YouTube Dead Fantasy

I do not understand why there is no sight of Tidus in Dead Fantasy heh? x) All about Tifa, Rikku, Yuna and also a little bit of Cloud ;d Where the **** is FFX's main character ehh? xd
 
hm... no offense meant, but personally, Tidus never particularly grew onto me. Actually, the whole X series never really grew on. My guess is that they already have Yuna and Riku. Pick too much from one series and then the others are left without space, so i guess they picked THE most favourite character. Besides, it was originally all female, so when they tossed in the males, obviously Cloud will come first (at least i feel like cloud is more popular by fans that tidus, but i stand corrected).
 
Wow, watched all 5 episodes they have so far (I think it's 5, not sure) and kudos to the guy/team who created.

But there is no way those DOA girls could stand a chance against the FF cast though. ^^ And it was kind of lame to introduce the guys later on, too. I mean, Cloud alone can take on the DOA team.

Tidus is a prick. :X Glad he vanishes/doesn't really exist/jumps off the airship, at the end. Hah!

like i said, there would be no Dead fantasy 2,3,4,5 if we actually took the characters strength straight from the game. Plus, its unfair in anycase since the FF characters are all superheroes whilst the DOA are more realistic and human.

anyway, more comments on DF:

With DOA's lack of crazy superpowers, it would be cool to see Capcom and Street Fighters jumping in to help.

I don't know if I like the direction it's going, I kind of liked the chaotic super-smash-bros feel that it had in the first few eps. Although close-ups in 1v1 fights rock.

Tifa getting the materia beaten out of her, insane, best part so far. :awesome:
 
I liked number 4 the best. Yuna had the cutest look on her face when she was lookin at Cloud. Jeez that guy gets ALL the attention!
 
You know, with Ryu Hayabusa showing up, someone, besides Cloud, is bound to show up on the FF Team's side. Personally, I think Tidus may actually have the possibility of showing up this time. Cloud came to save Yuna, so I don't see a problem with Tidus poppin' up to rescue Tifa. I know that last place in DFV wasn't Zanarkand, but it looked slightly similar (I think). Maybe he'll show up there? Either him or Auron, but it's just a guess.
 
i would prefer Auron if they had to grab a guy from X. At the risk of being flamed, i really dont like tidus. I would LOL if they got onion knight from 3.

Anyway im hoping for vivi to pop in, i think he could be pretty agile if he wanted to be, he would be so cute jumping around everywhere:)

Also i want fran, i realise how little of a chance she has but she would be really cool i think. She is sort of like Tifa + Lulu + Naughtiness,
 
Hm? What's with the Tidus hate?......okay, I don't like him that much either, but still....

Anyway, I think I can understand Vivi showing up, since I've just recently noticed that a lot of people like him. As for Fran, I don't really think she's all that iconic yet. Hell, Paine never showed up, even though Yuna and Rikku did. I'm guessing it's since they're more well known. I don't even think you'd know who Paine was if you never played FFX-2. If anyone from XII was to show up, I'd guess someone like Ashe or Balthier. Possibly even Vaan, or Vayne if Monty wanted to add a villain.

I just assumed he was excluded simply because all of the men have, bar Cloud at the end of the last one.

It would be nice to see some more characters from different games. This is DOA vs Final Fantasy but it would be nice to see some square enix characters from games like Star Ocean and such. Well its up to the creator.
 
Definitely not. =/ I like it how it is. Final Fantasy VS Dead or Alive is awesome. I don't like Dead or Alive at all, so I'm totally for the FF side of it, hope he makes some new vids soon! xD <3 NOMNOM
 
I'd like to see him test his animation skills and adding Ultros into the fight.

He could fight with all his tentacles and take on the lot of them until Vivi or someone else casts fire on him etc.


But no I would like to see more FF characters appearing into this.

(I have only seen the first one, so if Ultros does appear then prod me and tell me to watch it).
 
I've been really wanting Monty Oum to do something unpredictable lately, like bringing in one of Final Fantasy's most monstrous bosses, like Omega Weapon or Yiazmat. You know, the hardcore bosses. That could make things a lot more interesting in my opinion. Mr. Oum could possibly mix them into the plot somehow, just so the story will stay on track.

Trust this to come from you XD though it's not really a bad thing.

In all honesty I'm kind of getting bored with it. It's nice that there's a whole plot going on now but Tifa's last fight was simply ridiculous. Just the amount of times she was beaten up to the point I was like.. what the hell? If anything Hitomi wins for her bitch slap. It was a total win.

And if anybody else was to be added I'd have to say Squall should come and fight Rinoa for stealing his gunblade. :wacky: She's far too overpowered for her own good.

Other than that I think the animation is rather lovely. For someone who was a high school drop out and is now employed and has a nice job going for him I'd have to say Monty Oum is god 8D I can't wait to see more of his works, though with his busy lifestyle that could be a good while..

He is currently working on something that has to do with Kairi. He wanted to know how fans felt about him making Kairi use anti-form. Which sounds freaking awesome, by the way.
