That's why I hate trance limit breaks and overdrives were the business. Just fill em and unleash on the bosses :D
 
The screaming probably doesn't help her. Alas, she's pixels, she has no feelings.
 
Trance really was awful. I think out of the many times I played IX, I had like one useful one.

I love the kinda randomness of Trance every now and again, but when it's just put to waste... :rage:
 
I sorta like the Trance swag they put on. Dynes wonderful, too. and DBL White....that's it. :hmmm:
 
The only time Trance helped me was during the final battle. Because Zidane tranced and was able to rape the person. The only time his Trance legitimately helped. :rage:

Eiko's Double White trance usually was spot-on when needed, so...Eiko's trance was very useful to me. As was Vivi's Doublecast/Double Black.
 
I quite enjoyed what do you call it. Elan? Amarant's Trance. But if there was only one enemy standing around like a knob, it was useless. :rage:

I never, EVER use Garnet in battle unless I have to because of this :jtc: If you do a proper amount of leveling, you can easily get through the game without her, especially with Zidane/Vivi/Steiner/Freya like I always use :griin: I'll maybe use her eidolons each once or twice just to watch the animations, but she's not honestly that vital with the methods I use :hmmm:

EDIT: Because of her "can't concentrate" thing, not her trancing at bad times :hmmm:

Omg I was once in a battle against some random dudes who were not overly easy but I could kill them in about 2 turns, anyway all 4 of my characters went into trance during that battle and I :rage:'d
what a goddamn waste
 
I never, in a single instance, in a single playthrough of 9 ever experienced trance at a useful moment.

Alternatively, watching my wife play the game, on one of the late bosses her entire party was dead except for Vivi, who was berserk. Vivi tranced, and brought it all back from the brink of despair.
