Doctor Who

i enjoyed the last episode as well, and it was pretty sad as well, i had a bit of a cry, but im on my period, so im allowed. I loved how it panned out though,
i wasnt expecting both 'realities' to be dreams

i still havent had chance to watch the venice one proper, and i imagine its too late now :gonk:

Also, Im strangely more attracted to the new doctor with each passing episode :mokken:

I think its time i made dave buy a bow tie :mokken:

I didnt think to check tbh I just assumed they only kept them for a week

I think Il check it out tomorrow, gimme summat to do if its on. Hope so :gonk:

Vampires of Venice and Amy's Choices were good episodes.

The latter got stick from some critics, but I actually enjoyed it myself. As Pooley's already established, it was dark and compelling. But I'm with Kelly here,
never did I ever imagine both of them would be dreams!
Not too sure about Rory myself yet, he seems like another Mickey in my eyes.

I've been thinking that about Rory too, but I suppose it's hard to move away from the jealous boyfriend thing, when that's all he really is and can be.

Didn't think I'd like Matt Smith as the Doctor, I was wrong, I do. However he does seem to remind me too much of Tennant at times which is rather annoying. I've been enjoying most of the episodes, some have a really old-school feel to them, and Matt reminds me of Patrick Throughton at times too which is nice for a change.

And I want Amy Pond on my lap RIGHT NOAW!

I have a theory about the Dream Lord.

After what The Doctor says at the end
about him being the DL and it being basically his "bad side" and the way he looked at his reflection, then with the line "only one person in the Universe hates me as much as you"
That he may very well be The Valeyard in it's earliest form.

For those who don't know who I mean: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Valeyard

Seems very possible.

I heard about that earlier from my housemate, and it seems entirely plausible to me. It might also mean that Moffat is planning on writing at least as far as that incarnation of The Doctor.

A two-parter for this week? I was a little surprised, but I'm glad they've gone for it. The story kind of feels Russell Davies-esque, and I think it would maybe have suited David Tennant's acting a little more. I'm guessing that
it's going to be Rory who kills Alaya.

I hadn't been a massive fan of him really; he seemed a lot too much like Mickey to me, but I was actually sad to see him go. And Moffat is really setting up a fantastic finale to teh series. I just hope it lives up to what he's making it to be.

I really believe he'll return. That whole "time can be re-written" thing The Doctor said. Amy will remember him at some point to, she'll find the ring he left in the TARDIS.

Something huge is going to go down for the finale, can not wait, I think we'll be seeing a a few of the Doc's old enemies during it. Cybermen, Daleks and so on all involved.

I thought the same thing about the ring.

I don't think Moffat has written the Cybermen into this series. The BBC are releasing a game online for free sometime, that involves the Cybermen attacking London. Apparently it's going to be integral to the story of this series.

Is anybody else sort of tired with the Cybermen and wish Doctor Who would go a season without them?

...or just me?

I'm more tired of Earth then reappearing enemies. He has the whole of time and space, wish they'd utilize that more. Budget may be a problem, but come on.

Gotta admit, in the first two seasons they did a lot more galaxy hopping than they have this season around. =/

Cybermen were just a dalek mimic in my opinion. When I saw the new daleks, I yelled, "Holy shit! Its the power rangers in dalek form!"

I cried as well D:

I rather liked Rory, and I welllllll didn't see that coming (had to iPlayer it yet again <_<) I didn't think as much of the first part of this one, but the 2nd part made up for it. Just omg, what a double blow, dying AND being forgotton, and when he pulled that mangled bit of the Trdis from that crack as well I well just liked OMG'd really loud

I can't WAIT to see where they are going with this

And yeah, the ring, I reckon she will come across it and spaz out over it at some point
