I hate Daylight Savings. :rage:

Stupid Queenslanders always carrying on facebook about how they forgot to set their clocks back and such.

I'm constantly asking them why they have it set to daylight savings time anyway! If they did, they'd be late/early for work all the time. Idiots! We don't do it!

I really do hate Daylight Savings. <_< I think I'll cry if they decide to implement it here.

It's certainly a little irritating. My main qualm is having to adjust to new eating times. By 6 o clock in the new time, I was famished (I'm used to eating between 6 and 7, so it felt like 7!)

Waking up a bit earlier I can handle, but having to eat later... WHY?! :gonk:

I like Daylight Savings.
Yes it's a pain losing an hour of sleep, but you get one back anyway.
You get more daytime, it stays light longer, I like it.

daylight saving.. clocks went back in the uk a few weeks ago ... extra hour sleep for us brits

I love daylight savings. I don't even care that I lose an hours sleep, I hardly even notice it. I hate during winter leaving work and getting home at 6pm in the dark. Now I can get home at the same time and it's sunny still and will stay sunny til about 8pm sometimes later.

I think the time should stay in DLS and not revert back, you don't need the extra sunlight in the morning while you're still sleeping.

It gets dark around half four here, which means without DST it would be getting dark around half three. That would be a much bigger pain in the ass then taking a day or two to adjust to waking up an hour early

I like being outside in the early morning hours of darkness & watching the sun rise.

I also like watching it go down below the horizon.

The link between sunshine and productivity doesn't mean much to me, bro.

:ohshit:

Lightbulbs + electricity = daytime / nighttime doesn't matter so much..

DST get on my nerves. I like the clocks going back, because it means it stays darker for longer, and it hails the coming of winter - even if I do wake up at 5am for the first week or so - but the clocks going forward annoys the fuck out of me. I'm never hungry at the right times, I sleep in and feel awful because of it, and it means more sunshine, which makes me miserable. The clocks shouldn't go forward, it's just annoying :mokken:

i dont see the point, its fucking pitch black when i leave work in an evening, yeah i might get an extra hour in bed, but then, it doesnt really work like that when im going to bed an hour earlier anyway...

also, it pains me knowing that when its 4pm, it was home time a few weeks ago :sad3:

Its a good thing. Scottish winters are very long and very dark. It gets light around 9.30pm then its dark by 3.30pm often earlier up in the north where i am. Its not a nice feeling being constantly stuck in the dark cold for months. The hour isnt alot, but its better than nothing at all.

See there's no point implementing it in Queensland. Our sunny days in Summer start around 4am and end around 7pm.

Then in Winter around 5am to 6pm.

An hour either way would not affect us whatsoever, as the sun is with us for a good few hours, so I don't know why they're even considering implementing it here.

The stupid thing is, that they want to divide Queensland in two, and have the Southern part with daylight savings and the Nothern part without.

Confusing idiots. :jtc:
