he was unsure of what had been happening, but the sound painted a good picture for him.

Hearing the pillar fall behind him he narrowly dodged to the left, avoiding it. Removing his Claymore he was the well armoured man with the spear, obviously his attacker. "so, you'd dare attack an opponent you've yet to see fight? Ah well, I guess you'll have to do after your little 'god' friends ran off at the mere sight of me. Sure, they are physically superior to a human, but so am I. And I know exactly how to hurt a god, unlike you fools"

Holding his Claymore in one hand he didn't ready himself for combat... Not yet. For fighting another human he'd barely need it anyway, particularly if this stayed Hand-to-Hand. Honour was something he took seriously and he wouldn't strike an unarmed man with his blade. Even if his opponent lacked honour, using cowardly surprise tactics, he was above this.

Seridaxon grinned.

"You speak of me as if i were a human, my powers lie dormant within me because I simply haven't needed to use them, I have never met a challenge worthy of my effort so im hoping your different"

Seridaxon looked down at the small man below him and smiled he wasn't even attempting to prepare for his onslaught.

Good man Seridaxon thought to himself he still retains his honor, but in this case theres not much difference between honor and stupidity

"boy, id pick that claymore up if i were you" Seridaxon shouted mockingly as he started running down the cliff towards the man.

"Don't go to hard on him"

"Shut down Aeva processor, activate primal processor"

Seridaxon was now running on pure instinct to destroy as he ran all the gears and pistons in his body started going into overdrive.

Kyrie had sat back and watched the battle between the group and the two Elementals. Frankly, she wasn't very keen on entering a battle she wasn't sure was relevant to her or her people. Yes, the spears were involved, but they were the spears of ice and earth, no great friend to a being belonging to a race that worshipped the wind. She had debated whether or not simply to return to the Aerie, and inform the Elders of what she had learned in Cia, and what she had seen here. But, in the end, she realized she didn't have nearly enough information.

She watched the group fight, impressed by how their disparate skills more or less came together to work as a team in conquering the two foes. It struck her, however, that they were still fighting as seven individuals who happened to be near each other, instead of one cohesive unit. Something in the back of her mind told her that this would have to change if they were to be successful in their ultimate goal.

Now she watched as they paired off to hunt the other spears. Or, in the case of Seridaxon and Vargan, apparently to fight. Knowing that Air was one of the elements, Kyrie figured there had to a Guardian of Air, and thus a temple, and a spear. As such, without so much as a word to the others, she began making her way up the mountain in the opposite direction of the temple.

She headed back to the Aerie.

((OOC: By now, I suppose most, or all of you should know my level of activity. Nevertheless, I’ll just continue posting until the owner of the RP decides to remove my character. Right now, it’s amusing that I have quite sufficient time, thanks to the Lunar New Year holidays, but that won’t last…. Whatever, I’ll take things as it comes.

By the way, Grahf, since your spear’s guardian would be with mine, I suppose I’ll have my character follow yours.

… So, you’ll notice that I copied and pasted this OOC message if you read A Kingdom Darkly…… AND, Ultimate Elementum. ))

“My name is Unity, Unity Ilf, but you may just call me Unity.”

Folding her arms as she said this, she turned over to look briefly at the others. For now, two of the spears had been claimed, but there was more to be found. To see how the group was now splitting up was somewhat disheartening, but Unity decided that it would be best if they do so.

Nevertheless, for now, Unity wondered about their next step. Amongst the group, there was this particular female that was leaving alone, and certainly caught her attention. Instead of heading back down the mountain, she was going up. “Hey, come along.” Unity whispered to Mystro, then quickly walking over to Kyrie.

“Hello,” She said, when she was within earshot of the girl. “My name’s Unity.

I’m not sure about this, but where are you heading towards, and can we follow you?”

It seemed rude to actually ask this of a complete stranger whose only experience with she was the short battle earlier, but Unity did not care less.

"So, we all are going to be hunting for spears. Well it's not the first time I was going to go retrieve an object of importance, finché vado con Dio. (so long as I go with God)"

Ah... i see. A devout believer of one's religion. It appears that the band seems to be disbanding. Since i have obtained one such spear, do you wish some assistance in the search for yours?

Unlike some of the other heroes, Phallia had a fair amount of time and patience. She was on a pilgrimage for finding ones self and she was in no rush to go anywhere. Maybe helping others might be worthwhile for her experience?

The commotion between the giant armour clad being and the heathen continued and it irked Phallia.

In any case, we should depart from the caverns before we become involved in their petty squabbles.

Virginia responded back "Grazie (Thank you), I appreciate the help."

She looked at the two warriors arguing and getting ready for a fight. She thought, "Alcune persone si comportano come degli idioti. (Some people just act like idiots.)"

Looking back at the angelic figure, she said, "I agree, let us go."

Usually, Virginia would only trust in others who had the same objective she did, and this was no different. They also had something in common, like some sort of spiritual connection. It seemed weird at first, especially since they were of different races and cultures. It seemed difficult to understand and the best way to do so was to ask. Virginia believed that Phallia would have an answer to some of these questions.

But the first thing she decided to ask was a name. "I never did get your name."
