Right. ill try to emulate your Student Handbook set out as much as possible. What should i limit the class to be?

And Kudos to you for this rp. Even with all the bumps and issues, its still a pleasure to rp in it after 35 pgs.

I finished a very rudimentary thread for the timetable. I might miss something. Read through it and tell me if you want anything added or changed.

Well, looks like I'm going to seriously try get myself back into the swing of things here at the Eureka Academy, no more one month stretches of no post from me. :D

Sorry I haven't been active in so long though in the RP, no good excuse, I should have had ample time to fit in a post now and then... ^^;
 
Yeah, I think he just kinda left it behind, I don't think it was that he was just so busy working on the RPG Inferno. xP

Could have been some real life issues interfering there too, but I have a lot of spare time, and I'll try stay on top of this a lot better now, like I always was early on. ^_^
 
Finally got in a much needed post in EA, and it felt fucking good typing up. It was hella win, and for some reason, that's one of my favorite posts in here. I feel it really brings out a little more of the impatient and annoyed side of Raistlin. :griin:
 
I'm going to start my post today and finish it tomorrow for max epicness. I owe a really good post, as I especially have no excuse. I also have a lot of reading to do...unless somebody is kind enough to summarize where we are :hmmm:

He'll figure out something to do. He always does. Possibly stalk Raistlin from the skies. :andry:
 
Then they can just meet up to catch the Thief of Eureka :monocle: Admittedly less romantic and potentially more violent than breakfast but beggars can't be choosers, unfortunately.

Edit: Diar, Crimson Wolf and Amane already got there since before you made that post. :ffs: Or do you mean for it to specifically be from a time before they arrived? Oliver doesn't like time skipping.

Okay guys between myself and the roster coordinator (thats what the dude who makes class schedules was called at my old school) we have rebranded Nova's class Combat theory which will deal with anything related to combat but not actually combat. Things like "terrain advantage", "elementary field craft and survival" as well as balance and such. Thursday classes will be basic class room theoretical work and friday afternoon classes will be applied, (ie Balance testing on a sailboat) friday classes are open to anyone who wants to join even students who aren't enrolled... As always Class topics can be submitted and i'll put it on the curriculum. Next week will probably be dealing with terrain advantage, positioning and Line of sight versus Line of effect, applied on Friday possibly with a paintball tournement unless i get some other ideas;) Edit: is it just me or did the format get totally fubar:s i made that in 3 paragraphs...
 
If this is the case, someday Arukab and Nova should have a joint class :hmmm: The Armed Combat teacher helping with that could prove very benificial
 
Sure will you be bringing your own stretcher or should i do it? Because if we're sparring Nova will need some defininitions on "acceptable collateral" and a firm answer to "are we sparring or fighting" since to Nova those things are quite seperate and distinct...

But shoot me a PM with your offer and we can work it out that way...
 
Careful what you get into with that Nova character, I can't emphasize enough the difference between two extremes, that being said; Spar, not fight. Trust me on this... X_x
 
Though, let's not make the assumption Nova would automatically best Arukab.

That's like saying she'd automatically best Veerle or Raistlin or any member of the Student Council/DisCom (being a teacher doesn't automatically make you stronger than everyone) :mokken:
 
If Nova would lose in a fight, it would probably result in the very death of her...I don't know that she would admit defeat, but that's just me...

Oh, and how did you like my post Vikki? I accepted the challenge. xD
 
I didn't mean they would fight, they would have a joint class. Both teachers teaching the students is what I meant, no sparring.

Besides, Arukab really is nearly impossible to actually kill :hmmm: But he can be defeated. But my thoughts were, since he teaches armed combat, then it might be necessary to teach what weaponry should work best in what terrain.

HOWEVER if you wanted a spar (Which by definition is highly different from a fight) I would gladly take you up on that offer :ryan: My Arukab is one tough cookie...like a silver cookie (pun). Plus so much more to him, having only one weakness :wacky:
 
My statement is based primarily one one major difference between Nova and everyone else on this academy, Nova's body count, all people have a mental aversion to killing, this is what everyone pulls their punches until they have been thoroughly trained NOT TO. Nova can and has killed with her bare hands in cold blood and is mostly over this downside, not to mention that she has a habit of fighting effectively. Krav Maga and Pendar Silat do not make for "nice" fighting styles both of them are designed to kill or incapaciotate the enemy with minimal risk and maximum efficienty. you try to pucnh me? I attempt to break that arm, if i have the correct angle i'll break it more then once "just to make sure".

That and Nova cheats;) "hand to hand combat"? *pulls a knife or a gun or something*

All of this said I dont want to fight any of you... PM me your lesson plan and i'll see if i can work it into my curriculum...

@ Crimson, ooh she's very good at admitting defeat she also very good at getting even though:)
