The first rule to love is to learn how to love and accept ourselves. They can't truly love someone if they harm their own bodies.:dry:

Then they're not emo's. You're an emo if you DO cut yourself, if you DO whine, if you DO claim that you're depressed. If your friends don't do this then it's obvious that they're not emo's.

Anyway there's a girl in my class (my best friend Carolanne) who looks like an emo but isn't. Everyone keeps on calling her that and she gets really annoyed.

Some people mistake emos with goths. -_-

Exactly the point I was trying to make. It's like saying that you're Mexican even though you have no Mexican roots and have never been to Mexico. People aren't *born* emo, if they are called emo then that would suggest that they fit into the stereotype.

So very true. Being emo is largely self-centered because you tend to focus on your problems and deny how anyone could have things worse.

As I said before, people are emo because they want to be. They're looking for a social group to join, at a young age people usually try various cliques to see who they fit in with and find out who they are inside.
 
There are more guy emos than gals. Girls are smarter, at least that is what the scientists say.

Emo is Goth's cousin I keep saying
 
Emos can be annoying and boring. I would rather be with somebody that takes a more logical outlook on life.

Not sure if I've touched on this aspect of the emo trend yet, but why is it cool to be "bi" now? It's pathetic. ZOMG I KISSED SOME1 OF TEH SAME SECKS I MUST BE BI! Um...no. If you're bi, you'd fuck someone of the same sex too, not just kiss someone of the same sex to impress or turn on your friends.

So I've been speculating just HOW long this emo trend is going to last (and the scene trend that rivals it). I'm guessing no more than a few years. Anyone know what the underground trends are? Then we could determine if we needed to brace ourselves or not.

I must comment on this, good sir.
There is a term called bi-curious, which I trust you can deduce what means all on your lonesome.
And if I understand that term correctly, it doesn't directly imply getting penis in anus or tongue in vagina.

OMG! What's with that guy in that picture? Damn that's so.....crappy....but since this is the emo thread I am not that surprised. He looks like a woman with a moustache....disgusting.:|
