Following the news about Prishe’s combo maker style, Square Enix USA sent us this piece of Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy artwork.
And a handful of screenshots of the Final Fantasy XI character. In one of them, Prishe is talking to fellow Final Fantasy XI alum Shantotto. One of them (it isn’t clear who) says their research on the final magic spell is coming to a close…

Hahahaha what the hell greatest attack ever? xD. Glad to see the rest maintained their voices. Vaan sounds the same to me . Laguna has never been voiced before but he sounds okayish lol. I like Yuna's voice like usual just please dont give her any terrible lines SE.

Y'know, from a gameplay perspective, it's kinda weird to have Squall assist Laguna in EX mode - really, the power that Laguna gets is from the latent combat effectiveness of Squall guiding his hand. Having Squall show up is a bit...
Although, the entire game operates under the MST3K Mantra, so I shall not question it further.
Going on and looking at some other movies, it seems that most of the characters are well done. There're a few more on Youtube with english VAs, and they all seem to fit the character. I also heard the J-E-N-O-V-A theme playing in combat and, I gotta say, it seems to work with the action. It's like taking the atmospheric sounds out of Bioshock and playing them on your MP3 list - probably not going to be as effective as in the game itself.
Now all we need to do is get our grubby paws on Prologus and we can all find out for themselves.
Parting words: we should all pray for something better than ad-hoc in this one. They've dropped some hints, but let's keep up some hope.

Vaan's voice has definitely become less annoying. Yuna's still got the same voice so I maintain my opinion that it's pretty good, just as long as she doesn't do the same as every VA in FFX done and start the game off with shit VAing.

I don't know what they could do to extend connectivity beyond ad-hoc though. Maybe they'll have the ability for S-E Members to be able to connect over the internet through their PCs or something..?

-In picking which skills to use, consider the followings: range and startup on Starters, knock back direction, chase/wall rush properties on Finishers. Also the amount of EX Force produces differs, and some attacks are charge-able.
-SkillChain is performed by doing Brv attacks in specific order, it provides a bonus damage. It won't alter the properties on the attacks, its sole purpose is for the additional damage. The only thing that's different from FFXI is the amount of damage bonus. Anyway SkillChain is not the focus in DDFF, the main point is to combine different attacks for combos.
-Too bad Magic Burst is not available.
-In Ex Mode, the "Finisher" could be done 1 more time (hence combo of 3 attacks).
-EX Burst occurs in a very fast tempo.
Map
-In the Omega version of Empyreal Paradox, the light from underground is absorbed by the large crystal, sitting in the center of the map.
-Players that's close to the crystal will gradually lose Brave, absorbed by the crystal too.
-The absorbed Brave is added to the map brave.
-Damaging or Breaking part of the crystal could give you the map brave.
-Phantom Train is a narrow map, but the camera won't be bound, it can go outside of the train and the walls will become transparent.
-Seats could be destroyed.
-The camera will slightly shake, just like you are in a moving train.
