downside to picking roles already filled by other chars...

Not to mention that everyone seems to be to busy running missions to show up for class...
 
I suggest the teachers post the class for the enxt day in the student handbook or have a totally different thread for it. Just like the mission thing, there is a lesson thread for people to join with a limit.

In addition, a time slot could also be added such as morning and afternoon classes. The reason no one goes to class is because iots a completely "rock up as you please" right now.

I've been a bit busy in real life to post or even read up on what I've missed. I'm hoping to set aside the rest of today to do so, so HOPEFULLY, I'll get a post up here... if I've missed too much and shit has skipped around my characters though, don't expect too much O_O
 
I've just had no time to dedicate to RPing at all lately. :sad3: It's sad, but I have to continue to work on the RPG Inferno steadily, hopefully I'll be able to make a post now and then...but it is hard, when I really want to do as good a job as I can with the RPG... :gonk:

I really, really hate to have to say this, but if this keeps up, I'm pretty much completely inactive as it is, so I could possibly end up having to take a break from RPing for an unknown period of time...

Would it be possible for Athena to just lead the mission she was leadig before?
 
*ahem*....It....has come to my attention....that there have been certain complaints about a certain individual.....within this and other RPs....This Rp has been meant to help beginners, but if there is no improvement then that person shall go. There has also been tension between certain groups of people and numerous violations of the forum rules. There has been a complaint filed which several other students agree on. This being said, both Orion and Blade have been expelled from Eureka Academy.

Also for those who don't know Posting in this RP for over a month can also get you expelled/fired. So with this I also expell the following students:

Now you can rejoin in August or wheneve you find time to get back on the computer more often. But until then, Eureka will be giving your studets a little summer vacation. Relax! It's not like many of you posted or came online all that often anyways.

Those on the next list are in danger of expulsion if there isn't a post soon. We are on day 3 people so there is no excuse as to why you couldn't give your character a fresh start to a new day sooooo:

These students have until I get back from my summer college thing on the 31st of July to post. Now as for missions. If the expelled names are on them then don't include them on the mission naturally and there is no open spaces if so.

Now if you aren't on either list then I am proud to say that you will be awarded instant 30+ ranking for perfect attendance. That is all! ^_^

EDIT: :tehe: Teaching real people isn't my thing. I'd be horrible at it :gonk:

Well they kept loyal and it can be a real strain trying to post somewhere where not may people have been posting in. It's a nice reward for those who have been dedicated and stuck with it till the end. Not to say that the rest of you aren't. It just takes alot of time, energy and internet to be able to post often. I'm just giving a generous award for this clause. I want them to keep it up and I hope that others will follow suit. It's a pet peeve of mine to see a story unfinished, and of course RP's take team effort to tell a great story. This is my reasoning. Plus theres like tons of rank I still have to give out. I'm just too lazy to find all the papers and post it yet...

I just wrote down some development in Raistlin's story. I won't post it in here, but it actually has something to do with the rankings and stuff. To be honest, I was ignoring the rankings and just started this as a normal RP. Afterall, Raistlin has his own weapon, and can teleport, so he has no need for the stores.

Further more, he's self trained in magic, and doesn't even go to class. So I was thinking to myself... Just what the fraking frak is Raistlin even doing at an academy? Leader of the Disciplinary Committee, low ranking, black sect. The more I thought about it, the less sense it made.

So, I started coming up with a few reasons as to why Raistlin, a proficient Mage, high ranking in family, would bother coming to school for a second year in a row. Why become head of the Disciplinary Committee and not care for his ranking at school at all? So, needless to say, I started writing down character centric plot points to actually give Raistlin more depth as a character, and give him some goals.

However, some of these, I want to bounce off of you, Oliver. Because a couple of them you're going to have to approve. :wacky:

I'll send them to you in a PM when I actually get some rest. I'm going to look over them when I wake up and see if what I wrote down makes any kind of sense at all. :rofl:
 
So day 3 is friday right? We didnt have classes on Wednesday so thursday they started. Can we get like a class schedule going? It seems we have only two sessions each day, morning and afternoon which means class probably takes about 2 hours, maybe more. Additionally how are we scheduling classes? Are they a daily thing like in some high schools or on a college type schedule where it might only be monday and wednesday or tuesday and thursday, perhaps all week? And do we get weekends off?


Honestly i think we need to set up a class schedule before we get more involved in it. From what i have read both Arukab and Nova's classes are thursdays in the morning session. And I know Mishra is running Monday, wednesday and friday mornings for his offensive alchemy classes. Can we see some more input from teachers so we can get an accurate schedule for classes?
 
What i had suggested before would be pretty good. What i said was basically have a thread for Teachers to post their lesson dates.

EG: Today is thursday, so teachers that want their lessons on friday would post their lesson in that thread for people to sign up for.

We have a morning and afternoon session like what Gavin said, plus a number limit. Cant have everyone going to one lesson and not the others.

This way, we can guarantee people showing up and knowing WHEN to show up and WHEN the lessons are on. Truthfully, not everyone reads entire posts, so some may miss out on the part that says when the lesson is one. I believe this to be the easiest way to make the lessons work.

What do you think?
 
Okay so currently in the RP Day 3 is Friday because there are people planning to take that day off. Day 4 will be a day for students to relax

A thread for teachers to post their lesson plans and what not would be genious, but I don't have much time to create it. Is there someone willing to volunteer to set one up for me? Including a daily scheduele would be nice and including the current day wouldn't be too stressful wouldn't it? Anyway i'll be waiting as I don't think I could take on another responsibility with this RP :P
 
I can try i guess, but i cant promise anything spectacular. If i cant do it or it turns into a mess, ill let someone else have a shot. Is that okay?

So its friday on day three, saturday and sunday holidays?
